What even is satire anymore? At some point, reality will become so absurd that it will render satire an anachronistic relic of the before-times, when some semblance of societal sanity made satire possible.
We may have already crossed that Rubicon.
Exhibit A is the argument that waking up early is actually White Supremacy™.
Personally, I don’t spend much time on Medium these days since the platform kicked me off for either “COVID misinformation” or “transphobia” (I honestly don’t remember which anymore, but I got warnings for both of those things before they finally suspended my account permanently). However, this little ditty came my way recently from Anthony Bernardi,

A silence kept in order to hide the truth is a lie. By that maxim, there are plenty of liars among prominent Democrats who knew that the damning Trump-Russia collusion narrative was all a hoax. But they chose to remain mum, preferring instead to watch contentedly as an American president was vilified nonstop by a media-driven orgy of lies. It consumed the nation for years and inflicted untold harm. None of them had the decency to volunteer the truth.
This is one of the key findings in the 306-page Durham report that the special counsel filled to the brim with documented acts of deviousness, dishonesty and malice by high officials

Former deputy National Security Advisor K.T. McFarland, who worked for General Michael Flynn – unjustly forced from office, offers a chilling and highly realistic view of what we face: a coup by the deep state that they are planning to repeat in 2024 because they don't want their crimes prosecuted by a Republican president and AG.
Speaking with Maria Bartiromo on her Fox Business Network program, McFarland laid out the grim reality that, strangely, does not bother any of the people who rage about “protecting democracy” from Donald Trump. Kanekoa The Great summarizes her views and presents a two-and-a-half minute clip of her. I urge you to watch the whole thing,

Hillary Clinton weighed in on concerns surrounding President Biden's age, saying it's a legitimate issue and "people have every right to consider it."
Clinton made the under-the-radar comments on Saturday at the Financial Times Weekend Festival in Washington, D.C., when questioned about Biden stumbling at the G7 Summit in Japan.
"There was that heart-stopping moment when he almost fell over coming down the stairs a day or two ago," Financial Times editor Edward Luce said. "He didn't use a railing, and Jill wasn't there with him.
"Every time that happens, your heart is in your mouth because these things could be consequential. Is that a concern?" he asked.

A Maricopa County judge on Monday night handed former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake another loss in her latest election lawsuit. (snip) She faced her latest courtroom loss after Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Peter Thompson rejected her claims that Maricopa election officials improperly verified the signatures on thousands of ballots, tilting the outcome in the state's largest county that is home to Phoenix against her.

Democratic North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper declared a "state of emergency" on Monday in an attempt to stop a school choice bill from passing the state legislature. Cooper released a video announcement where he declared a state of emergency, arguing that the state of public education is "no less important" than other emergencies.
"It’s time to declare a State of Emergency for public education in North Carolina. There’s no Executive Order like with a hurricane or the pandemic, but it’s no less important," Cooper stated.

The Biden administration announced Monday that seven western states had reached an agreement to conserve critical Colorado River system water supplies amid severe drought conditions. The agreement — reached by the so-called Lower Basin states of Arizona, California and Nevada — ensures that at least 3 million acre-feet (maf), or 978 billion gallons, of Colorado River water supplies are conserved by 2027, according to the Department of the Interior (DOI) which has worked with states to address shortages. Under the plan, at least half of that amount will be conserved by 2025.

The NAACP Board of Directors issued a statement on Saturday warning black Americans that the state of Florida was not a safe place for them and included an official “travel advisory” calling the state “openly hostile” – but the board’s chairman, Leon Russell, apparently lives in Florida himself. (snip) But Florida GOP Chairman Christian Ziegler quickly noticed that Russell, chairman of the NAACP’s Board of Directors, lived in Florida — and he offered a quick response.
“The CHAIRMAN of the @NAACP lives in Tampa, FLORIDA!” he tweeted. “True leadership is being willing to do what you ask others to do … time to step up and MOVE.”

A report today in Politico states the next Senate Leader, the heir to the McConnell legacy, John Thune, will be endorsing South Carolina Tim Scott for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination. This approach makes sense, because the modern Senate is a rogue division within the modern branches of government.
The modern Senate has unique corrupt interests that are specific to the upper chamber, and those interests must be defended from any possibility of diminished influence. The current U.S. senate does not consider themselves to be a co-equal branch, especially since they created the weaponized intelligence apparatus to give them greater power.

A recent CNN headline — "We don't have enough doctors" — is quite accurate. The explanation given for the M.D. shortage is completely wrong.
CNN notes the "health-care workforce shortage is 'more acute' in Black and brown communities." The black community represents 13 percent of the U.S. population, but only 5.7 percent of American physicians are black. The implication is clear: only black doctors should or can treat black patients or, at a minimum, will treat them properly.
This is racist dogma. The vast majority of American doctors (and nurses) are blind to skin color, religion, ethnicity, and even criminal behavior.

A report confirms that United States Senators have been issued emergency satellite phones.
CBS News reported these devices are part of a series of new security measures being offered to senators by Karen Gibson, Senate Sergeant at Arms.
The official line of reasoning behind offering the satellite phones was “to ensure a redundant and secure means of communication during a disruptive event.”
CBS News also notes that the satellite phones were offered partially in response to the January 6, 2021 protests at the U.S. Capitol.

It’s safe to say that at no time in human history have more people been better fed than are in our current era. So of course the left has to make sure that doesn’t continue.
John Kerry, the man who has almost perfected the art of looking down his nose at the commoners so very far beneath him, told a group of co-elitists at a recent climate summit that, in the words of a Reuters reporter, “cutting greenhouse gas emissions from agricultural production is essential to the global fight against climate change.”
In Kerry’s own words, he claimed “we can’t get to net zero, we don’t get this job done, unless agriculture
