Ron DeSantis Challenges Donald Trump to
Debate Ahead of Iowa Caucus

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is urging former President Donald Trump to debate him ahead of the Iowa caucus, which takes place January 15, following former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley agreeing to appear in CNN’s Hawkeye State debate. “If Donald Trump and Nikki Haley are going to continue to spend millions against me on television with false attacks, they should at least have the courage to meet on the debate stage,” DeSantis said in a Friday post on X. “Now that Nikki Haley has been shamed into coming to the CNN debate, it’s time for Donald Trump to follow suit and join us,” DeSantis added: (X)

Our former President Trump has more than earned the right to ask us for our vote. His actions, ticking off one campaign promise after another as “done” for four years as President proved it. It is more than talk with him and that is why he is miles ahead of the Keebler elves. Ron needs the debate. Trump does not.

I love both guys. Donald Trump is, by far, the best president in my lifetime and I've been around the Sun a few times. Ron deSantis is the best governor in the country. He is one of the reasons why so many people live in Florida including a distinguished former president. If I make it to Nov 2024 I'll vote for whoever, and I mean whoever, is the nominee of the GOP. But in the primary I will vote in the dim farce for The Love Goddess. If she could beat Quid Pro Joe that would be fantastic.

Prove you have the mental acuity needed for the big chair. Can't claim your the best fighter if you refuse to get in the ring. Just because you got real lucky and landed one huge knockout shot ONCE doesn't give you the title for life. So far, selling NFT's and pieces of his used clothing gives me NO confidence that he's even really serious about this whole thing. Go ahead and flame away at me. Two rail bridges carrying freight between Mexico and Texas are being closed by the Border Patrol to try and stem the 'recent resurgence' in cargo carriages being used by migrants. It is not the first time the bridges have been closed, but the economic impact is severe. In September, a three-day closure left $1 billion worth of produce sitting idle in trains stuck on either side. The bridges into El Paso and Eagle Pass will close starting 8am Monday, the Customs and Border Protection agency said on Sunday - their latest drastic measure to try and reduce the arrivals.

Raw unprotected gay sex. Not a topic that a mainstream political news outlet normally handles. However, when you are talking about Democrats and the U.S. Senate sometimes such outlets do have to handle it. Such is the case with a 24-year-old staffer for Senator Ben Cardin who was discovered on a private video having raw unprotected gay sex in a chamber of the Hart Senate Building on Capitol Hill. So if you are Politico, how do you cover this scandal? Well, very very delicately as you can see in the Saturday Playbook, "Senate staffer out after sex tape scandal."

New York City Mayor Eric Adams again called out the Biden administration and the federal government over its 'baffling' inability to address the Big Apple's migrant crisis. Adams, a Democrat, has often clashed with the president and Democrats in Washington, constantly begging Washington for money to solve a disaster that he claimed will 'destroy my city.' It comes alongside the news there are now over 67,000 migrants living in the city's shelter system, over triple the 21,300 at this time last year. In a Sunday interview, Adams was asked why his fellow Democrats in DC have ignored his repeated, in-person pleas to help, the mayor said he was at a loss and

The Michigan Appeals Court ruled in favor of allowing former President Donald J. Trump to remain on the 2024 presidential primary ballot. The ruling follows legal challenges brought forth by plaintiffs who questioned Trump’s eligibility under the Insurrection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment. The Gateway Pundit previously reported that a Michigan judge dismissed a challenge aimed at preventing former President Donald Trump from appearing on the state’s ballot for the 2024 presidential election. “The Fourteenth Amendment arguments of plaintiffs present a political question that is nonjusticiable at the present time,” Judge James Robert Redford noted in his ruling.

According to the Daily Caller, the video was leaked after being "shared in a private group for gay men in politics." Posts on social media claimed the alleged staffer worked for Sen. It has long been obvious that the Democrats badly want Donald Trump to be the Republican presidential nominee in 2024. This may seem counterintuitive in light of a recent spate of polls showing the former president leading Joe Biden, but this is primarily an artifact of the latter’s weakness. The most reliable polls show Trump bumping up against a ceiling of about 47 percent of the popular vote, which is consistent with his performance in the last two elections. Moreover, in order to win in the Electoral College, he must recapture several swing states Biden narrowly won in 2020.
