Who Will Say No More to the Current Madness?

Original Article

Britain slept in the 1930s as an inevitable war with Hitler loomed. A lonely Winston Churchill had only a few courageous partners to oppose the appeasement and incompetence of his conservative colleague Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain. One of the most stalwart truth-tellers was a now little remembered politico and public servant Leo Amery, a polymath and conservative member of Parliament. Yet in two iconic moments of outrage against the Chamberlain government’s temporizing, Amery galvanized Britain and helped end the government’s disastrous policies.

VDH, even if I or some one like me stood up like Amery (and you can forget any politician doing this), I would be destroyed. And then lied about by the MSM. The time for lone voices is long past. Massive crowds are the only way forward now.

People aren't starving or have no fuel to really get their attention right now. Still plenty to eat and though very expensive, gas is still available. At some point in the not to distant future, their will be a very severe collapse of the food and fuel chains. When that happens, and it will, then you will see all the people who make this country work, suddenly realize that their very survival and most importantly, their children's lives are in extreme jeopardy. Only then will the real taking back of our country by the real Americans begin. Too may fat people right now. When they can't get enough to eat and start starving, look out. The communist death democrats don't realize the fire they are playing with and how badly they will get burned. Mortally.

I'm sorry, but I don't see how we get out this insane asylum and back to reality without some sort of violence. I hope we can find a peaceful way through it, but we are endlessly attacked by antifa thugs in any places where people try to reverse this. The FBI investigates parents trying to take back control of their school boards, calling them "terrorists" for wanting to vote on school board members. No matter how much we try to be peaceful, they seem to be pushing violence on us. It seems to be difficult to avoid it.

I agree with VDH on nearly everything but his opposition to arming Ukraine as it struggles against an invasion by an authoritarian, fascist state. That is exactly what our weapons are for. And as I do not perceive Mexican or Canadian armies massing on our border for an invasion of the United States, I cannot think of a better use for our weapons than to take down a regime that has declared itself an adversary. Because America's wars are electives. And we fight them on foreign soil, for outcomes that whether we win or lose, have no effect on daily life in America whatsoever. So what is he proposing we save up for? Another Iraq? A Russia sent home in humiliation and defeat will positively influence world events for the next century, and will pay dividends far beyond whatever we spend today.

History has not been fair to Chamberlain. He lived in a country where the veterans from WWI still walked the streets (many in wheelchairs, many missing limbs, many unemployable). Unlike our Vietnam War, the rich and educated young men of England flocked to enlist in the war, many of them never to return. Their generation was decimated and Chamberlain did not think England would tolerate a similar fate for the current generation. His intentions were good, but he failed to realize the evil that was Hitler.

Oh come on, VDH! You cannot be that dim. You know our Leo Amery is right in front of your face and has, in fact, begun the fight to drag this country back into some semblance of what it was. He has been a voice crying in the wilderness since 2015. Then in 2016, he had the power to begin our march away from the corrupt Washington DC madness where little was done there to make the country what it once was. Trump was determined to make the country great again. His policies worked! We experienced it, remember? I would like to know what these intellectuals have against President Trump. It appears that they believe he is uncouth and loutish. I will give you that to come extent but he can get the job done. Does his experience in both foreign and domestic policies mean nothing? What President has worked as hard, kept his promises, and pulled this country out of the doldrums caused by a self-serving Republican class and radicalized democrat party? You may not want Donald Trump as President again, but you need him as President. VDH has much influence in this country and I hope he would use it to support President Trump. His fellow intellectuals whose bias against Trump comes from his personality, surely cannot ignore his success. They have to see that they can trust him to do right by this country, he’s proven that. It is sad and disappointing that the wizards of smart are so easily put off by someone who they feel is too common, too boastful, too blunt. These are inconsequential traits compared with the success you know he will bring or die trying. No one is as committed to pulling this country back from the brink of destruction than Donald J. Trump. They know it, but just can’t get past his personality. How shallow is that?

