In a rally for Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, former U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard ripped into national Democratic Party leaders, calling them “elitists” who no longer care about individual freedom.
Tulsi Gabbard announced last week she was leaving the Democratic Party and has been savagely calling them out ever since.
“They have gone crazy — they have gone insane. There’s no other way to describe it,” Gabbard told the crowd in Chandler, Ariz. “It’s kind of like the emperor has no clothes. Everybody sees what’s going on, but nobody wants to say it out loud.”

I think I speak for us all when I say to Ms Gabbard about her political view the same thing I would say to Hunter Biden about his addiction: "Although we are happy you have finally come to your senses, the inordinate length of time it took you causes us to still have reservations about your judgment and capacity for critical thinking."

#1, I understand your reservations, but no, you don't speak for all of us. Some of us say, "Ms. Gabbard we are happy you are coming to your senses. Welcome. And keep coming."

#1 You seem to be unable to differentiate between the perfect and the good You have come up short on your history lessons. Ronald Reagan, who I consider to be one of our greatest Presidents was a Democrat and famously said he didn't leave the Democrat Party, the Party left him. I am very happy to see Tulsi Gabbard standing up for the institutions and values that I hold, regardless of her previous party affliliation. She is an excellent spokesperson. MrDeplorable, when you find that perfect politician please let the rest of know.

Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy have the full throared endorsement of every person in GOP leadership as far as the eye can see. Have either of these 'leaders' criticized the Dems as harshly as Tulsi? Have either travelled to AZ to stand with Kari Lake?. Have either called for an end to the Ukraine insanity pushing us to the brink of nuclear war? I too have reservations about her recent conversion but man, look at what passes for leadership in the GOP before throwing stones at someone who is at least speaking truth out loud.

Glad she finally woke up, but she has a heap of explaining to do regarding her stand on the 2nd amendment. That alone will negate any feelings I might have for her.

America first. That should be the criteria used in deciding who to vote for. Simple and easy. If any legislation or other act by any politician is not for the express benefit of the American people it should be voted against. KISS

Greg Gutfield says Gabbard will be Trump’s VP running mate. I don’t know the who, what, when, where, why or how of his developing that prediction. While I’m glad she finally left the Dem Party, that is a bit quick for my comfort if it happens to be true.
I loved Ronald Reagan too, #4, but he proved himself and his convictions over a much longer period of time before advancing to a run for the highest office in the land. He is also credited with another quote which indicates his wisdom. “Trust, but verify”.

Can we develop a habit of giving people enough time to prove themselves? A week? Seriously, will we ever learn? Be at least a little skeptic. This gullibility is insanity.

I welcome Tulsi's turn against the Dems, but time will tell the true story about this. Until she explains how she could have stood with Bernie, I will have a lot of trouble fully embracing her. Is a presidential run as an Independent in the works?

I must agree with many posters here re: Tulsi. We've all jumped on too many band wagons too quickly over the years and become disillusioned - and embarrassed - when the current object of our affection turns out to be just another political opportinist. How bout we wait and see for a change?

Re; No. 5; "Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy have the full throated endorsement of every person in GOP leadership as far as the eye can see." My opinion is that these two do-nothings control their members by appointing committee members and controlling campaign donations. To me, they both are pukes that should NEVER be in a position of leadership!!
Just my thoughts.

We should all consider that Tulsi Gabbards voting record while in congress helped get us to the mess we’re in today.
Time will tell. Forget trust, just verify.

A Democrat is a sociopath. A Democrat politician is a psychopath.
