#1, I’m no fan of Santos, but how is he different from multiple Democrat House or Senate members — and even Biden? Omar married her brother in violation of multiple laws, to commit immigration fraud. Pocahontas? Saigon Blumenthal? Schiff? Mad Maxine? I’m not into pearl clutching these days. Democrats steal elections and we whine about fantastical fibs?

The Democrats will soon have enough Republicans to recuse themselves that the Democrats will be in charge of the House. The Republicans will agree to it.

So, we can elect a President of the United States who lied about his past, but not someone’s who lies on their resume? Do you know how many people lie on their resume?

I can't cite the cases, but the courts have generally held that campaign statements can presume to be untrue, and that is just the nature of politics. Therefore, voters should be careful when relying on such statements. LBJ, June, 1964, I will not send American boys to fight a vietnam boy's war. Good example of that.

they want Santos out because they already have a demcommie in the "on deck" circle ready to jump right in and the useful idiots who are he voting public in NYC are being played hugely and either don't know it or are willing conscripts - are these people using reverse knowledge collection with their gluteus muscles rather than the mass between their ears? if nothing else, Santos is on the repub side of the aisle in that sewer in D.C. so let's keep him around for a while or until he proves he's really not on the team

New audio files obtained by CBS News reveal how a congressional investigator pushed retired Lt. Gen. “Peace Corps/Peru has temporarily evacuated all volunteers to another Peace Corps post,” Blackwell said in an email. “The safety and well-being of Peace Corps volunteers is our top priority. We are closely monitoring the security situation with local partners on the ground and the U.S. Embassy in Lima.” A person familiar with the move, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss the sensitive withdrawal, said the volunteers are headed to the Peace Corps’ post in Ecuador. The decision comes after weeks of popular unrest against a government that has taken over following a failed December coup attempt by a Peruvian president facing impeachment.

It’s a state Democrats have been buzzing about for years as a battleground hotspot — one expected to draw in big spending on the presidential race, a marquee governor’s race and congressional elections that could tip the tightly divided House in 2024. But the party has never been able to push North Carolina into true tossup-state status like it has with Arizona or Georgia. Democrats haven’t won the state’s electoral votes since Barack Obama’s heralded 2008 victory. They haven’t won a Senate race since then, either. And while North Carolina has delivered just enough mixed results to make clear it is, in fact, winnable for the party,

All five former officers involved in Nichols' arrest, who have since been charged with second-degree murder in his death, were part of that unit. The decision came after Memphis Police Chief Cerelyn "CJ" Davis met with members of the unit Saturday "to discuss the path forward for the department and the community in the aftermath of the tragic death of Tyre Nichols," police said in a statement.
