The government is not to blame for using COVID to expand their power, that's what all governments eventually do and lawyers are not the answer. The blame rests solely on the millions of American stooges who willingly gave up their freedoms, complied with shutdowns, took dubious and untested vaccines and wore those useless rags on their faces when proof was presented early on that they were useless. The "useful idiots" as people such as this were identified decades ago by communist promoters, came through as predicted for the US Government and most of the civilized world. Washington did not escape their own dictatorial policies as the US Military, airline pilots and police forces were decimated by the vaccine requirements. Perhaps the worst outcome was the dumbing down of millions of our children when already underperforming schools were closed.

Very, very early on hubby and I recognized that the information we were being fed was seriously flawed for a variety of reasons. So when the so-called vaccines became available we were already so skeptical of anything coming the government that we made the decision that we would be and remain part of the control group in what was obviously a huge, unprecedented experiment. We have never regretted that decision. I credit the Holy Spirit for inspiring us to do what we did; especially with every new piece of information that emerges concerning the ongoing terrible effects of those drugs.

There was plenty of evidence that Covid was a very survivable virus. A little bit of research beyond the usual stuff would have done the trick. I turned off the TV to get rid of the virus fear porn and lived my life very normally. Often I would be the only one in the grocery store without a face diaper going the wrong way down the aisle (remember that?). I will ignore the next latest thing too. I am ashamed of my fellow Americans who bought into this giant hoax.

I know a LOT of people who had covid. I had it too. The only ones who had a difficult time with it were those who had pre-existing conditions. The worst was a woman I know who is overweight, has high blood pressure, asthma and diabetes and she had a very bad time with it. I have a sibling with psoriatic arthritis and he had it rough too. Everyone else has described it as a mild flu or bad cold which was my experience. I didn't take the new shot. My doctor said I don't need it.

Most of us have friends and relatives that still believe that a covid virus is just waiting, ready to pounce on them. We must feel compassion for them, as we do for any ill person. But please, spare the rest of us from their bizarre rituals.

In my county, Kansas suburbs of Kansas City, the county closed restaurants for 6 weeks, and then it was over here. Once that was over, we continued to go out to dinner with friends once a week, and to eat with other friends in restaurants the entire time. Two couples of our dinner group bowed out for 18 months, sat home by their own choice, but my wife and I and other friends still went to restaurants. I never wore masks, either going to the restaurants, or in them. We shopped normally, did not wear masks when shopping. One grocery store I use said that they were going to "require masks"....and did, but didn't confront me when I shopped without a mask. Initially, when there was reason to believe that the virus could be transmitted via surface contamination, we sprayed out hands with isopropyl alcohol prior to entering our cars. That ended after 6 months when we discovered that this was an extremely improbable transmission route. We visited Yellowstone Park, met family members there and had dinner together in a large lodge (igoring their mask mandate, getting mildly hassled) and camped, hiked, visited relatives in Florida and Mississippi, traveled whenever and wherever we chose. We visited our cabin in Colorado, hired a well driller, had a well drilled, and had another company install the well pump, bury the deep pipe to the house, and more. Just went about our business pretty much unhindered. Other than the difficulty in some cases of finding restaurants open in random counties where the idiot county commissioners shut down restaurants, we had no difficulties. And foolish crap like one particular large chain store gas station where there were no windshield cleaning squeegies. When I asked about it the fool said "There's a pandemic going on!" To which I replied, "What the heck does that have to do with cleaning my windshield?" All the others of the same chain store had their windshield squeegies in place. Fools. God Bless Waffle House and Subway. They were the restaurant chains that we found ALWAYS open when traveling, where it was sometimes a pain to find a nearby restaurant in the town we happened to be at when meal time rolled around. We did not "lock down" in any sense. We were moderately inconvenienced. Just ignore the idiots.

I’m extremely grateful to still be jab-free after all these years. I’m also grateful that I live in a state where our governor has already announced that there will be no mandates of any kind, no lockdowns and no closed schools this winter.

In our decades of experience covering politics, we’ve never seen a poll as devastating to an incumbent president as the one CBS News/YouGov poll published over the weekend. The short version is that more voters think they would be better off if Donald Trump returns to the White House than they would if Joe Biden stays there. Think about that for a moment. Then there’s the New York Times/Sienna College poll, also published over the weekend, showing that Trump leads Biden in five key swing states, and by wide margins: 10 points in Nevada, 6 points in Georgia, 5 in Arizona and Michigan, and 4 points in Pennsylvania.

