House censures Rep. Rashida Tlaib amid
bipartisan backlash over Israel comments

Washington — The House voted to censure Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib, the only Palestinian American in Congress, after her defense of a rallying cry that is widely regarded as calling for the elimination of Israel. The censure resolution introduced by Georgia Rep. Rich McCormick condemns the Michigan Democrat for "promoting false narratives" around the Oct. 7 terrorist attack by Hamas on Israel and "calling for the destruction of the state of Israel." The House passed the measure late Tuesday by a vote of 234 to 188, with 22 Democrats joining all but 4 Republicans voting in favor of her censure. Four members voted present.

This woman and her fellow squad members are not fit for office. When you support Hamas, you have crossed a line that should end in not only censure but removal from office. We should not tolerate anyone in public office who would support such heinous soulless acts of terror. This woman and her friends are reprehensible. Believe me, there are more out there just like her who want to get into public office to force their views on this country through the work that is done in Washington.

The censure will strip Tlaib of committee assignments, for one. It also reveals in the debate and in the vote where the congress critters really stand on the issue of anti-semites like Tlaib and how they view G-d’s chosen people.

Perhaps the Tlaib and her Palestinian constituents would be interested to know how much former residents of Dearborn resent them. Maybe Muslims in Minneapolis would be, too. Maybe residents of Eden Prairie, MN of every race and religion would be surprised to learn that at one time people enjoyed looking at the farmland there, the undeveloped beauty it contained. Intil they came and had it developed. I once lived in a home with a gorgeous view of Lake Sammamish near Seattle until the land near me was developed and my view forever blocked. And life goes on, people move around, build houses, frustrate others, impact cultures, etc. It is the story of mankind. The Palestinians can’t handle it and I think the Bible describes their tribe as in conflict with everyone else all the time until the end of time. When monsters put a tiny baby in a 500* oven and force the mother to watch it bake they are scum. I will support whoever doesn’t excuse or cheer that behavior. Rashida Tlaib and her supporters can go to hell.

#11, Tlaib and every other American, has freedom of speech, but not freedom from the consequences of what they say. She endorses terrorism and genocide. Being a member of Congress makes what she said particularly heinous. And dangerous. This is also (one of many reasons) why I had a problem with the clowns who brought a megaphone to the legislative chamber in Tennessee. "Speaking truth to power" is fine, but when you ARE the power you have to play by the rules, which is vote however you want and accept when you lose. We reported previously about how a State Department official resigned over U.S. support for Israel in the Israel-Hamas war, and that more might be looking for an exit. There was also an internal memo written by two State Department staffers demanding that the U.S. support a ceasefire, as well as other similar thoughts submitted to the department's Dissent Channel. But now some Congressional staffers have just made a video on the Capitol steps to express their displeasure that the U.S. hasn't called for a ceasefire in the war. If Democrats re-nominate Joe Biden, the 2024 election could resemble the 1980 contest between Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan. Why? Because a large majority of Americans are worse off today than they were before Joe Biden took office. This CBS News poll illustrates the point. There is a lot of interesting information at the link, but let’s focus on what I think are the most important points. First, how are things going in America today? Generally speaking, do you feel things in America today are going… Very well: 5% Somewhat well: 22% Somewhat badly: 36% Very badly: 37% These are absolutely brutal numbers for an incumbent president.

The latest New York Times poll showing former President Donald Trump leading Joe Biden in five of the six swing states sent Democrats into paroxysms. But there are troublesome facts about both candidates buried in the crosstabs of that poll that Peter Schweizer drills down on in his most recent podcast episode, and they don’t even touch on the abortion issue that seemed to dominate this week’s elections in Virginia, Ohio, and elsewhere. The Times poll found Trump leading in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Michigan, and Nevada by between five and ten points over President Joe Biden, while closely trailing Biden in Wisconsin. Honest Reporting broke a bombshell today: Gaza-based photographers who work for the Associated Press and Reuters were on the scene of the October 7 massacre in Israel very early in the morning, ready to capture the moment when Hamas fighters raped, kidnapped, tortured, and slaughtered almost 1,500 Israeli civilians. Maybe they heard about what happened and decided it was newsworthy, so they hustled on over. Or maybe Reuters and the AP are paying money to people who knew that civilians were about to be massacred and either thought, “Yay” or “What a great opportunity to collect a paycheck.” Here's what Honest Reporting had to say: On October 7, Hamas terrorists

The Minnesota Supreme Court on Wednesday rejected an attempt to block Donald Trump from the state’s GOP primary ballot next year based on the 14th Amendment’s “insurrection clause” but said the challengers can try again to block from the general election ballot if the former president wins the Republican nomination. The 14th Amendment, ratified after the Civil War, says US officials who take an oath to uphold the Constitution are banned from future office if they “engaged in insurrection.” But the Constitution doesn’t say how to enforce the ban, and it has only been applied twice since 1919, which is why many experts view these challenges as a long shot.

When terrorists tell you who they are, believe them. Hamas’ terror-symps and useful idiots have spent four weeks marching through college campuses and city centers demanding a cease-fire. Meanwhile, Hamas tells the New York Times they want “permanent” war for their political purposes, and designed the October 7 massacres to get one. They envision a state of total war with Israel that will force other Arab nations to join them to destroy Israel and slaughter its Jews, and the weeks since have only brought them closer to that goal. Or at least, they think so: But in the bloody arithmetic of Hamas’s leaders, the carnage is not the regrettable outcome
