A Florida teacher who was accused of having White students in his classroom bow to Black students is on leave. Ethan Hooper, a middle school teacher in Orlando, posted the videos to his personal social media which went viral after being shared by the popular right-wing account Libs of TikTok.
One of the videos Hooper posted showed White students acting like servants to Black students in the class in honor of Black History Month. White students were shown in the video fanning and feeding Black students.
"It was in good fun. There was no political agenda behind it," the teacher said. He said the video was being "maliciously used."

It's been a year since Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The fierce resistance is in part thanks to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whose determination has surprised many, above all Vladimir Putin. It's a world record. No leader before Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has managed to hold an address every single day for a straight year. The leader records video statements in his office, a bunker or elsewhere, chronicling the war against his country. The presidential addresses document how he and his country have changed since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion.

The Ukraine mess is daily looking more like the Spanish Civil War of 1936 to 1939, a meat grinder that took 500,000 lives. That three-year conflict became a savage proxy war and prelude for the belligerents of World War II.
The Ukraine battlefield is proving to be a similar laboratory of death. New lethal weaponry and tactics are introduced, modified -- and always improved -- from drones to guided missiles to internet-fed artillery.
Likewise, a similar pre-global war lineup of the eventual adversaries is emerging in preview of a much larger, much scarier war to come.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre slipped up during a Thursday press briefing, accidentally referring to President Biden as "President Obama." Jean-Pierre's slip of the tongue came as she was making announcements at the top of the briefing, causing a wave of laughter and surprise among the press corps.
"So today, as you all saw just an hour or so ago, President Obama announced that—Pardon me, President Biden!" Jean-Pierre said as reporters shouted surprise. "Whoa! Ahem, that is news. I know, we're going back not forwards. We've gotta go forwards." She then went on to announce "President Biden's" nominee to lead the World Bank.

Note from the Editors’ Collective: We will never fully know the trauma that the straight, white male writer Roald Dahl has inflicted on children. Until the rise of brilliant scholars in critical race theory, genderqueer studies and hxstory, to respectfully recognize just a few fields where virtuous minds have toiled, we lacked the proper language and theoretical tools to identify the range of harmful ideas – including cisheteropatriarchy, whiteness, colonialism, the gender binary – that infect “James and the Giant Peach,” “Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,” and “Matilda.”
But once initiated into critical consciousness, young readers will readily recognize Willie Wonka’s “factory” as the subliminal normalization of capitalist exploitation

As President Biden boarded a European train destined for Kyiv, back in Washington, Rep. James Comer and his team drafted a long-expected letter.
Standing next to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Biden pledged Monday that the lifeline of economic and military aid to that nation, support already well in excess of $100 billion, would not slack, and that the United States would stand with Ukraine “as long as it takes.”
Comer, the new chair of the House Oversight Committee, delivered a different message to the Biden administration Wednesday: Save your receipts. All of them.

Americans received a pristine view of Democrats’ disastrous America-Last policies this morning as Joe Biden paid a surprise visit to Ukraine while his own country literally burns with manmade disasters he continues to inflame.
Biden’s Federal Emergency Management Agency denied any money to help clean up a burning chemical disaster zone in the Republican state of Ohio, but Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has made it clear that Biden will get a blank check to slosh around hundreds of billions from U.S. taxpayers to prolong the carnage of war in Ukraine — and the profits from it from insane deficit spending that also threatens U.S. national security.

The problem with Don Lemon is that nobody has ever told him he’s not as good as he thinks he is.
He’s handsome and works in an industry that can inflate even the most constrained egos. Clearly, the CNN anchor has no constraints. He has allowed his ego to grow bigger than a Chinese weather balloon. We are watching in real time the inevitable process of cutting Lemon down to size. It’s not CNN doing that.
He’s doing it to himself by exposing his toxic chauvinism to female colleagues. Ever since he lost his solo primetime show due to low ratings, Lemon has been having an internal tantrum that regularly erupts

Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis’ team fired back at New York City Mayor Eric Adams, a Democrat, after the mayor offered to teach the Florida governor about the crime-ridden city's "values." Adams took a shot at DeSantis as the Florida governor kicked off his pro-police tour through Democrat-run cities in the City that Never Sleeps on Monday.
"Welcome to NYC, [DeSantis], a place where we don’t ban books, discriminate against our LGBTQ+ neighbors, use asylum seekers as props, or let the government stand between a woman and health care," Adams wrote on Monday.

"[S]he uses her Brown skin to launder White supremacist talking points," Ali added.

Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis is set to kick off a pro-police tour starting in New York City to speak with law enforcement officers in blue-led cities who feel unsupported. DeSantis will begin the tour Monday morning by speaking with police officers and law enforcement union officials at a diner in red-leaning borough of Staten Island. The governor will then head to Fort Washington, a Philadelphia suburb, and Elmhurst, Illinois, near Chicago, where he will meet with sheriffs, chiefs of police and other local law enforcement officials, his political team told Fox News Digital.

He’s been called the future of the Democratic Party, and the smartest man in the swamp. Pete Buttigieg serves as transportation secretary in the Biden Administration. And one could argue that, outside of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, there isn’t anyone in the administration who has performed as poorly as the former mayor of South Bend, Ind.
This perspective comes after Buttigieg was once again several days late and many dollars short in his response to a 50-car train derailment on Feb. 3 in East Palestine, Ohio, that resulted in four kinds of cancer-causing chemicals being released into the area’s air and water. Fish and poultry have died
