President Joe Biden’s Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, announced another $2.5 billion in military aid for Ukraine on Thursday and said the United States “will stand united with Ukraine for as long as it takes.”
The most recent aid package comes after Congress awarded $45 billion to Ukraine in the massive $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill that Biden signed into law last month, bringing the total amount of U.S. aid sent to Ukraine to over $110 billion. Interestingly, the $45 billion Congress awarded was $8 billion more than the $37 billion that Biden’s administration requested.

This must stop. Where the hell are the first $billions we sent? Mainly in personal accounts? Theirs and the kickbacks our "people" are receiving. This needs to be on Jim Jordan's to do list.

Couldn't the Biden Administration have gone to the Taliban and offered them 40 Billion for the 85 Billion worth of stuff we left behind and saved us some money?

For God's sake this has got to stop! We are being bled dry of money and munitions in the name of fighting Putin's dominance over the world! Hell he doesn't need to do anything more our own government is going to leave us defenseless and all Putin or China or North Korea will need to do is waltz right in and take over, what is left of our country after Biden and company have run us into the ground so far we will never see daylight. The Senate Republicans are just as guilty as the Dems too. God help us.

Maybe the U.S. should bomb Ukraine to stop the economic hemorrhaging of America.

Their goal is to destroy Russia and save the American Dollar. It is not about saving Ukrainians (which far the most part are separate from the Neo-Nazi Oligarchs, including the Jewish clown that is president.) But it is too late. The Debt Ceiling drama is political theater. The real issue is that US dollar as the World's Reserve Currency received its death blow this week when the Saudi Finance Minister announced at Davos that they are willing to consider trading oil in other currencies (no need for countries to maintain US Dollar Reserves any longer and the Fiat dollar becomes worthless). This is imperialistic suicide.

On top of that, Ukraine is not going to win the war with Russia.

Not our jungle, not our monkeys. More wasted billions. The Bidiot just might get us into a nuclear war. How are these people going to be stopped? They're gliding inexorably toward the fires of the underworld, and we're onboard.

This is ridiculous track suit boy is biking the United States for everything he can. If Donald Trump was President the stand up comedian would see on thin dime. To think in a few more months we'll hear our government will have to shut down if we don't pass some bill to keep it operating. At this point I wish we would shut down, for good. American people come last to everything with fraud Joe Biden the standing cadaver fronting this nation. FJB

Most of this is pure accounting BS. The dollar value of what is being given to Ukraine is FAR, FAR less than they claim.
OK, you have a M113 armored personnel carrier, which we started building in the 1950s and used until about the 1970s. We have 8,000 of them sitting in warehouses, stored "for some emergency". We give them to police departments, if we they will take them. One local police department has one. We will NEVER, EVER use them again in a war. They were paid for 50+ years ago, and will eventually be sent off to be melted down for a penny on the dollar, if that.
BUT - if we give them to Ukraine - that is counted at the full retail value when they were new, not the actual value now which is damned near nothing. Pure hogwash. Like being able to say that you gave away a $20,000 car when you give away your 1998 Honda Accord.....which would sell for $500, if you were lucky.
It's mostly a scam. Most of what we are giving away is worth FAR, FAR less than the "claimed value".
Of course, some is modern weapons......sort of. All ammunition has a a firm "use by" date when made.
Let's take solid fuel rockets as an example. I worked with White Sands where they test stuff on rocket sleds. They use "expired" rocket motors from all sorts of military rockets, that HAVE to be gotten rid of once they reach their "expired date".
So, every Stinger, NLAW, Javelin, AT4 and other rocket that we give them.....has a few years left on it's shelf life, and then we will PAY A LOT to have it destroyed because it has dangerous solid rocket fuel and high explosives and toxic ingredients in it. So, if we give away a 20 year shelf life weapon, when it has sat on our shelf for 18 years, and then replace it with a nice, shiny, NEW rocket - with better electronics and more capabilities - is that one we gave away actually worth the full value of the NEW missile?
We were about 99% for sure going to have to pay to have it destroyed (negative value) in a couple more years on the shelf, unless we got into a war and used it, so giving it away - probably actually worth 10% of the original value, if that.
It's like your old cathode ray TV. If you scrap it, you have to pay to have it recycled, you cannot just throw it in the trash. If you can give it to someone, and claim full new value on your taxes - what a DEAL.
The dollar value of what is being given to Ukraine is FAR, FAR less than they claim.
