At this point in history, they should have nothing to do with our Israel policy. And yet, welcome our new ambassador to the Jewish State, Jack Lew. Sen. Ben Cardin, the Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations, ludicrously claimed during Lew’s confirmation hearing that the former Treasury Secretary was “eminently qualified to serve in this post. He has extensive experience.” Lew’s only experience in foreign policy is championing pro-Iran policies.

Based on MSNBC’s recent special, “Martha’s Vineyard v. DeSantis,” even award-winning documentarians cannot produce a propaganda film about Gov. Ron DeSantis’ “political stunt” of sending illegals to this wealthy liberal redoubt without the residents coming across as clueless, entitled douchebags.
The documentary is the celluloid equivalent of stepping on a rake and having the rake hit you in the face.

Of course he does. Because even the most entrenched ideological Attorney General can see the absurdity of pushing the “new democratic norms” to the scale of jailing the leading presidential candidate in the United States.
During the opening segment of an interview with Obama “wingman” Eric Holder, the former attorney general admitted there is no likely scenario where DC Judge Tanya Chutkan would jail President Trump for violating a transparently motivated gag order.

My assumption is that Mike Johnson (R-LA), who is currently running for the Speakership of the House, will also go down to defeat. Nevertheless, in the interests of being clear about what kind of politicians are unacceptable for the Speakership we should explore his positions. No surprises:

Back when I used to be a teacher at an English all-girls school and the older students were asked what they wanted to do when they left, alongside all the normal answers from the nice girls, a depressing minority of the nasty ones openly answered either “claim welfare benefits” or “be a prostitute.” (snip) before long, it slowly began to emerge that it was actually possible to claim free taxpayer money to skewer floozies with—at least if you were registered as disabled.

The absolute worst-case scenario is Tom Emmer (R-MN) who has just received the endorsement of Kevin McCarthy. Emmer wants to abolish the electoral college for presidential races in favor of a national popular vote. Unfortunately, Emmer likely carries around 70 automatic votes from the professionally Republican caucus.
