Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi began a five-day tour of Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua, three Latin American countries governed by authoritarian, anti-Western regimes. Raisi’s three predecessors all visited the region previously, and Iran’s alliances with local authoritarians are not new. But this time, the strategic landscape is different. In 2023, China, Russia, and Iran are all chipping away at what used to be primarily uncontested U.S. influence. Raisi has come to claim Iran’s share in the spoils.

It's the Americans' fault that these countries are going to the other side. For decades all our government and CIA did was to incite revolutions, meddle in their politics, give weapons to guerillas and exploit these countries for their natural resources, which included drugs. A Green Beret friend of mine spent most of his career down there in the jungle.

I don't know that the US actually has true friends/allies in South and Central America. Those that are, are probably more afraid of not being attached to the US. We have a very very long history of military intervention and meddling in "our sphere" of influence. Canada barely tolerates us.

Our "friends" were bought with our money and aegis for a century. We are in obvious decline monetarily and militarily. Our leadership is feckless and our values "hoped and changed" and no longer respected.. The president of El Salvador rven said the US has lost its moral standing in the world. Our parasitic "friends" have no loyalty and are seeking new hosts When daddy takes the T Bird away phony friends show their true alligiance.

Barack Obama has used a stolen social security number most of his adult life. The one he uses was issued on March 28, 1977 to someone living in Connecticut, born in 1890 and is now long deceased. Obama was fifteen years old that day, living in Hawaii and playing on the junior varsity basketball team at Punahou. I uncovered the SSN information and include it in my memoir The Rubbish Hauler’s Wife versus Barack Obama. Obama violated federal law by using a phony number. From the United States Code: “Identity theft laws under 18 U.S.C § 1028 makes it a crime to misuse someone’s identifying information,

One of the key takeaways from the recent midterm elections was that Republicans need to continue making gains in pre-Election Day voting. Despite what the mainstream media might say, Republicans did have an apparatus to encourage pre-Election Day voting and ballot harvesting last cycle and guess what – we were pretty good at it. In states like Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Montana, North Carolina and New Hampshire, Republicans had a higher ballot return rate than Democrats. Yes, you read that right. Even in states like Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, Republicans closed the ballot return rate gap within a 1-point margin.

If there is any one indicator that those comprising the political establishment are nothing more than self-interested wannabe celebrities, you’d be hard-pressed to determine whether it is their over-the-top infatuation with big time actors and reality television personalities, or their devotion to the high life, despite their failure to legitimately earn it. Nearly two months ago, an organization called Global Citizen held a ritzy, star-studded anti-poverty function in New York City, an event at which Canada’s Justin Trudeau can be seen next to Hollywood heavyweight Hugh Jackman in an embarrassing display of fanboy-ism; see the tweet below

Institutional trust is built over the course of years. Decades. Centuries. Dishonesty takes just a moment to destroy institutional trust. This week, Dr. Peter Hotez, dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine and professor of molecular virology at Baylor College of Medicine, got into a spat with podcaster Joe Rogan and presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Hotez has a long-standing feud over vaccine efficacy and safety with RFK Jr., who has long been a proponent of the scientifically unverified theory that childhood vaccines cause autism; RFK Jr., appearing on Rogan's podcast, tore into Hotez. Hotez responded by accusing Rogan of spreading "misinformation"

U.S. Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) joined Martha MacCallum on Fox News Channel Wednesday afternoon to react to a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing that took place earlier in the day focused on "Pride" as the Democrat-controlled upper chamber looks to continue signaling its virtue to the "jokesters," as Kennedy likes to call them. The good senator said the hearing titled "Protecting Pride: Defending the Civil Rights of LGBTQ+ Americans" was filled with "a sort of Alice in Wonderland weirdness" that included testimony from a Democrat's witness claiming the existence of "three biological sexes and an infinite number of genders." "I've heard better answers on 'The Dating Game,'" Kennedy quipped.

Famed Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling caused a stir on Twitter after Elon Musk announced that the terms "cis" and "cisgender" would be considered slurs on the platform. In Twitter post, Rowling — who has sparked controversy and even boycotts for her comments on sexual orientation in the past — said that "cis" is an "ideological language" and "the rest of us have a right to disagree." "'Cis' is ideological language, signifying belief in the unfalsifiable concept of gender identity," Rowling wrote Wednesday, June 21. She added: "You have a perfect right to believe in unprovable essences that may or may not match the sexed body,

Wokeness was envisioned as a new reboot of the coalition of the oppressed Those purportedly victimized by traditional America would find "intersectional" solidarity in their victimhood owing to the supposed sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, and other alleged American sins, past and present. The so-called white male heterosexual victimizing class was collective to be held responsible for their sinful triad of white "rage," "supremacy," and "privilege." Class considerations became passe. The Duchess of Sussex, and the billionaires Oprah Winfrey and LeBron James, shared grievances against all whites, whether they hailed from Martha's Vineyard or impoverished East Palestine, Ohio.

Gershkovich, 31 — who was arrested during a reporting trip to Yekaterinburg, Russia in late March — looked tense in a black T-shirt and blue jeans during the run-up to the proceedings at Moscow City Court. The Pentagon revealed on Tuesday that an overestimation in the value of weapons sent to Ukraine over the past two years has resulted in an extra $6.2 billion of U.S. taxpayers’ money earmarked for the Eastern European country. This figure is approximately double what was originally estimated and allegedly will be utilized for future security packages. Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh provided clarification on the nature of the error, explaining that the military services had used the replacement cost rather than the book value of equipment pulled from Pentagon stocks and sent to Ukraine.

Washington Democrats were surprised that Native Americans were not rejoicing with them when Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland seized control of the Navajo Nation land surrounding the Chaco Culture National Park in northwest New Mexico. They were shocked when members of the Navajo Nation kept Secretary Haaland from celebrating her actions at Chaco. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott vetoed more than 75 bills before Sunday night’s deadline, mostly sponsored by conservative Texas state senators. Never before in the 178-year history of Texas has its governor vetoed so many bills passed by his own party. Texas Republicans would override most of these vetoes if they could, but the legislature was required by the state constitution to adjourn in May until 2025. Tens of thousands of hours of work that went into all these bills were washed away by Abbott’s retaliatory strike against conservatives. One of the bills that Gov. Abbott vetoed was SB 335, authored by conservative state Sen. Dr. Charles Schwertner (R-Georgetown).

The US Navy revealed that they knew the Titan submersible, which was diving to see the remains of the Titanic wreck, imploded on Sunday. We have sonar detection and acoustic networks for our national defense, and this classified system picked up the moment when this craft and the five people inside it perished. So, why did we waste an inordinate amount of time rushing to rescue people some in the government knew to be dead? The Coast Guard, Canadian military units, and unmanned submersibles from France that can go to these extreme depths joined the rescue effort that covered at least 10,000 square miles.
