When the Reverend Samuel Dike and his colleagues inaugurated the National Divorce Reform League in 1881, it was because they saw that the rate of divorce in America had grown dangerously high—dangerous, that is, to the common good, especially of the poor. That rate was 10 percent. The problems this group had to tackle were social, educational, and political—and by political I imply also the problem of federalism. They knew that certain states had rendered divorces easier to obtain. Nevada was by no means the only state with a questionable policy. Those who have voiced concerns about the dangers that drag events, such as Drag Queen Story Hour (DQSH), pose for children (namely, sexualization and grooming) have been told that those concerns are baseless, that the events are harmless, that it is all just entertainment and fun, and that attending drag events is a way to understand the gay culture. On January 25, 2021 an academic paper entitled Drag Pedagogy: the Playful Practice of Queer Imagination in Early Childhood," was published online in Curriculum Inquiry, an educational journal.

In a new interview with Fox News's Bret Baier, former South Carolina governor and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley walked close to the line of declaring her candidacy for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination. "I'm not going to make an announcement here," Haley said. "But when you're looking at a run for president, you look at two things. You first look at, does the current situation push for new leadership? The second question is, am I that person that could be that new leader?"

In December 2022, Interior Secretary Deb Haaland announced that her department would expedite plans to build solar energy farms on up to 100 million acres of untouched public land in five Western states, in a bid to "tackle climate change." The announcement has garnered little to no national attention, save for the occasional report that the Biden administration is expanding renewable energy production. National outlets took a far more critical approach to Trump-era land use proposals. "

President Joe Biden has awarded EcoHealth Alliance – a controversial non-profit that partnered with the Wuhan Institute of Virology on manipulating viruses similar to COVID-19 – with new multi-million dollar grants for pandemic-related research. Run by notorious COVID-19 “natural origins” propagandist and Chinese Communist Party-funded researcher Peter Daszak, EcoHealth Alliance received millions of dollars from Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Health (NIH) agency for work on “killer” viruses. Summaries of their joint research – recently wiped from the Chinese lab’s website – reveal scientists creating “chimeric” viruses that spread in humans at rates “equivalent to epidemic strains of SARS-CoV.”

Democratic leaders in major cities nationwide have already moved forward with bans on natural gas stoves even as the Biden administration has pumped the brakes on similar regulations at the federal level. Cities including Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and New York City — which are collectively home to more than 10 million Americans — have enacted varying restrictions on natural gas hookups impacting gas-powered furnaces, ovens and stoves. Leaders of the Democrat-led cities have argued that transitioning away from natural gas would help achieve climate and net-zero ambitions. "New York City is proof that it’s possible to

So Joe Biden is finally, officially in trouble for something. While many in the media are eager to point out that Biden’s classified document scandal isn’t as bad in some ways as Trump’s classified document scandal, some realists have admitted that they’re similar enough that there’s probably not a lot to be gained here. And one reason that’s true is that while Biden’s people did quickly call the National Archives to, in effect, turn themselves in once the documents were found, they sat on the findings as far as the public was concerned. If you’ve watched any of the White House press briefings this week then you already know this has

Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair called for a “digital infrastructure” to track vaccination status at Davos 2023. A conference hosted by the World Economic Forum (WEF) is indeed an appropriate venue for Blair’s most inappropriate demand, since WEF previously released its plan for a digital ID required to do or buy anything. “You need to know who’s been vaccinated and who hasn’t been,” Blair exclaimed. “You’ve got to have the proper digital infrastructure.” WEF’s digital ID would essentially be a social credit score, as the ID would be required to access social media and government benefits, vote, open bank accounts, book travel, shop, access healthcare and insurance, own electronic devices,

U.S. customs officials are cracking down on egg smugglers. With egg prices soaring in the U.S. over the last year, more Americans are crossing into Mexico to buy the food item and trying to sneak cartons of raw eggs along some areas of the southern border, including California and Texas. "We are seeing an increase in people attempting to cross eggs from Juarez to El Paso because they are significantly less expensive in Mexico than the U.S.," U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesman Roger Maier told CBS MoneyWatch. "This is also occurring with added frequency at other Southwest border locations."

That comes after the White House had asserted that the search had been completed. Biden’s lawyers immediately tried to get out in front of the revelation, releasing a statement claiming cooperation with the DOJ. But while the administration continues to talk about transparency, one bombshell detail from the search has left the president’s lies fully exposed.
