When Hutchinson said he thought Trump should withdraw from the race, I thought he would announce his run, and here we are. So predictable. Congrats, Hutch! You are the first politician to go there showing what a cheap opportunist you are. I wouldn't trust a thing Hutchinson would say after this. No way I would support him.

Of course Hutchinson’s entree into 2024 is a joke. He could be the first to withdraw after the primaries begin. What’s shocking is his call for Trump to withdraw, due to a New York fascist indicting him. Does dim bulb Ada want to live in a country where Democrats take out their opponents by indicting them for made up charges? Hutchinson is contemptible.

I don't think that anyone should be able to self select to run for POTUS. I think that there should be both Republican and Dimocraptic committees to test and see if all candidates are capable, intelligent and rational enough to be POTUS. There must be 50 or 100 people capable, intelligent and knowledgeable enough to be capable or suitable enough to run for POTUS during every election cycle. And then have foolproof and fraud proof voting processes. We're currently like a third world banana republic now. I'm old and The USA is in the worst and most embarrassing shape that I've ever seen it. I'm embarrassed, ashamed and frightened for our country right now.

Georgia’s Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is urging local law enforcement to prepare for possible indictments this summer in her 2020 election inquiry focused on former President Donald Trump and his allies. In a letter dated Monday to Fulton Sheriff Patrick Labat, the prosecutor said she will be “announcing charging decisions” resulting from her investigation during the Fulton County Superior Court’s fourth term of court, which spans July 11 and September 1. Willis spoke of the need for “heightened security and preparedness” as “open-sourced “intelligence indicated an announcement “may provoke a significant public reaction.”

The Biden administration is quietly preparing for the possibility that if Ukraine’s spring counteroffensive falls short of expectations, critics at home and allies abroad will argue that America has come up short, too. Ukraine’s ever-imminent counteroffensive will attempt to retake Russian-seized territory most likely in the east and south, though for operational reasons no senior officials from Kyiv have detailed specifics. Publicly, President Joe Biden’s team has offered unwavering support for Ukraine, pledging to load it up with weapons and economic aid for “as long as it takes.” But, if the impending fighting season yields limited gains, administration officials have expressed privately they fear being faced with a two-headed monster

Everybody is up in arms about Tucker Carlson’s and Fox News’ split. Lots of rumors regarding why it happened are floating around, and as with all breaking news stories you should wait for a bit before you trust anything anybody says. “Inside sources” or outright speculations are unreliable. Was it Dominion? Was it Tucker wanting to defend himself? Was it something else? I don’t know and only a small circle of people so far do. And even they will probably have diverging views. What interests me is how Tucker is a very different kind of media voice and one who can’t easily fit at any cable news station.

Since the start of Mr. Biden's presidency, Rice has led the domestic policy council, a powerful White House office overseeing a wide-ranging set of issues, from health care and gun control initiatives, to U.S. immigration and border policy. Rice served as national security adviser and United Nations ambassador under former President Barack Obama. In a statement, Mr. Biden praised Rice's tenure, highlighting her pivotal role in advancing his agenda.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom has directed the National Guard and California Highway Patrol to help combat San Francisco's fentanyl trafficking crisis. On Friday, Newsom announced an effort to have both agencies assist local authorities to address the rise in fentanyl use. The Biden administration is reportedly finalizing a proposal that would force fossil fuel-fired power plants to substantially curb emissions or utilize costly carbon capture technology. The proposal — which will soon be released by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) — is expected to require coal- and natural gas-fired power plants to cut or capture the vast majority of their carbon dioxide emissions by 2040, The New York Times reported on Saturday, citing officials briefed on a draft of the plan. The regulation, if finalized, would represent the first-ever federal action curbing power plant emissions. "EPA cannot comment because the proposals are currently under interagency review,"

Stanford University's Black Law Students Association will no longer help the university recruit black students after the law school's dean, Jenny Martinez, apologized in early March to Fifth Circuit appellate judge Kyle Duncan. The students cited what they described as the "scapegoating" of the school's diversity dean, Tirien Steinbach, for an incident last month in which students disrupted Duncan's remarks and Steinbach egged them on. "The apology was intimately aligned with White supremacist practices," the group's board wrote....

Don Lemon was terminated from his anchor role at CNN, he announced Monday. The news comes after Variety published a story earlier this month on allegations that he mistreated his female colleagues over the course of his career there. And earlier this year, he faced backlash over widely criticized comments he made on-air. Lemon announced the news on Twitter, saying he was informed by his agent that he was being terminated. "I am stunned," Lemon wrote. "After 17 years at CNN I would have thought someone in management would have had the decency to tell me directly."

The city has been marred by armed conflict between the army and a paramilitary group, prompting the need for the evacuation of embassy personnel. Old Joe Biden’s ghostwriters issued a statement Thursday to congratulate Muslims on Eid al-Fitr, the feast marking the end of the fasting-by-day-and-gorging-by-night month of Ramadan. Predictably, it was anodyne and obsequious in the extreme, with Biden celebrating how Muslims “decorate their homes, give gifts to loved ones, wear new clothes, and visit family and friends.” The faux president is made to add: “I am moved by the generosity that is shown from families that can provide food and give charity to those in need through Zakat-al-Fitr.” In the course of all this flattery, Biden’s writer drops in a serious note: there is now a U.S. government task force

The media love affair with the most suspicious person involved with the Left’s Jan. 6 hoax, Ray Epps, continues. On Sunday evening, 60 Minutes is planning to air a profile of Epps, a man whom they claim has been unjustly vilified in the conservative media. In doing so, they’re just calling new attention to the gaping holes in their Jan. 6 propaganda narrative. The Leftist political and media elites have been insisting ever since Jan. 6, 2021, that the disturbance at the Capitol on that day constituted an “insurrection,” an actual attempt to overthrow the government of the United States and, presumably, to install Donald Trump as a dictator.
