Bud Light has been branded 'desperate' after releasing a new advert showing men aggressively 'grunting' The embattled beer giant released a new 15-second spot on Sunday showing Kelce cracking open Bud Light cans and aggressively grunting with several other men. The advert was a clear marketing U-turn after backlash to the company's previous collaboration with trans star Dylan Mulvaney devastated the brand financially. However, the effort has failed to gain traction after it was posted to YouTube, picking up just 2,500 viewers in over 24 hours following its release. The new advert, titled 'Backyard Grunts with Travis Kelce'

On display in my basement bar is an unopened bottle of Budweiser America. It was marketed back around 2000 when they understood their customers.
Now the .2% of the population that celebrates perversity can display their Dylan cans, while business schools can teach how to completely destroy a good company.

Keep right on digging, Anheuser Busch! Elemental men grunting while swilling beer flavored water, tranny brew. Yeah, that's the ticket. Do something that you think is forcefully masculine while endorsing the least masculine brewery product. Unh unh! Nothing short of a groveling appy-polly-loggy for the Mulvaney campaign will suffice, and unless I'm very wrong, AB don't have the class to do that. Let's go Brendan.

A-B continues to look for a one size fits all solution. Their loyal customers are angry off at them, the trans community is angry off at them, and the investment community requires them to embrace the ESG score concept. Such a solution does not exist. They have to choose and live with it.

“For a company to hire a trans person and then not publicly stand by them is worse than not hiring a trans person at all.” Dylan Mulvaney, Bud Light Spokes____
Throwing money ($15 to $25 million is my guest) at an already rich NFL player won’t bring back boycotting beer drinkers. AB has shot itself in both feet for reasons that neither they nor anyone with common sense can explain. Only benefit from this disaster is that it might keep 100 to 150 of the Fortune 500 companies from imitating AB, Target, Molson Coors, Coca Cola and other large corporations which are run by Democrats.

Imagine fancying yourself smart enough to run a major beer brand but not understanding how much competition there is to produce watery beer. The arrogance is staggering.

We've reached the point in Bud marketing of " Throw it all against the wall and PRAY something sticks"
Sorry Bud, your grunting guys DON"T LIKE TRANNIES. Take the hit and find somebody else who'll buy your beer.

I don't see how this can be remedied for Bud. The name and brand are destroyed. I don't even think a new name for the beer with new packaging would work. This has to be affecting the entire Bud brand. Buying Budweiser now seems almost like an un-American act.

Amazing. I am not defending either side, but, reading so many posts here and on other sites indicates too many people don't know the facts of this debacle and are spouting opinions and denigrating people for their personal tastes.
It is little wonder there is so much division in the country
Happy Birthday USA

It might be too late for Bud, but hopefully other companies will take note.

FTA: "For a company to hire a trans person and then not publicly stand by them is worse than not hiring a trans person at all."
Well, actually they would be much better off if they did not hire the trans person in the first place. Terrible logic from Mulvaney.

As expected. After insulting its entire Bud Light customers with celebrations of Trannies, now Bud Light makes fun of the ad worlds' boogey man, the white male. Can advertisers get away form make white males look like bungling morons for just one ad? Oh, they did throw in a quota to satisfy the ad world's quota inclusion criteria. Of course he is the 'hero' smart enough to open the Bud Light.

These people are completely disconnected from reality.
Why didn't they just have some 'red-neck good ol' boys' sitting in lawn chairs with their cans of bud, belching and farthing and complaining about all the (n word here) in sports these days?
It would have been less offensive.

Dos Equis sold their beer to the most interesting men in the world:
"HIS BLOOD SMELLS LIKE COLOGNE. HIS HANDS FEEL LIKE RICH, BROWN SUEDE. THE POLICE OFTEN QUESTION HIM, JUST BECAUSE THEY FIND HIM INTERESTING. HE IS….THE MOST INTERESTING MAN IN THE WORLD! "
Budweiser first tried selling to ladyboys while alienating their primary customers and now to grunting Neanderthals, with apologies to Neanderthals. They will be a whole chapter in marketing textbooks under "how not to."
