NASA and the Canadian Space Agency announced Monday the four astronauts who will partake in the next Artemis mission and fly around the moon. The Artemis II team will be made up of three Americans -- Victor Glover, Christina Hammock Koch and Reid Wiseman -- and one Canadian, Jeremy Hansen. The team includes Koch as the first woman and Glover as the first person of color who will eventually go on to step foot on the lunar surface. “ In total, the Artemis expedition includes four missions, each of which will cost roughly $4.1 billion. The project will cost up to $93 billion by 2025, according to an audit from the NASA Office of the Inspector General.” Why? Are we out of rocks? This makes little to no sense, and only something Biden would waste our money.

If memory serves, we did this (orbit the moon) when I was nearly ten years old. On a little flight called Apollo 8. But of course, that was three white guys, so it wasn’t done right.

The highlight of the Apollo 8 mission was Commander Jim Lovell reading from the book of Genesis on Christmas Eve as they orbited the moon. Six months later we landed men on the moon and did return them safely to the Earth, It was amazing.

#13, I well remember the Bible reading on Christmas Eve. I was still a teenager, but was filled with awe and pride! As a teenager, I kept saying "Wow, that's so cool"! over and over. It seemed so right for Christmas and the Crew's lives. I only wish that this could still be done today. I wonder if one of our wonderful astronauts would dare? Somehow, I think they would.

Addressing reporters during a press conference with Jewish leaders at the White House on Wednesday, Joe Biden appeared to confirm reports that Israeli babies had been found decapitated at Kibbutz Kfar Aza along the Gaza border after Hamas terrorists withdrew from the area. “I never really thought that I would see and have confirmed pictures of terrorists beheading children. I never thought I’d ever,” Biden said alongside a group of Jewish leaders. Several outlets reported earlier this week that the decapitated bodies of babies had been found at the kibbutz in Southern Israel by the Israeli military. House Republicans have chosen Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., as their nominee for speaker after huddling behind closed doors for over two hours on Wednesday. GOP lawmakers voted via secret ballot for who they will put up as speaker in a House floor vote, which will likely come sometime this week. It comes after former Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., was ousted in a vote by eight members of his own party and all House Democrats last week. That moment marked the first time in history the U.S. House of Representatives voted to remove its own leader. The contest to replace him quickly became a two-man race between

Come on, man, you may be tempted to respond. The US had known Hamas to be a client and proxy for the mullahs in Tehran for decades. Hamas even routinely brags about the support they get from Iran. They have relied on Iranian arms and munitions for their constant rocket attacks on Israel ever since the Israeli occupation of Gaza ended in 2005, an arms stream that forced Israel to put a policy of containment in place. So why investigate whether Iran’s revolutionary guard (IRGC) trained Hamas “militants,” as NBC News calls the barbaric terrorists? There may be a reason to “investigate” the obvious:

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defense chief and centrist opposition party leader Benny Gantz have agreed to form an emergency government, a joint statement from Gantz's National Unity party said on Wednesday. Terrorists from Islamist group Hamas invaded Israel from the Gaza Strip on Saturday in a surprise assault that killed at least 1,200 people, the deadliest Palestinian militant attack in Israeli history. Israel has responded with a massive bombardment of Gaza that has killed 1,055, and deployed thousands of troops around the enclave amid growing expectations it will launch a ground invasion to destroy Hamas.

Pioneer shareholders will receive 2.32 shares of Exxon for each Pioneer share they own. Exxon purchased XTO Energy in 2009 for approximately $36 billion. The Balticconnector gas pipeline was shut early on Sunday on concerns that gas was leaking from a hole in the 77-km (48-mile) pipeline.
