Thursday, Joe Biden signed an executive order embedding the tenets of Critical Race Theory into the operations of the federal government. EO 13985, Executive Order on Further Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through The Federal Government, requires the establishment of “Agency Equity Teams” to ensure that equal outcomes are imposed on federal programs.
(i) Each Agency Equity Team shall be led by a designated senior official (senior designee) charged with implementing my Administration’s equity initiatives, and shall include senior officials from the office of the agency head and the agency’s program, policy, civil rights,

Demagogue George Soros has a meltdown on Climate Change at Munich Security Conference.
Soros totally lost it while reading some garbage on the effects of global climate change. (Video) YouTube added a bogus piece to the article noting that climate change is mostly man-made. (Snip) Apparently, because the video title mentions the word “climate”, YouTube adds a link to information on climate change.
Note how YouTube finds it necessary to push a totally ignorant fantasy that climate change is “mainly caused by human activities, especially the burning of fossil fuels”.

The Biden administration is preparing to sign up the United States to a “legally binding” accord with the World Health Organization (WHO) that would give this Geneva-based UN subsidiary the authority to dictate America’s policies during a pandemic.
Despite widespread criticism of the WHO’s response to the COVID pandemic, U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra joined with WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus in September 2022 to announce “the U.S.-WHO Strategic Dialogue.” Together, they developed a “platform to maximize the longstanding U.S. government-WHO partnership, and to protect and promote the health of all people around the globe, including the American people.”

The average person can’t describe the daily responsibilities of the secretary of transportation or even name the figure who holds that position — until our transportation infrastructure fails, that is. As far as cushy political appointments go, it’s on the thankless end of the spectrum.
At least that was the case before Pete Buttigieg ascended to the role in 2021. Now the secretary of transportation is both a political celebrity and someone immune to meaningful criticism over our country’s transportation failures — and there have been many.Though the left rarely misses an opportunity to announce that “the adults are back in charge,” Buttigieg’s failures suggest otherwise.

After claiming its spy balloon was a harmless weather balloon and angrily condemning the Biden administration for shooting the balloon down (after it crossed the continental U.S.), the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is now not only demanding that the U.S. take all the blame for the incident but also that the U.S. abandon its unofficial ally Taiwan. As usual, the genocidal CCP is uninhibited by any interest in truth or justice.
CCP state propaganda outlet Xinhua News published a statement from a Chinese Foreign Ministry (FM) spokesman on Feb. 19. The spokesman said that China acceded to a U.S. request and that Wang Yi,

A major power outage caused by a fire at an electrical substation shut down the Oakland Airport in Northern California Sunday evening.
More than 50,000 customers in the Bay Area were impacted and flights out of the area were halted after a fire broke out at a Pacific Gas and Electric substation around 1pm.
Photos and videos posted on social media show stranded passengers at the airport waiting at their gates and to get through security which was shut down for hours.
A representative for PG&E confirmed the widespread outage on Twitter just after 2.50pm Pacific Standard Time and say they are 'currently investigating the details.'

“The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings. The inherent virtue of Socialism is the equal sharing of miseries.”
— Winston Churchill, House of Commons, Oct. 22, 1945
American socialists are eager to prove Churchill right.
Their preferred stalking horse in their pursuit of egalitarian misery is the specter of a climate apocalypse. Since the apocalypse, in their telling, is gonna be, well, apocalyptic, that means the defense against it must be just as all-embracing. And just as the defense against the real Nazi apocalypse bankrupted the British Empire, so, too, they are content to bankrupt America in the pursuit of a cause they believe has equal urgency.

President Joe Biden arrived in Kyiv on Monday morning on a surprise days before the first anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and declared that Vladimir Putin had failed in his 'war of conquest.'
His visit was shrouded in secrecy. He arrived after the hourslong train journey from Poland with a stripped down press traveling pool of just one reporter and a photographer.
Air raid sirens blared across the besieged Ukrainian capital although there were no reports of Russian missile or air strikes.

On Saturday evening, Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene announced that President Joe Biden would be impeached for funneling money to Ukraine while ignoring the ongoing crises in East Palestine, Ohio and at the southern border.
Over the past several weeks, America’s attention has been focused on East Palestine, Ohio where toxic chemicals were released into the atmosphere after a train derailment took place.
The disaster was widely ignored by the Biden administration and the media until former President Donald Trump announced he would be visiting the town this Wednesday.

Tesla and Twitter CEO Elon Musk ripped the Department of Defense on Sunday after it tweeted that “diversity is a strategic imperative.”
The DOD tweeted on Saturday, “Diversity is a strategic imperative critical to mission readiness and accomplishment. We were on site for the 2023 inaugural [Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion] Summit as DEIA experts led forums to advance the DEIA and DoD mission — because our people matter.” Musk responded, “Your strategic imperative is defending the United States.” The summit, according to an earlier tweet, took place February 15-17, and featured “distinguished presenters, renowned experts in government, higher education, business, science, and technology.”

Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot urged black voters to help her 'keep the seat' from falling to white or Hispanic challengers, despite an appalling spike in crime.
As Lightfoot seeks a second term in the upcoming February 28 election, some business leaders concerned about the continuing crime wave say they don't think she is up to the task.
In rallies on Saturday, Lightfoot told the South and West side residents who don't support her to not bother voting at all. Chicago's South Side is a historically-black area.
'Any vote coming from the South Side for somebody not named Lightfoot is a vote for Chuy Garcia or Paul Vallas,' Lightfoot said.

President Joe Biden could wait up to a whole year before beginning his re-election campaign should he decide to run for a second term in 2024.
According to a new report, Biden will follow the “Obama model,” in which former President Barack Obama didn’t start campaigning until 13 months after announcing his re-election run.
“Obama went 13 months after the announcement to start campaigning,” NBC News’s Peter Alexander said during an interview on “Meet the Press.” “[Biden] could make an announcement in April and wait until next year to get on the trail.”
