Furious Harlem residents forced New York Mayor Eric Adams into a humiliating u-turn on plans to house migrants in an empty luxury apartment building after they spotted bunk-beds being discreetly delivered.
The WA condominium off 130th Street promised buyers an indoor swimming pool, marble bathrooms and a rooftop running track, before the project was put on ice in a neighborhood with a chronic housing shortage.
Schools, nursing homes and a string of landmark hotels have been requisitioned to house many of the 170,000 migrants who have arrived in the city since the spring of 2022.

A coalition of Democrats in the U.S. House, led by self-proclaimed atheist Rep. Jared Huffman, has written to Speaker Mike Johnson to express members’ rage over a Christian pastor’s recent House invocation, and to express their intolerance for his views. It was Pastor Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel in Chino Hills who had been invited to deliver the invocation and, as a Christian, spoke of a “coming day of judgment.”Democrats responded by claiming Hibbs is “radical Christian Nationalist who helped fuel the January 6th insurrection and [who] has a long record of hateful vitriol toward non-Christians, immigrants, and members of the LGBTQ community.”

Former Attorney General William Barr has not been kind to Donald Trump since he left his post at the Justice Department. He opposed the former president’s actions after the 2020 election and has said that Trump's returning to the White House would be a chaotic “horror show.” He’s also called for the former president to be replaced as the leader of the Republican Party, warning he would burn the house down if he remains as the face of the GOP. But a lot can change in a year or two. According to Axios'

Finally, after 378 days, Joe Biden got around to visiting East Palestine, Ohio.
The town had been subjected to all sorts of concerns about environmental toxins since a train derailment on Feb. 2, 2023. Many of the residents there still have medical concerns. But Biden couldn't be bothered to go to the town -- despite saying he would -- until now, until the 2024 election is underway, and he realizes he needs Ohio. That's despite going on all kinds of vacations since then, and even visiting Ukraine. He has shown where his priorities are. (X Video) People in the area were not happy and they sounded off

Judge Arthur Engoron fined former Donald Trump and the Trump Organization on Friday in civil a fraud case for more than $350 million and barred him from serving as an officer or director of any New York corporation for three years.
New York Attorney General Letitia James sought to essentially bankrupt Trump by calling for a $370 million fine and a lifetime of from the real estate industry in New York State. James claimed Trump committed financial fraud.
Trump plans to appeal the ruling. “This is a case that should have never been brought, and I think we should be entitled to damages,” Trump said during closing arguments.

More black veterans need to file for — and receive — mental health disability checks, because, according to President Biden’s Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), being black and declared mentally disabled is a more “equitable” way to treat our nation’s warriors.
According to the VA’s released on Wednesday, “while Black Veterans receive VA benefits at higher rates than other Veterans – their grant rates for disability compensation are lower for mental health conditions, including post-traumatic stress disorder.” “A higher percentage of Black Veterans currently receive disability compensation benefits than white Veterans for mental health conditions (21.7% vs. 12.7%).

Joe Biden on Friday departed the White House en route to East Palestine, Ohio.
Biden is finally visiting East Palestine more than ONE YEAR after the toxic train crash.
On Feb. 3, 2022, just before 9 p.m. Eastern, a Norfolk Southern train derailed near East Palestine, Ohio, a small Midwestern town of about 4,800 people near the Ohio border with Pennsylvania.
At least 11 of the train cars that derailed contained hazardous materials. Several cars were carrying vinyl chloride, a cancer-causing substance.

The results are in - the psychotic 'sanctuary cities' experiment has utterly failed.
And there's no clearer proof than the Rotten Apple – where a once proud, party-boy mayor has been reduced to a sniveling spectator to his own city's decline.
'I can't deport. I can't stop people from coming in,' Eric Adams told Fox Nation on Wednesday, referring to suicidal sanctuary city laws that prevent New York State authorities from cooperating with federal law enforcement.Faced with the prospect of an open southern border flooding NYC with roving gangs of migrant repeat-offenders, who have shot tourists, beaten police officers and terrorized neighborhoods from Brooklyn to the Bronx, Hizzoner has thrown up

Former President Trump declared ‘GAME OVER' in his Georgia election interference case during the dramatic hearing that could disqualify Fulton County DA Fani Willis.
Trump took to his Truth Social platform to celebrate as the Fulton County District Attorney hit back at allegations she improperly hired her boyfriend Nathan Wade to help prosecute the former president.
His comments followed a staggering claim from Willis' college friend that she began her romantic relationship with Wade in 2019, three years earlier than they disclosed in court filings.

An evidentiary hearing about alleged misconduct by Soros-backed Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis was underway on Thursday as the judge weighs whether Willis should be disqualified from the Trump RICO case.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Fani Willis “financially benefited” from a romantic relationship with top Trump prosecutor Nathan Wade.
Trump’s RICO co-defendant, Michael Roman, filed an explosive supplemental reply to Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and accused her of lying to the court about her affair with the top Trump prosecutor she appointed.
