Another precedent-setting event related to the criminal prosecution of a former president is scheduled for Monday morning in the federal courtroom of Judge Tanya S. Chutkan in Washington. Special Counsel Jack Smith is asking Chutkan—an Obama appointee with a record of biased and often inaccurate statements about Donald Trump and the events of January 6 in general—to silence the leading GOP presidential contender on a key campaign issue through the heart of the 2024 primary season. Smith’s prosecutors and Trump’s defense attorneys will square off during what is expected to be a fiery hearing to debate the special counsel’s proposed gag order ostensibly needed to prevent Trump

Gag orders are to prevent jury contamination. This is a bench trial. The Judge will be ruling that Trump can't speak freely because it might unduly influence her decision. She needs mental help.

I hope that Chutkan orders the gag on Trump. That will force SCOTUS to intervene and overturn the ruling, as well as all the silly indictments

#3, I hope you are correct, but I just cannot put my trust in the SCOTUS to take it up. They appear to be feckless and unwilling to do the hard work which they were assigned to do when they accepted the honor of serving on the Supreme Court. Roberts will not put “his” court in a position to be criticized by the left and they will go after the court if they in any way consider a Trump case. All they have to do is threaten to pack the court and Roberts folds like a cheap suit. The only thing that is going to save this country is men and women of impeccable integrity with a spine of steel who will stand for what is right against all odds. Not sure that the Roberts Court has those qualities.

All of these trials against Trump are nothing but election interference by the cheating Democrats who are not sure that they can beat him even with their cheating in 2024. Inflation and 2 wars and invasion by illegals should convince anyone that Democrats have to go.

When a foreign born alien, in this case Tanya Chutkin can gain entry to the USA, be granted naturalized U.S. citizenship, and get appointed as a Federal Judge by the Democrat leftist Barack Obama who politically opposes the Republicans, then be in a position, based upon a Democrat based law fare indictment, to issue a gag order against Donald Trump who is the leading Republican candidate for President in the 2024 General Election, so does anyone, outside of the leftist and socialist Democrats who no doubt support that, see that situation as a problem?

Hardly special counsel “Smith also took issue with Trump calling Smith “deranged.” Perhaps President Trump should agree to say that “I apologize. Smith is no more deranged than the rest of the Biden Administration and specifically Biden, his AG and the entire DoJ. I did not mean to imply that only Smith was deranged. As to Judge Chutkan, I have to apologize to all Americans who care about their country and the rule of law for not opposing her life time appointment as a federal judge. Unlike Persecutor Smith and the judge, I am not perfect.”

Trump would gain sympathy from any actions taken against him due to violating a gag order. Several founding fathers declared that an unconstitutional law was immediately void. Let Trump go there. Let them come after him if they dare because WE WILL RESPOND.

#8, how do we know she was naturalized? Is there a public record of her naturalization? Another thing: did she renounce her Jamaican citizenship?, or do we have a dual citizen presiding in this trial ? The international character of the prosecution of this president is interesting; Tanya, the globe-trotting daughter of the global elite, and jacksmith, hometown-boy-done-good euro-lawyer from the Hague. It may well turn out that it's not Trump that they're trying to neutralize, but the constitution itself. They ultimately intend to make this country subject to the laws of an international body-- to end our sovereignty. And won't they be mad when they learn they won't be a part of that new ruling class.

Among the litter of guns, korans, and maps discarded by the Hamas terrorists whose bodies lie alongside bullet-riddled vehicles and dusty roads are green Gaza IDs with work permits. Normally residents of the Hamas territory can’t enter Israel, but work permits allowed over 20,000 Gazans to enter Israel. When some returned, it was as Hamas rapists and killers. The Hamas invasion succeeded so well because the terrorists had an intimate knowledge of the communities they were targeting because they had worked there or had intelligence from those who had worked there. The attackers had detailed maps and building layouts. One woman whose husband and son were murdered said

Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders will announce on Tuesday that a Chinese state-owned corporation must sell more than 100 acres of agricultural land in northeast Arkansas, the consequence of a law signed by Sanders earlier this year barring ownership of agricultural land by prohibited foreign parties, Townhall has learned. The 160 acres of land owned by Syngenta — an agrichemical company headquartered in Switzerland and owned by Chinese Communist Party-controlled ChemChina — is the first to be hit with the consequences of Act 636 which went into effect earlier this year after being signed by Governor Sanders.

It doesn’t take long, does it? It doesn’t take long for the ‘story’ to concentrate first and foremost on the ‘suffering’ of the Palestinians, on the worries about the electricity supply in Gaza, or for voices to be raised condemning ‘Israeli actions’. I entered the phrase ‘Israeli victims of Hamas attack’ on a search engine. The search engine replied with these first words in its summary: “Palestinian civilians across Gaza are struggling for survival in the face of an unprecedented Israeli operation against the territory…” (Snip)Western powers including the US are already scolding Israel about how they should respond to the worst one-day terrorist massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.

If any indictment ever demanded dismissal, this one does. The case against Marine Corps veteran Daniel Penny, facing charges of manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide in New York City, came under new light in a defense motion brief reported by Fox News on Tuesday. The incident took place aboard a subway car in Manhattan, a closed environment where riders were at the mercy of a man openly menacing women and children. And as grand jury testimony cited in the brief makes clear — testimony that paints a picture of the atmosphere on the F train that day — those riders were terrified.

“For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep still.”—Isaiah 62:1 On Saturday, Israel suffered the worst attack on its civilian population in 50 years. Iranian-backed Hamas terrorists in Gaza launched thousands of rockets at Israeli population centers and stormed through the security barrier into Israel where they massacred hundreds of Jewish men, women, and children. An untold number were also taken captive and thousands are seriously injured. Fifty years ago, Israel was also caught by surprise when Arab armies invaded on Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish year. This time, the Palestinian terrorists chose to attack on Simchat Torah,

Hamas broke through a fortified border, had unchallenged freedom of movement inside Israel for a shockingly long time, and attacked….a dance music festival and some kibbutzim. Not airfields, not fuel depots, not power stations, not army motor pools to deny mobility to the enemy. They went after soft targets first, and focused especially on women and children. Eyewitness reports and footage of female hostages are telling us that Hamas engaged in sustained sexual violence, and took care to make it known. The Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel are truly horrible and unprecedented. (Snip)Israel is known for its excellent intelligence capabilities and its high tech tools. But there was a fatal mistake. Israel believed that it had hermetically sealed off Gaza and contained the threat from there. Even the rocket threat was understood to be controlled by Israel's Iron Dome, minimizing the chance of damage to Israeli population centers. This belief is the root cause of what has just happened in Israel. It has let things fester in Gaza for decades. Israel never wanted to send in ground forces and clean out the enemy. Now the people of Israel

A country cannot be sustained on this,” Jeremy Tate, founder of the Classic Learning Test, told Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts on his “Kevin Roberts Show” podcast.
