The abortion pill ends one life and damages another, Rep. Bob Good, R-Va., said Monday during a panel on chemical abortion held by The Heritage Foundation, referring to the death of the baby and its effects on the mother’s mental health.[Snip]Francis, attesting to the dangers of chemical abortion, said post-abortive women are six to seven times more likely to commit suicide.[Snip]Although the U.S. Food and Drug Administration says the abortion pill is “safe and effective,” chemical abortion is four times more likely to result in complications than surgical abortion, Francis said.

Apparently, they lie about a lot of things. What’s with FDA pulling popular OTC flu and allergy meds off the market because they aren’t effective? Is there another vaccine that is ready for market? Asking for a friend.

I don't think it's so much the means of abortion as the guilt caused by killing a child inside your own body. I knew a woman who came close to suicide but recovered after several long years of suffering.

Pregnancy termination in whatever form is always a disaster for the woman whether they admit it or recognize it or not. It may not show up for years in depression or in inability to conceive or many other ways but it ALWAYS shows up. Consider surrogacy, it's an industry based on medically induced reproductive dysfunction, and now we can add another victim, the surrogate mother. Just one example.

With Tuesday’s relatively easy passage of an Ohio constitutional amendment that effectively bars that state’s legislature from regulating abortion in the state, abortion advocates are now convinced that they not only have the public on their side but have found political gold. They now view abortion as such a winning issue that they think it can pave the way to enacting a wide range of other leftist goals.
