Bedminster, New Jersey — Former President Donald Trump, the leading GOP candidate for president in 2024, told Breitbart News exclusively that while he has not yet made a decision on whether or not he will attend the fast-approaching August 23 first GOP primary debate in Milwaukee, he thinks it would be “sort of foolish” and even possibly “stupid” to do so. The reason, he said, is because his significant polling lead gives him a large advantage over other candidates, but the debate moderators are from a “hostile network”—Fox News—that has overtly attempted to help failing candidates for the GOP nomination against him and those “hostile people” on stage could use

Exactly, Mr. President. I've long thought those debates are hit pieces on republicans. Avoid them all until the end when the democrat candidate has been chosen.

After that set-up with Brett & Meghan I wouldn't go anywhere near a fox debate.

I think that Trump should challenge DeSantis to a one on one debate at the same time as the Fox News debate. No moderator, just opening statements, questions to each other, and closing statements.
There would be a larger audiance for that than anything that Fox could arrange.

He's correct, AGAIN. Fox is a hostile channel.

When has Trump ever been afraid of anything? As for Fox, I watched a lot of Fox today, and everyone is upset about the latest indictments.

Most Fox people can't be blamed for the despicable behavior of the Murdochs and Paul Ryan but Meghan Kelly nearly ended her career for trying to pull a gotcha on Donald Trump. She appears to be maturing these days.

I agree with Trump, he doesn't need the debate, let the others try to tear each other down, and when they try to do the same with him, it will only booster his poll numbers.

Remember the criminally irresponsible Bret Baier calling Arizona well before the polls closed! Goddamn his evil soul to the hell it so richly deserves!

I am not watching the debate. I will wait for the interesting clips to make it to social media. Fox is not what it was and in my opinion is unwatchable. I do like some of the talent, but I cannot abide to put one dollar into the pockets of the Murdochs.

So many of these clowns on Fox still believe the election of 2020 was on the up and up even with each passing month more and more evidence of voter fraud has been uncovered. The latest idiot is Kudlow. Kudlow's economic views are right on, but anyone with more than two brain cells to rub together has to see that the 2020 election was full of fraud. Just because everyone in D.C. including the Supreme Court threw out attempts to bring a case of fraud to court, doesn't mean fraud wasn't rampant in the election. The attempt to bring cases at the end of 2020 were too early after the election for the overwhelming proof to have been discovered and presented. It's taken years to amass the evidence that election fraud had taken place.

Now, now, #5, this has nothing to do with fear, and you know it. It’s purely practical on President Trump’s part.
