America’s spiritual crisis revealed
in the Tyre Nichols tragedy

Original Article

Some are saying that the death of Tyre Nichols was due to “bad policing” or perhaps affirmative action hiring. Neither is truly the main reason. The Tyre Nichols tragedy was due to a spiritual void where the perpetrators have no conscience. You don’t behave so viciously toward anyone unless you have it in your soul, your being, to be that way. And because the human race is fallen, deeply prone to bad behavior, born to be bad, so to speak, human beings default to that evil fallen state.

I don’t disagree, but while we wait for everyone’s soul to be immune from all evil influences, we need institutions to regulate people’s behavior. The police function is an integral part of that. People like bidet want to destroy the police function because it is not perfect.

Correction #4. 56% of all violent felonies - murder, rape, assault- are committed by black males between 18 and 40, just 3% of the population. The group from which these five come. It is THEIR culture that is at work here. Don’t blame all of America. Black mothers who worry whether their sons will come back alive from the streets share the blame too. They raise these boys to become violent men. In a way Van Jones is right. They wouldn’t dare do this to a white kid in an affluent neighborhood yards away from his parents’ house. But with a black kid they feel they get away with it. It is like blacks using the N word with impunity among themselves.

Most of us have learned to be peaceful and compassionate people. We abhor lawlessness and brutality because thats what we were taught by our parents, our teachers and our clergy. Nevertheless, we all have the capacity to visit the most unspeakable horrors upon others. All it takes is the right straw on the camels back to bring out the caveman in us. Some take a whole lot less straws than others.

Another example of those on the right buying into the left’s narrative on a particular story. I will wait for the actual facts—ALL of the facts—to come out before I judge the situation. I do know this, however: I would never be able to do a policeman’s job.

I suppose you could blame it on the human race, but it's another race that is responsible for most of the crimes and killings in this country. In my life I have found that if you respect the police they are more likely to respect you.

This is the "perfect storm". Black victim, all black cops, black officials. Everyone walking around wondering "what happened"? "what caused this"? Well, if one cop of any color loses it, you might understand it. "He just just snapped". I would even believe one cop and his partner. But five officers all go "rogue" at the same time? How were these individuals vetted before they were placed on the streets with badges, weapons, and authority? This was a "pack mentality". Thugs, savages. It could have been a lot worse. If the cops had been all white, cities would be burning. If the victim had been white, no burning, looting or riots. Just "oh, well", "these things happen", "if he did not resist, it would have been fine". This is way, way beyond "bad policing", "lack of training", or "racism". Those are easy answers. If you do not recruit The best men/women, pay them well, and support them this is just the beginning of similar horrors. Think about it. Respect, awe, and millions if you can throw a ball around. Disrespect, fear, loathing, lack of support, poor pay, and defunding for those who protect average Americans. They put their lives on the line for all of us - daily. Well, "the chickens are coming home to roost".

#12, it goes deeper than one may think. There are two passages that I have come across in the footnotes of my Bible and one of them is titled: "Coping With Competition" - it is lengthy but it makes a good point. Here it is: "Overcoming the natural tendencies of a competitive spirit takes supernatural intervention. It must be a constant petition to God. A competitive spirit is often fed by a dissatisfied spirit. If we learn to accept God's place and plan for us, we won't need to compare ourselves with someone else. Having developed the use of gifts with humble service as our goal, we will be able to serve quietly without envying. We will be able to work in the church nursery in a spirit of service and contentment rather than wishing we were gifted like the person who leads a large Bible class. Servants in either situation can feel confident and grateful for the opportunity to serve God wherever he has placed them. The bottom line may be our willingness to forget about who gets the glory for our service - ourselves or God. Certainly, when we learn to hand the bouquets back to God, we won't need to compare ourselves with anyone else." The other passage is this: "Unborn generations are depending on our faithfulness today. As we teach our children about the Lord, so they will teach their children and their children's children. If we fail to tell our children about the Lord, we may well be breaking the chain of God's influence in generations to come. We must view our children and all the young people we meet as God's future leaders. If we are faithful in opportunities today, we may well be affecting the future." Everyday the headlines remind me of these two passages. More and more, God is NOT getting the glory and God is being removed from people's everyday lives. The Greatest Commandment is a commandment to live by: Love God with all your heart, mind, soul and love your neighbor as yourself. It would seem that the people trying to remove God as authority are truly affecting the influence that God could have in a person's life.

It is mentioned here that it was the perfect storm heavily black populated Menphis, black city officials, black policemen, black victim what could go so wrong. Not a white person involved so what is the problem. Nichols should have been fine with being stopped by people of his own race and not a group of racist white cops, right? Why did Nichols decide to run instead only to be caught then beat down? There's more to this incident than we know just like the sainted George Floyd was the perfect citizen and white cops got out of hand.