I am very tired of politics and the madness. I found this footnote in my Life Application Bible and here it is: Coping With Competition "Overcoming the natural tendencies of a competitive spirit takes supernatural intervention. It must be a constant petition to God. A competitive spirit is often fed by a dissatisfied spirit. If we learn to accept God’s place and plan for us, we won’t need to compare ourselves with someone else. Having developed the use of gifts with humble service as our goal, we will be able to serve quietly without envying. We will be able to work in the church nursery in a spirit of service and contentment rather than wishing we were gifted like the person who leads a large Bible class. Servants in either situation can feel confident and grateful for the opportunity to serve God wherever he has placed them. The bottom line may be our willingness to forget about who gets the glory for our service – ourselves or God. Certainly, when we learn to hand the bouquets back to God, we won’t need to compare ourselves with anyone else." Politics has become very competitive and God is usually left out of all of it. People don't want to offend anyone and, as a result, politics has become self-serving and classless. Very immature. We also have a political party base that is actively trying to take God out of society and has attached itself to not only self-serving but self-pleasuring tactics. I can honestly say I am disgusted with all of it.

By the way, so much of the leadership in DC seek identities and approval from everyone around them that they lose out on one very important thing. God should get the accolades and applause not themselves. You can always tell the people who are thumping their chests and in the constant "look at me" mode. . .

Sadly, we will finally say no to the madness - but not until after our quality of life and freedoms are removed such as - cell phone use is restricted, access to our bank accounts is restricted, we embrace central bank digital currency, access to gasoline for our cars is restricted, ecar use becomes mandatory, access to natural gas and electricity to our homes is restricted, we forfeit our guns, eat bugs, we agree to behave and vote lefty, and we agree to having a microchip installed into our foreheads for identification and surveillance. In exchange, we will be allowed to continue breathing, unless our social credit score gets to low from misbehavior, that is.

The madness isn't going to stop. In 2008, the United States elected Obama. In 2016, the United States elected Trump. Two things became evident in those elections. The first was people are sick and tired of Washington, business as usual, politics, and elected outsiders. The second thing is the voting public is going in polar opposite directions. Obama was bought. Washington gave Obama what he wanted in return for Obama giving Washington what they wanted. In the end, you saw a marriage made in hell between the globalists and the left. Trump, on the other hand, had a different agenda, could not be bought, and was forced out. We ended up with a corrupt criminal tyrannical feebleminded fool for a President, and between 70 and 80 million people were dumb enough to vote for him. Can one person turn this country around? Nope. Look what the Washington crowd did to Trump. We now know how badly the Washington crowd will hold onto power. They will divide, control, kill, and destroy to stay in power. They will not go quietly. Seriously doubt they can be forced out as well if they can get 70 to 80 million supporters. This only changes when Washington loses all its support, and the Washington crowd has nowhere to hide.

One more thing - the left thinks its objective is to separate us from Trump and, voila, Amerika is theirs. The left is mistaken. Even if something were to happen to Trump, our values, morality, and spirituality and belief in God, our Heavenly Father, and commitment to the United States of America, as founded, remains intact. As far as we are concerned, our desire to forge ahead with America, the Constitutional Republic it is, will remain quite intact. So, lefties, go ahead and chew on this for a while. Your obsession with Trump is the least of your problems.

Four cardinal rules of politics: 1) don’t change your opponent’s soiled diapers; 2) scandals possess short half-lives; 3) don’t strike before having the votes; 4) play your best cards last. Political change occurs glacially. Those lacking necessary patience stymie those who comprehend politics’ rules. Conservatives braying for Biden’s head have no idea how to effectuate political objectives. This same mindset -- wisely opposed by Chief Justice Rehnquist -- demanded Bill Clinton be impeached. What did that accomplish? How did the nation benefit in terms of lasting impacts on economics, foreign affairs, or legislative action? (Bush 43 would have subsequently been elected anyway, for other reasons.)

Ever since the end of June, Americans in the media have been chattering about the implications of the Supreme Court ruling in Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard. This case, in which several Asian-American students sued the university for racial discrimination, ended with the court ruling for the plaintiffs and banning race-based preferences in college admissions. Already people have had time to argue every question under the sun — is what happened good or bad? More important than most people think, or less important? How aggressively will lower courts enforce it? And so forth.

Judge Tanya Chutkan, the D.C. federal district court's hanging-ist judge when it comes to the January 6 cases, was (quite coincidentally, I'm sure) assigned to Donald Trump's case after Jack Smith essentially indicted him for believing that the November 2020 election was rife with fraud. (That's a belief, apparently, available only to Democrats following elections.) The fact that Chutkan hates January 6 defendants doesn't mean she's anti-Trump. However, Julie Kelly has revealed a trial transcript in which Chutkan openly states her belief that Trump should be in jail. Judges are obligated to abide by rules of conduct and, no matter the jurisdiction.

