President Joe Biden made another move Thursday to push his electric car agenda and live up to his nickname as 'Amtrak Joe' by pressing federal employees to rent electric vehicles and take more trains.
In a directive Thursday, federal employees were told to rent EVS on official travel when costs are less or equal to comparable gas-powered vehicles and where charging is accessible.
Additionally, federal workers were instructed to take rail for trips less than 250 miles when cost-effective and feasible rather than flying.

I guess FJB could demand that the American taxpayer provide every federal worker with an electric car. Or maybe he could go back to the future and have everyone enjoy using a a Flintstone car. Bicycle, skateboard, walk, run, jog, As long as there is no combustible engine you are good to go. Yeah, good luck with that. And what is this fascination with trains? I am so tired of this nonsense and ignorant people. This is about control people. Not transportation.

Renting an electric car is not EVER going to be cheaper than an ICE car, and the train is much more expensive than air flight. Just more BS that some fool got Biden to state. This guy can't even tie his own shoes, what does he know about renting EV's?

This should be interesting. What will the government unions have to say about this? After all, it is their job to look after the rights of the workers, right?

The longer this IDIOT and his offspring are around, the harder I pray to GOD to lead me to some sanctuary, somewhere, away from the chaotic mess that my beloved country has become.

Re #2, extremely simple. They won't pay the expense account items that don't comply.
I was a govt contractor for over 30 years, dis a lot of business travel, definitely learned their system.

I'll not quiicly forgive the Post Office when Trump tried to cut back on their numbers of gas delivery trucks.
We go so many packages damaged and way late during that time.
Will other fed employees pull this same ploy?
They can hurt us all on so many ways when they feel put upon.

Of course this does not apply to "Mr. Net Zero" himself, J 'Lurch' Kerry!
He'll continue to travel to 'Global Warming' conferences at exotic locations around the world in a private jet at Taxpayer expense..... and have a Motorcade to transport him around locally.

Does it matter that employee time will be wasted?
Government employees will be less productive than they are now.

When did they buy an EV for Biden's transportation? He should set the example don't you think? It will be fun to watch when they drive him around in bitter cold weather and the battery dies,
