Two of Donald Trump’s key election lawyers, Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell, surrendered Wednesday on charges in the Georgia election subversion case. The scene of Giuliani, the former New York City mayor and a notable former federal prosecutor, walking into the Fulton County jail is another amazing moment in the ongoing investigation into Trump and his efforts to overturn his 2020 election defeat. One of Trump’s most outspoken attorneys in 2020, Giuliani was charged with 13 crimes, including breaking the state’s racketeering act, engaging in various criminal conspiracies, and soliciting a public officer in the state to violate their oath.

So contesting a rigged election is now election subversion. Republicans need to remember that if they ever win another election.

Next thing they will indict will be the mice that live in the walls. I should be careful, they may indict me. I'd certainly hope so. I feel slighted that I'm not being indicted?? Or am I for being a concerned citizen???

The blackout fight between cable giant Charter Communications and Disney is over. Hours ahead of "Monday Night Football," which airs on Disney's ESPN, the companies reached a deal that would allow millions of Charter cable customers to watch the game. The deal will see Disney's ad-supported streaming apps Disney+ and ESPN+ included in packages for some of Charter's Spectrum pay-TV customers. Disney will receive an increase on the subscriber fees it receives from Charter. Earlier on Monday CNBC's David Faber reported a deal between the two companies was nearing and would include a discount on pricing for Disney streaming services for Charter customers.

As RedState reported, Gov. Glenn Youngkin pardoned Scott Smith, who was arrested for disorderly conduct after challenging a school board for covering up the rape of his daughter. In one of the biggest stories of 2021 and one that likely helped sweep Republicans into power in Virginia, Smith's daughter was raped in the girl's bathroom by a boy wearing a skirt. The Loudoun County school board, which had been pushing a then-new rule allowing "transgender" students to use the bathroom of their choice, sought to cover up the rape at multiple levels. Those motivations were confirmed by a grand jury report which revealed officials ignored multiple warning signs
Massachusetts Mayor Sounds Alarm on Migrant

The Democratic mayor of a small Massachusetts city is urging state lawmakers to reform a 40-year-old “right-to-shelter” law that is putting immense strain on the area as thousands of migrant families arrive. Woburn mayor Scott Galvin said by Friday there were about 150 families living in the city’s hotels, an arrangement he called unsustainable for his 40,000 constituents. Under the 1983 right-to-shelter law, Massachusetts officials are legally required to offer housing to any homeless families seeking shelter in the state. The law now covers a rising influx of migrant families, although individuals are not covered under its provisions.

As RedState reported, Joe Biden gave a presser for the ages in Vietnam on Sunday. This time, it wasn't just his senility and references to "dog-faced poney soldiers" that raised eyebrows, though. Instead, the big shocker was seeing Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House press secretary, walk out to take the mic from Biden mid-sentence, even as he was trying to answer more questions. To make things even more awkward, the president then remained on the stage, rambling away. No one could hear him, though, because of the aforementioned taking of his mic. It was bad. It was really, really bad. It was so bad that even

Mayor Adams warned Saturday that all New York City agencies may have to slash up to 15% from their budgets by the spring in response to the ever-rocketing costs of the migrant crisis. All departments were told they will need to slash 5% from their budget by November, amounting to a several billion dollar haircut from the city-funded portion of Adams’ $107 billion spending plan. But if the city doesn’t get enough financial aid from the Biden administration or state legislators by early next year, Adams warned additional 5% cuts could come in both January and April. “The simple truth is that longtime New Yorkers and asylum seekers will feel

New Mexico Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham's decision to declare a public health emergency and suspend concealed carry gun rights is being condemned on both sides of the political aisle. "I support gun safety laws," California Democrat Congressman Ted Lieu wrote on X, the platform previously called Twitter. "However, this order from the Governor of New Mexico violates the U.S. Constitution. No state in the union can suspend the federal Constitution. There is no such thing as a state public health emergency exception to the U.S. Constitution." Late Saturday, a gun rights group sued Grisham in federal court, alleging her emergency order is unconstitutional. The National Association for Gun Rights sued

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Fifteen seconds. That’s how long it took to turn Texas from an underachiever to a threat, from a program in the wilderness to a program that’s legitimately back. With 14:05 left in the fourth quarter, Texas was down against Alabama, 16-13, behind for the first time all game. Three plays and 15 seconds later, Texas was up 27-16 and in firm control. Alabama can attest: Texas is, most definitely, back. A "College GameDay" appearance plus a 6 p.m. local time kickoff meant the entire town had plenty of time to throw Horns Down at anyone daring to wear orange within Tuscaloosa city limits. Downward-facing horns showed up

New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham declared a public health emergency over "gun violence" on Thursday following the death of an 11-year-old boy. On Friday, she took the unprecedented step of "suspending" gun rights in Albuquerque, the state's largest city, with the possibility of other cities following suit. Gov. Lujan Grisham declared gun violence a public health emergency Thursday, following the murder of an 11-year-old boy on his way home from an Isotopes game Wednesday night. That case, combined with several other violent cases involving children, sparked the decision. The new public health order is effective Friday, Sept. 8. After 30 days, they will evaluate

Elon Musk’s social media platform formerly known as Twitter has sued the state of California over a law requiring social media companies to publish their policies for removing offending material such as hate speech, misinformation and harassment. The first-of-its-kind legislation was signed into law a year ago by California Gov. Gavin Newsom. In a lawsuit filed Friday against state Attorney General Robert Bonta, X Corp. challenges the “constitutionality and legal validity” of the law, saying it violates the First Amendment. The California law requires social media platforms to post their content moderation policies — which they already do — and twice a year submit a report

WASHINGTON — A Ukrainian official slammed Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk for ordering engineers to shut off Starlink's satellite network over Crimea last year in order to thwart a Ukrainian attack on Russian warships. According to a new biography of Musk, the South African-born billionaire asked, "How am I in this war?" during an interview with author Walter Isaacson. In the early days of Russia's unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, as Western governments worked to supply Kyiv with artillery and air defense systems, the first of Musk's Starlink terminals arrived in the country. The billionaire eventually soured on the arrangement. "Starlink was not meant to be involved in wars.

A federal appeals court ruled Friday that the Biden administration likely violated the First Amendment by pressuring social-media platforms to censor posts about Covid-19 and elections. The Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruling says that the White House likely “coerced the platforms to make their moderation decisions by way of intimidating messages and threats of adverse consequences.” The panel of three judges found that the administration “significantly encouraged the platforms’ decisions by commandeering their decision-making processes, both in violation of the First Amendment.”

A federal judge in Georgia has denied former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows' bid to move his Fulton County election interference case to federal court. "Having considered the arguments and the evidence, the Court concludes that Meadows has not met his burden," Judge Steve Jones wrote in a 49-page order filed Friday. Meadows had sought to have his case moved based on a federal law that calls for the removal of criminal proceedings brought in state court to the federal court system when someone is charged for actions they allegedly took as a federal official acting "under color" of their office.

This book is a poisonous political diatribe from beginning to end. King, America’s premier storyteller of the past 50 years, has never hidden his left-wing political bias. But before the mess that is Holly, King kept himself in check, never making politics central to his story nor demonizing those who do not share his ideology by using fact patterns unmoored from any sort of reality. With Holly, King has jumped the shark.