Insurance actuaries were the first to notice an unprecedented rise in life insurance claims among the healthiest sector of society: working-age people with group life insurance policies. Dr. Pierre Kory writes about the obscene (my word, not his) suppression of discussion and research on this epidemic of death “on the scale of a war or terrorist event” in an article in USA Today and a “longer, less-politically edited version” on Substack. Both essays were co-written Mary Beth Pfeiffer, who first had the idea and did the original research.

In Edgar Allan Poe's short story, "The Masque of the Red Death," a group of nobles wall themselves off from the surrounding country to avoid a devastating plague. Seemingly secure inside their fortified castle, the "elites" live in a state of luxurious indulgence, indifferent to the people suffering beyond their gates. While they throw lavish parties, the rest of their countrymen die miserable deaths. Eventually, however, the "Red Death" finds its way into their "safe space" and eviscerates their fantasy. And because the aloof aristocrats are trapped inside a fortress of their own making, they soon perish.

Fifty years ago, in 1973, a cross-cultural phenomenom occurred. A Spanish folk group from the Basque region lost the Eurovision contest to singer from Luxembourg, who sang a lesser-remembered tune: “Tu Te Reconnaitras,” thus proving that cultural contests are often worthless barometers of taste. The runner-up loser was the group Mocedades which sang “Eres Tú.” Within months the losing, but quite catchy, tune became a worldwide phenomenom. It reached number 9 on the U.S. charts, which was amazing, given our American tendency to live in a bubble of monolingualism. Some translated versions were made, and they were just pitiful.

Many casual political observers have been wondering about why the Georgia republican apparatus, including Brian Kemp, doesn’t just get involved and shut down the nonsense coming from Fulton County and political prosecutor Fani Willis. It’s an understandable reference point and curiosity, but if you understand Georgia republican politics you understand why the political leadership actually support Fani Willis.Republican and Democrat politics is a club structure. Factually, voters are irrelevant in the system the two private corporations have constructed.

Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is rising in the polls as a result of his fresh approach to politics as well as his youthful appeal and said that he would welcome being mentored by former President Donald J. Trump if he wins next year’s election. The 38-year-old biotech entrepreneur talked with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on this week’s edition of “Sunday Morning Futures” on the day after he showed off his entertainment skills by breaking into a rap routine with an Eminem song during his “Fire-Side Chat” with Hawkeye State Governor Kim Reynolds at the Iowa State Fair.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott on Monday told an Australian woman complaining about "too many American flags" to go back to her country in response to a video of her posted to social media. TikTok user Mia Chloe, who goes by the username @meanderwithmia, often posts about "Traveling the world on a budget & no brain cells," according to her account page. In a video posted several days ago, she called out the abundance of American flags she observed in her travels to the United States. "I'm just going to say it. There are too many American flags. They're on houses. They're on cars. Some are on couch cushions," she said.

Folks, now you know it. I know it. Everyone with a brain knows it. Even Democrats (deep down) know it. The 2020 election was stolen. The debate is over. How do I know? Because both the feds and Georgia just indicted our President for talking about, questioning, and trying to investigate a stolen election. When the communist thugs, bullies and tyrants make it a crime to question a stolen election, in a country built around free speech, it’s 100% proof they stole the election. There is a perfect precedent. In the NFL. The game was called “The Miracle in the Meadowlands.” Everything about that fixed game reminds me

Never in the 235 years since the ratification of the Constitution has an administration premeditatively and blatantly prosecuted, on specious and conjecturable charges, the titular leader of the opposition party and leading candidate for president. And doing so while overtly flaunting their egregious actions to protect and cover-up for the incumbent president who has been exposed as potentially complicit in massive bribery and fraud. In any previous election cycle, these overt and unabashed actions would have been the death knell for the incumbent president’s campaign and his party.

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) has surpassed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) in the critical early presidential primary state of New Hampshire, according to an Emerson College survey released Tuesday. Christie leapfrogged DeSantis for second place in the Granite State, garnering 9 percent support. DeSantis’s support, on the other hand, fell to 8 percent from 17 percent in March. Christie’s 1-point lead over DeSantis falls within the poll’s plus-or-minus 3.4 percent margin of error.