In recent weeks, we’ve seen a number of pundits, columns, and articles predict the imminent demise of the odious and anti-American “woke” movement. As Shakespeare once said, ” ‘Tis a consummation devoutly to be wished.” But if woke is indeed passing on, it sure is taking its time. What do we mean by “woke”? It’s the extreme-left mindset encouraged by the “Diversity, Equity, Inclusion” movement, the ugly offspring of Marxism and critical race theory. Its intent is all-inclusive, covering the entirety of culture, social interactions, and commerce. Indeed, the movement’s ultimate goal

In his book “Barack Obama’s Rules for Revolution,” David Horowitz, a New Left movement founder in the 1960s, refers to a member of the radical Students for a Democratic Society who “once wrote, ‘The issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution.’ In other words the cause – whether inner city blacks or women – is never the real cause, but only an occasion to advance the real cause which is the accumulation of power to make the revolution.” Now apply that to the tussle over man’s impact on the climate and things become much clearer. In the minds of the climate alarmists, the revolution looks like

Now that they can’t use COVID to scare the public into submission, Democrats – from President Joe Biden on down – are working on Plan B. Shouting “Democracy is at risk!” every chance they get. That’s become the default line for the left. This weekend, when CBS News reporter Bill Whitaker asked Vice President Kamala Harris about the possibility of Biden dying in office, her response was: “Let me just tell you, I’m focused on the job. Our democracy is on the line, Bill. And I frankly in my head do not have time for parlor games when we have a president

This weekend, hundreds of millions of Americans will dutifully set their clocks back one hour, convincing themselves that they’ve “gained” an hour – despite spending at least part of it resetting all their timepieces. Americans should instead refuse to play along. Few government mandates combine such utter pointlessness and serious public health harms than the twice-a-year switch on and off Daylight Saving Time. It’s time to end the madness. First, despite its label, “Daylight Saving Time” does not save daylight. It doesn’t even save energy. Two studies looked at energy use before and after changes in DST laws.

Whether it’s the Russia-Ukraine war, or the Israeli-Hamas war, NATO remains a big part of U.S. decision-making. Indeed, the U.S.-led postwar alliance has lasted 75 years, and it’s fair to say that nearly everything the U.S. does overseas involves NATO, directly or indirectly. But increasingly, average Americans are uneasy about the alliance, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. A significant number of Americans, though not yet a majority, feel the burdens of the U.S.’ NATO leadership as unfairly distributed, according to the online I&I/TIPP Poll of 1,378 adults taken from Sept. 27-29 The first question was

Many people have climbed aboard the electric-vehicle bandwagon, lured by promises of pristine air and cheap, easy-to-use electricity that make EVs seem inevitable. But now, after years of spending billions on subsidies and shaming people into buying into our inevitable all-electric future, some are slamming on the brakes — surprisingly, including many of the biggest companies in the industry. The global companies, recipients of massive subsidies to support fossil-fuel abolition, are backing away from their support. General Motors, faced with a strike, just abandoned its EV strategy,

It is to these close-minded, irrational, sometimes neurotic and too-often grifting people that we dedicate this editorial. To follow up on Wednesday’s editorial, we’ll point out: The very folks who screech the most about the emergency of climate change don’t live their lives as if they believe that it’s an existential threat. Barack Obama owns a pair of coastal mansions that will be underwater within years if some of the warming alarmists’ forecasts are correct.

A new study out of Norway is exactly what was needed to shut down the climate alarmists. Its findings show that man has not set fire to his home planet. Right from the top, in the abstract not 10 lines into the study, the authors get to the point. “Using theoretical arguments and statistical tests we find,” the researchers say, “that the effect of man-made CO2 emissions does not appear to be strong enough to cause systematic changes in the temperature fluctuations during the last 200 years.” In other words, our words, the greenhouse effect is so weak

Friday afternoon, the Treasury Department reported that, despite a growing economy and low unemployment, the federal deficit shot up by $320 billion in fiscal year 2023. That’s unusual. But what’s really bizarre is why the deficit exploded. According to the report, overall spending actually dropped by 2% compared with 2022 as the COVID-19 spending splurge abated. What drove up the deficit this year was a sudden and completely unexpected 9% drop in tax revenues. Not only did revenues come up hundreds of billions lower than last year, but they were well below what everybody expected them to be.

Do the major media outlets in the U.S., online, on-air or in print, care whether their audience trusts them or not? It certainly doesn’t seem to be the case today. Americans’ trust in the U.S. media has plunged to its lowest levels ever, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll data show. Both big, mainstream “traditional” media outlets and mid-sized “alternative” media outlets continue to suffer from declining revenues as their audience and readership numbers shrink. The October I&I/TIPP Poll shows that a loss in underlying trust is a key cause of media industry decline.