I wondered what was going on when I saw the one kicking the victim in the head. Have seen that so much in the videos shot in NYC when the blacks knock people down and kick them in the head and body. I couldn't believe I saw a cop doing it.

It is my opinion that this midterm election will not be a “red wave” or a “red tsunami.” I predict a Red Flood of almost Noahic proportions. First will come the overwhelming rejection of the Biden agenda on November 8. Then will come the rejoicing by most of Red America. But after that, the illegalities will begin, starting with challenging the vote counts and the calls for recounts. Then it will escalate to violence unless there is a plan to nip it in the bud before it starts.

We should hope so. Democracy is mob rule. Democracy is rule by majority. We do not have a direct democracy. We never had one. America was never set up for that. We have a representative republic, where the representatives we voters choose make the decisions as to what legislation to approve or disapprove, according to what we want. That necessitates that our representatives actually ask us now and then what we want instead of voting how they want without our input. Elementary civics lesson over. Hillary Clinton derided Republicans in a keynote address during the New York Democrat party convention in February:…

For quite a while now, ever since Obama talked about the Constitution being a "charter of negative liberties," the left have been behaving as if our Constitution did not exist. Obama's comments and those of other radicals regarding how the Constitution is no longer applicable to today's America reveal a breathtaking disdain for this most brilliant document. Radicals are determined to ignore the Constitution without doing so publicly, thereby destroying it without actually saying that's what they want to do. And so the left have simply decided to ignore the constitutional protections that Americans enjoy against governmental overreach.

Is it “cruel” to send illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard, as Press Secretary Karine Jeanne-Pierre says? Was it also cruel when the Biden administration sent illegals from the border to Red states? What is the difference in the level of cruelty between liberals sending their illegals to red states and conservatives sending theirs to blue states and cities, or is it cruel only when conservatives do it? Liberals are on board for virtue-signaling diversity (and the crime) that comes of illegal immigration so long as it is NIMBY. Does cruelty accrue only when Democrats are hurt?

There has been a creeping meme among some Republican voters indicating that they will refuse to vote because they are fed up with congressional Republicans. They are telling everyone who will listen how horrible congressional Republicans are and are asking, "Why vote when our representatives do nothing and get nothing done?" People who advocate not voting are advocating surrender to the leftist mob and surrender to Democrats who have ruined a perfectly good country. They are recommending surrender to the leftists who are persecuting Republican conservatives. There is no other way to read this: If you won't vote, you turn the reins of what power you have over to Democrats.

I have noticed that our culture is filled with newly uneducated people, if education is viewed as the accumulated learning of history, math, literature, thought, and functional independent living. Only yesterday, people who went to college learned how to support themselves, how to treat and counsel others, how to build things, write things, how to interpret what they read, how to talk to other people for comity's sake, and how to build secure families. But the Eutopians* are pounding their spears on our borders.

It seems like just yesterday that politicians would try to sway voters to come to their point of view and cast a vote for them. Things have changed. In the past week, Charlie Crist told conservative voters he wants nothing to do with them because they're evil; Kathy Hochul told Republicans to leave her state; and, in the culmination of this abuse, Joe Biden effectively affixed the label "fascist" to Trump's 74,216,154 voters (all of whom are actual human beings). Is it any coincidence that, in the same week, activists twice swatted Marjorie Taylor Greene?

Or even this November, despite signs that things are turning around for the better. Democrats love taxes and have said that if they win, taxes on businesses and individuals will skyrocket. When President Trump re-takes the White House in 2024, we conservatives will be in charge of the House of Representatives and possibly the Senate. That is the time to fix what has gone so horribly wrong ever since COVID and the 2020 election. Having read Trump’s book, “The Art of the Deal,” I am going to attempt a death-defying feat here by offering him advice. His book reveals him to be infinitely patient and a strategic thinker, making few mistakes. He’s a winner, a fighter, and I take a great risk by daring to give him advice. Nevertheless, here is a list of priorities I’d like to see implemented.

Governor Kathy Hochul signed a bill last year that will compel certain speech be used when addressing or referring to LGBTQ or trans people. It is not constitutional and will be overturned. Legislation S.5325/A.6193 is very strange because it mandates that utility companies "allow customers to use what preferred name and pronoun they want." I was not aware that utility companies ever forbade customers their silly pronouns and preferred names, but apparently Kathy believes this has been the case.

Among the 9 people featured in the official poster are Angela Davis and Malcolm X — not Martin Luther King or Clarence Thomas, men who made America better, but a pair of thugs. Davis is the communist who in August 1970 surreptitiously armed three murder defendants which led to a shootout with the police that left the judge and the three gunmen dead. Malcolm X was an ex-convict who once was the face of the Nation of Islam, a black supremacist church. When he left it, the church sent assassins who killed him.
