We are now enduring the usual competing ads from another primary election. A trend has developed in Republican primaries that sees candidates call each other "RINOs" (Republicans in Name Only). An incumbent GOP candidate insists that his challenger is a RINO. The challenger says the same thing about the incumbent. In Pennsylvania, these ads feature grainy photos of the opposing GOP candidates next to grainy photos of Joe Biden or Democrat governors Wolf and Shapiro. Republicans argue over who are the "real" RINOs. These accusations appear in local races as much as congressional and Senate contests.

Donald Trump is actively running against Rinos, which implies he rejects the votes of moderates, independents, and disaffected Democrats. It would be interesting to know how he intends to win the general election.

I just figure they’re all guilty until proven innocent. I like Gaetz, MTG. I’d like to see Jordan and Grassley draw blood, but as someone said recently, “The wheels uf Justice grind slow.”

Not sure what your basis is for that conclusion, #1. Donald Trump received more votes from those demographics than any other Republican running for president since Ronald Reagan.

The State Republican Parties are the genuses for the Republican RINO establishment in DC. The Democrats would not tolerate any such political deviation with their congressional delegation or political operation. So as long as the State Republican Parties keep nominating RINOS to represent their States in Congress, RINOS will keep showing up in DC to effectively side with the Democrats and sabotage legitimate Conservative Republican functions and pending legislation. When the State Republican Parties nominate RINOS for elected office in the Congress, they eliminate the chance for the legitimate conservative Republican base in their States to vote for legitimate conservative Republican candidates, giving them the choice to vote for either a RINO candidate on the State Republican ticket or usually a leftist, progressive, or socialist Democrat candidate on the State Democrat ticket.

Considering the flaccid, pathetic state of the RNC and mainstream, ineffective Republican politicians in general, maybe we're the real "RINO's."

MTG is dead to me. She is (or was) a deep cover RINO. I suspected such after all of her inconsistent positions on various topics.

1, he'll win the general election the way way he did last 2 times, by having more legal votes.
If the fraud continues then it doesn't matter who runs anyway.

Another Mister Obvious article. Another word for RINO is "professional politician."

If a person has been in Washington DC for six years or more and professes to be a Republican they are most likely to be a RINO.

We got a lot of them in the Texas House. Sadly, my representative is one of them. But he sure delivers for his friends and handlers.

Just call your opponent something YOU ARE and make them backpeddle to explain how they are not a RINOcrat.
We've seen a variation of this deceptive tactic by trying to tag an opponent as not a "TRUE" Texan-- and those radicals who were elected from that group have tried to break the County party structure behind the scenes.
Still a TON of resentment because Don Huffines and Lt. Col Allen West did not defeat Governor Abbott in the primary to force a runoff, and this going to become a continuing problem. People wand ACTION and government is typically very slow, and the way the Legislative process works in Texas, it "slows down" radical proposals.
One of the biggest problems would seem to be the Speaker Dad Phelan appointing Demonrat to be Chairs of committees which KILL bills by not bringing them up in committee for votes, for stalling sending things to the "calendars" committee to bring them up for votes.
Now we will end up with several special sessions whichthe Governor directs the agenda items to FORCE them to take action on important items which were not passed in the regular term while Mr.Phelan has a stake in taking out AG Ken Paxton who called him out for being intoxicated during the Lege's business!
