I am grateful to San Francisco’s official African American Reparations Advisory Committee for the damage it has done to the notion that the current populace of the United States, none of whom were alive during slavery, owe some kind of debt to African Americans. (snip) The notion that but for the “harms” it cites, including mortgage discrimination, the construction of public housing, and the “war on drugs,” every African American would be rocketed into the 2% wealthiest Americans, is patently absurd.

After years of flip-flopping, the ATF has issued a rule recharacterizing guns with pistol braces, making millions of currently owned guns subject to federal "short-barrel" rifle registration, together with a $200 tax. The effect of this rule change is particularly potent in Connecticut, where existing laws banning so-called "assault rifles" are immediately triggered. Owners there of handguns with pistol braces cannot merely remove the brace if the weapon has a "forward pistol grip" or "second hand grip"; these guns are effectively rendered instantly illegal due to the fickle federal rule change.

Kathy Chung may be a key figure in the mishandling of classified documents from Joe Biden’s two terms as vice president. As his executive assistant at the time, she was reportedly involved in packing up the documents he removed from government offices when his term as VP ended. (snip) Who is Kathy Chung? Curiously, neither the UK Daily Mail nor Fox News, both of which are experts at digging up photos, has been able to come up with a picture of Ms. Chung, despite her currently serving in a rather public position for a rather public figure, the Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.

Within 24 hours of the public learning of the existence of a second trove of classified documents stolen from the White House by Joe Biden, this time in his Delaware garage, AG Merrick Garland disposed of a hot potato by appointing Robert Hur, a DC Lawyer and former US Attorney for Maryland as special counsel.
The approved narrative is already emphasizing that he was a Trump appointee but will not mention that presidents usually nominate candidates recommended by a state’s senators, in Hur’s case, liberal Democrats Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen in 2018.

Scott McLaughlin said, "I'm f------ killing that b----." After doing just that, he came back covered in Beverly Guenther's blood. When he led the police to his ex-girlfriend's body, they found her naked from the chest down, with her bra stained red with her own blood. McLaughlin admitted to stabbing Guenther. Over and over again. (snip) because he eventually claimed to be a woman, feminists pleaded with authorities to spare his her his life.
You see, while in prison, Scott "became" Amber, hair held back in ringlets, rose-colored lipstick gracing "her" lips. Scott was granted a genuine, official, taxpayer-funded "gender transition" three years ago.

Some people make a name for themselves by building something -- a business, a following, an audience.
Others try to make a name for themselves not by building anything but just by trying to tear down what others have built.
Steve Almond has set out to do the latter. For the past few years he has set out to tear down the National Football League through a book he wants to sell. (snip) He appeared on Ingraham’s show with a dual agenda.

Visiting the Pantheon, one of Rome’s premier tourist sites, it’s hard not be humbled by the knowledge that this building has lasted 1900 years and still stands as the world’s largest unreinforced concrete dome (snip) Yet for all our scientific and technical sophistication, Roman concrete resisted cracking and eventually crumbling far better than ours.
Now, as MIT News reports, scientists from MIT, Harvard, and 2 European research institutes have discovered the secret to Rome’s concrete recipe. We may finally be ending the Dark Ages for concrete

There is nothing so unnerving as government-initiated election fraud, perpetrated by both political parties, hiding in plain sight. (snip) The hard part is creating people and addresses — it is an industrial-scale operation. (snip) You need to create those voters — the way the pros do — which leaves out the Republicans. Make it government work.
Here's how it's done.Arizona, a state with a Republican governor and Republican legislature at the time, has a nice little law to help out. Go look this baby up.

The charging documents so far revealed in the University of Idaho students’ murder investigation are both comforting and chilling. I suspect that I am far from alone in having gotten impatient (snip) and may have made some unkind assumptions (snip) it is disconcerting that the highly politicized and anti-conservative FBI is able to track our movements with surveillance videos and cell phone pings and match our DNA to a sample in its possession even if we’ve never had a DNA test ourselves (snip) do I have anything to worry about? I think that I do given my conservative political orientation and propensity for free thinking and expression

Liberal Whites wallowing in revisionist histories have made Whites the racist pariahs of the world, and Americans are ranked the worst. (snip) America is the only nation where people politick to make its long-dead slave past the center of its history. As a historical matter, it makes little sense when compared to the slave sins of other nations.
America received 3-5% of the slaves sold in the Atlantic trade. Over 90% were sold in the Caribbean and South America. (snip) There are many nations where slavery played a much more salient role, but it’s not a central part of their history books or even a chapter.

Even in the face of data showing that Covid “vaccines” do not prevent transmission of the virus but do cause extremely high rates of adverse events to be reported, the US (and much of the world’s) medical establishment remains fully committed to pushing universal vaccinations. (snip) If there is one dramatic case study that seems to upend the vaccination absolutists, it is Africa, many of whose countries are too poor to have mass vaccination programs, yet which has the lowest death toll from Covid in the world. The AP reported last year: Scientists mystified, wary, as Africa avoids COVID disaster

In 2021, Disney greenlit Strange World, an animated movie about a family journeying through a mysterious land to save a resource that’s losing its energy. Bob Iger, who is returning to Disney to “save” it from Bob Chapek’s sad tenure, was still on board in 2021, so he must have greenlit it. That’s a relevant fact because the movie bombed at the box office. Coincidentally or not, the movie has an openly gay subtext as one of the main male characters crushes on another boy.
Before the movie opened, the media wanted audiences to know about the gay romance, probably under the mistaken belief that audiences would care:
