Judge declares Biden version of DACA illegal

A federal judge in Texas on Wednesday again ruled that the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program is illegal, but kept it intact for now for hundreds of thousands of undocumented immigrants who arrived in the U.S. as children. After the Biden administration moved last year to finalize a rule to codify the Obama-era DACA policy into a federal regulation, a group of Republican-led states challenged the effort and asked Texas-based U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen to shut down the program in its entirety over two years. As expected, Hanen on Wednesday ruled the Biden administration’s effort unlawful, but refrained from terminating the program and maintained the status quo

So, when following the law is hard, by acknowledging it, it seems we can then simply ignore its weight. It seems to also work that way when one has signed a financial contract that one doesn't want to pay anymore. Can this loophole be applied to the payment of one's taxes? Asking for a friend.

The Obama Era DACA kids are no longer kids. They are adults. As adults they have no excuse for not applying to be here legally. Get a green card, apply for citizenship, or get out (with the rest of your family) and stop flaunting the law. You're not kids anymore. As for the other kids, DACA should never have been in place. Be mad at your parents for your predicament.

DACA is an Obama-era vote buying scheme and, as such, should have died along with that equally failed administration. Since somebody took little illegal alien Barry under his Hungarian wing and paid for his unearned degrees, social security numbers, driver's license, etc. Barry thought he should take a bunch under his own skinny chicken wing. Everything labeled "Biden" came from Barry because Biden has never had an original thought in his life other than the ones that concern little girls who smell good to him. Well the US Constitution gives the US Congress explicit authority to pass the US immigration and nationality laws, including what foreigners (aliens) can lawfully come into the USA, and stay, for what purpose, such as for temporary visitors for business of pleasure or as legal immigrants as long as they abide by the immigration laws. Illegal aliens who are fashionably being referred to as being migrants these days who have unlawfully entered the USA and who claim that they have come into the USA for whatever purpose are deportable aliens under the immigration laws. No President has the constitutional authority to make up their own Immigration or nationality laws, such as the so-called DACA laws, as Obama did, and Biden has obviously been doing for partisan political purposes, by doing so have violated their constitutional oaths of office as they were and are supposed to administer and enforce the immigration and nationality laws that have been passed by Congress to the best of their abilities and the made up Obama and Biden so-called DACA laws have never been passed by Congress.

Just another scheme used by Democrats to curry favor for a particular group, but they've only left them in limbo for the past 11 years (the executive order was 2012). DACA - Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Congress needs to make it happen not an executive order. Believe Trump was willing to make this legal with his comprehensive reforms, but the Democrats didn't want to give the $5 billion for the fence/border/barrier, and wanted the issue instead. However, during the past 6-7 years, the path to crossing the Southern border is much more dangerous and expensive than when most of those who fall under DACA. I think Hispanics are seeing how horrible things are at the border and for those, particularly women and children, who are trying to get to the United States. And they see Republicans have always wanted a legal process. Something more similar to Ellis Island, where you come through the front door instead of sneaking across the Rio Grande River.

#16 the reason that the Congress has not passed any modern immigration reform is that the congressional Democrats have been demanding that any immigration reform package passed by Congress include a massive Democrat designed series of “path to citizenship” amnesty and legalization programs for just about the entire illegal alien population consisting of well over 15-20 million mostly poor and uneducated illegal aliens from the Third World, who the leftist Democrats believe because of their sometimes dire, and generally lower economic and financial circumstances would no doubt need government provided social welfare benefits, new rights, and services on into the future, would embrace the leftist and socialist Democrat political agenda, and would become future leftist and socialist Democrat supporters and voters by the tens of millions. Common sense will tell you that if the wimpy Republicans ever allow such massive leftist and socialist Democrat designed amnesty and legalization programs to pass Congress and become law, that the wimpy Republicans would be committing political suicide and would never be able to successfully win any future Presidential elections or control the Congress on into the future, as the leftist and socialist Democrats would keep encouraging, inviting, and allowing untold numbers of illegal aliens to unlawfully enter the USA by the tens of millions by promising them all sorts new socialist welfare benefits and rights in return for support and future votes.

More flustered than Elmer Fudd in the closing seconds of a Looney Tunes episode, President Joe Biden summoned his inner circle late last month to explain why his poll numbers were so dismal — and to ask them what they were doing to boost them. The scene, captured by the Washington Post’s Tyler Pager and printed as the lead story in the paper’s Monday edition (“Biden Upset By His Low Polling,” Dec. 18), has Biden bellyaching that his economic successes have failed to move the dial, and notes that the president has been complaining about this for some time. The great ignominy of Biden’s sagging popularity, writes Pager, is that

Capitol Hill isn't the only place panic is setting in about Joe Biden's 2024 prospects. The consternation is spreading broadly throughout the party, and according to a new report, it's completely warranted. According to far-left outlet Slate, which is loath to ever criticize a Democrat, Biden is facing the worst environment for an incumbent president since the Great Depression. Poll after poll shows the president's numbers plummeting to record lows. As President Joe Biden grows increasingly mystified by his unpopularity, he is also experiencing the worst polling of his presidency. This plummet was punctuated by last Thursday’s release of several Bloomberg/Morning Consult surveys showing him getting swept in a series
