Dennis Prager Is Dead Wrong About Pornography:
It’s Adultery, Not Adultery Prevention

Original Article

“Men want variety. … If pornography is a substitute for one’s wife, it’s awful. If it’s a substitute for adultery, it’s not awful.” These words came courtesy of one of the biggest conservative talk show hosts in America, Dennis Prager, in response to a porn question from Jordan Peterson during a discussion of Exodus for The Daily’s Wire’s eponymous series. Tweet (snip) . As Todd Friel of Wretched explains, Prager’s message is horrible for both men and women — first because it gives men permission to use porn, providing them an “out,” and second because it essentially tells wives they should be glad their husbands consume it.

Comments:

A window into Prager’s own mind? Men who need “variety” should skip marriage. Porn is for those interested in their own self-gratification and who prefer not having a relationship with a real live woman.

Dennis Prager is a great mind but I’d be lying if I said his answer doesn’t diminish my opinion of him.

And it is also exploitation. No woman with a sound sense of self would subject herself to that level of degradation. Prager, whom I previously respected without reservation, needs to rethink just how much suffering he is endorsing.

Mr. Prager, how you act is determined by what's in your heart. Just like sex education and birth control were sold as the way to prevent "unwanted babies," porn was sold as the way to prevent adultery. As every other Godless, leftist lie, it has backfired...or, was that the plan all along? BTW, why are leftists so obsessed with sex? You would think they invented it yesterday.

This is why the right will never be more than a fringe group. Too many people are absolutely terrified that someone, somewhere, might be enjoying themselves. There are much bigger issues for us to worry about than girlie pictures.

Prager is solid but why's he saying stupid stuff like that? Who talks like that? Is his wife "using pornography" to tolerate him? Would he like his daughter to churn out some of that helpful stuff? Porn addiction in fact destroys marriages. It can never be a positive good. Some intellectuals live too much in their head.

Prager is Jewish. He knows that the Jewish understanding of the 10th commandment restricts adultery as far as men are concerned to coveting or having sex with a woman who is either betrothed or married to another man. A Jewish man, whether married or not, who has sex with a woman who is neither betrothed nor married to another man is not committing adultery under Jewish teaching. While you might want to apply Jesus’s teachings to Prager’s words, that is not where Prager is coming from.

Yesterday I wrote that the real question regarding Deep State Mike Morrell’s testimony that throws Little Tony Blinken under the bus—blames him for the patent hoax claim that the Hunter laptop is a Russian disinformation op—is whether Morrell spilled the beans with Deep State blessing. The letter that Morrell orchestrated was an obvious hoax. The only question was who perpetrated the hoax—was it independent action by the Deep State, or … what? Morrell confirms that it was Deep State action at the direct behest of the Zhou campaign, through Blinken. And so the question is, Why now? There was no reason for Morrell to blab to the GOP House—he could’ve

An Arizona judge has rejected state Attorney General Kris Mayes’s attempt to terminate an agreement between Cochise County and the county recorder in a Thursday ruling. The agreement, which was drafted in February 2023, permits the Cochise County’s recorder to be granted control over “almost all of the powers and duties of the election conferred by statute upon the Cochise County Board of Supervisors,” the document states. After the initial agreement was written, Mayes filed a lawsuit in March on behalf of Arizona against the three Cochise County supervisors and the county recorder, citing that the agreement violates the Arizona Constitution and Arizona law, according to the documents filed.

On Thursday, Joe Biden vowed to give at least $1 billion of American taxpayers’ money to a climate fund at the United Nations, even though the fund has sent millions of dollars to China in the past. As reported by the Washington Free Beacon, Biden declared his support for the U.N.’s “Green Climate Fund” (GCF), claiming that the money his administration sends to the fund will support “developing countries in taking stronger climate action.” However, the U.N. still officially categorizes China as a “developing country,” thus making the Communist nation eligible to be one of the recipients of funding from the GCF.

The 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals on April 20 issued a temporary administrative hold on the return date of the House Judiciary Committee’s congressional subpoena to Mark Pomerantz, a former prosecutor at Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office. Pomerantz investigated former President Donald Trump’s finances before leaving Bragg’s office in February 2022 in protest of Bragg’s initial unwillingness to bring an indictment against Trump. Bragg then brought the indictment against Trump in late March, prompting Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), chair of the House Judiciary Committee, to initiate a probe into what Jordan calls a “politically motivated” prosecution against a former president.
