We reported earlier on the monstrosity of the $1.7 trillion Omnibus Bill that the Democrats are trying to shove through Congress. It’s giving Joe Biden and the Democrats everything they want without holding them to anything, including things like securing the border. This spending, coming at a time when we’re already dealing with crushing inflation because of overspending, is madness. The bill just dropped and is more than 4000 pages long. [snip] claiming that money for Ukraine is part of the number one priority for the United States just infuriated people,

I sure miss America First policies, which is, actually, our leadership’s main responsibility.

As McConnell and the other democrats bankrupt the country, I have to wonder who is benefiting? It surely is not the average American.

Lot of backstabbing going on these days.
We are nothing more than revenue producers for the elites.
If they get out of line, there is no consequence.
If we get out of line, all hell breaks loose.

Can McConnell point to a treaty that obligates the US to defend Ukraine? Ukraine is not a NATO member, so why are we blindly funding this war before stopping the southern border invasion or the massive over regulation of almost every aspect of our lives by Biden’s group of anti American leftists?
And will this old RINO fool explain how far we are to go in defending Ukraine? US troops to train, repair and protect the massive amounts of equipment we are providing? USAF fighters to provide air cover? US Marines to ensure that major Ukrainian grain shipping ports like Odessa remain open? Naval mine clearing in the Black Sea? Nuclear weapons response if Putin nukes Kiev?
All we are allowed to know is that billions of our money are being sent? Don’t even know if US Customs is permitted to open the suitcases of cash being returned to the Bidens.

Surely somewhere in there is an appropriation to put a free tattoo on the forehead of every Republican saying, "LOSER", just to remind them every morning when they look in the mirror.

I’m sorry. Not one more single dime to the Ukraine. All that money just gets laundered back to crooked politicians. Or for Paris shopping sprees. The only reason Ukraine is important is that it was where everyone could launder and store their bribes from China.

McConnell and DC GOP's base are multi national corporations, not US citizens. I don't know why anyone is still a registered republican.

The Turtle is the archetypal Swamp-Dweller. He might as well change parties based on what he thinks Republican voters want.

Number one and two priorities are getting this nation's debt and government debt under control.
McConnell is a corrupt buffoon.

McConnells base are the globalist communists in the country, not conservatives or true Republicans ( if they still exist). He is taking a crap on our heads people time to rally against all those who voted for this bill. Once again little Marco Rubio screws his Florida constituents. Cmon fellow Floridians we need to replace Rubio ASAP with a new voice from south Florida. Let’s get him to resign and let DeSantis pick his replacement.

As a tax-paying conservative, I’m more infuriated by the republican representatives who ran for office pledging their conservatives convictions. Once at the trough of “power” they quickly develop amnesia for their past promises. Most are primarily interested in their re election and eventuating in the wealth rewarded to a lobbyist. Utterly disgusting.

Regarding Rubio, the main reason to vote for Rubio was...Val Demmings. Shouldn't have voted for Rubio but didn't want Demmings either. Like I said, it's a lose/lose situation. We are probably all guilty of voting for someone that shouldn't be in office. It has a lot to do with why the nation is in the mess it's in. The writing has been on the wall regarding Rubio for some time now.

I don't know anyone who has said that defeating Russia in Ukraine is our most important issue. McConnell is insane and part of the problem.

A $1.7 trillion spending bill that is all about Ukraine and a proxy war, Turtle? Riiiight. If it is, it's just a matter of time before we send American troops there, too.
