Oh, Mike Pence, you soft, naive little man. Oh, Tim Scott, you kindly and friendly gentleman. I like you both. I really do. I would love you to be my neighbors. If I ran short of sugar or charcoal, you'd square me away. Not so much bourbon, but whatever. If I asked you to help me move or give me a ride to the airport, you suckers would be all in because you are nice guys. And that's your problem and the problem of Republicans like you. You are nice guys in a time that calls for ruthless killers who want to destroy our enemies

FTA: "You would prefer a world of comity, collegiality, and unicorns." I disagree. They're out for money, and not just money but hardcore WEALTH. And the power that comes with it. But most importantly WEALTH. They collaborated with the GOPe and said, Just tell us what to do. And the GOPe smiled.

Just read something else about the Republican McLeadership — McConnell, McCarthy, McDaniel. They don’t WANT to win, as evidenced by their lack of fight. I’m hating them worse than I hate the Communists. The Communists are at least more honest in their dishonesty.

It’s dangerous to say this, but this is the best thing Kurt has done yet. (Tomorrow he’ll write another one equally good.) He is superb at elucidating the frustration and anger we conservatives are feeling. Dead right: those two men are too soft, not living in the real world, expecting that their decorum is something we need. We don’t. As Kurt said, we need “killers” in the sense that they are not afraid to go to war in the culture and in politics. Way to go, Kurt. As usual, superb.

Pence and Scott, you saw what happened to HW Bush in 1992 when he was so gentlemanly with BJ Clinton and Bob Dole in 1996 when HE tried to make nice with the rather sketchy BJ Clinton, or when John McCain in 2008 and Pierre Delecto in 2012 when they both tried to make nice with the Obiemeister during the 2008 and 2012 election campaigns. All got their clocks cleaned - severely. Do us all a favor, guys, and stay out of the 2024 presidential race. America, as founded, is fighting for its very survival and the last thing we need is your Mr. Rogers schtick. And tell your donors "no thanks".

As usual Kurt Schlichter nails it as to what reality really is regarding the state of affairs of our Republic. We are at war with the communist death democrats which means we must have take no prisoners warriors in Congress, State, County, and local governments, especially on School Boards. Great article. By the way I strongly recommend Kurt's Kelly Turnbull novels regarding a splitting up of our country into two parts. You can't put them down once you start reading. No more rhino traitors and quisling republicans in power. That especially goes for the M&M twins China Mitch McConnell and Pelosi's butt boy Keven McCarthy. We cannot win with those two leading republicans in the Senate and House.

Kurt never disappoints! He is ALWAYS right on the Target. We need to get him into the Senate! As for Pence, if he HAD refused to certify that Election, think what a Hero he would have been. Instead he went the Route of the Good Guy. Does anyone really believe that if the Tables were turned, and this happened to the Democrats, that they would NOT have certified that Election? They wouldn't have cared one bit if people said that wasn't nice. They would have grabbed that Election with whatever worked. Unfortunately, Pence didn't have it in him to do that and so we now have to live under a Biden Administration that is tearing our Country apart! Thanks, but NO THANKS TO PENCE!!

To add insult to injury, democrats are counting on these flaccid Republicans to do what they always have done, cave. Given the chance, they will too. If Republicans take the House and Senate, the narrative will be, “for the good of the country we must unite”. Yeah, right. I completely disagree. You give them no quarter. You tell them as Obama did, I won, you lost. For the good of the country, democrats must suffer. It is necessary that they understand actions have consequences. They must be held accountable. And don’t give me that, we have to get busy doing the business of the people and should not waste time on endless investigations. That is not going to fly. The American people not only want but they need to know that justice can be restored. We have to hold these people responsible and they must face swift and sure justice. Anything less is moral cowardice and a total abandonment of the rule of law. As democrats love to crow, no one is above the law. Make them eat those words.

Yeah, in 2005 we still had a chance at fixing things but blew it. In 2022, time is up, and we now have to deal with the consequences. The big problem is the debt and that is because we are run by tyrants, crooks, and incompetents. The Democrats won't fix it. Doubt the Republicans will either. Both would rather tell others what to do and line their pockets. Not sure there is anyone worth getting behind. We need warriors? Show me someone we can rally behind first.

The attempt to make Pence a hero and a contender is - what? - bizarre? Futile? Mostly, it's media arrogance thinking it's their prerogative to pick the GOP candidate again. And of course they want a tomato can. For the sake of accuracy, Ned Beatty's character Bobby was not a 'good person' in Deliverance. He was a slick, flippant salesman as he himself admitted. He certainly didn't earn his fate, however.

FTA: "The difference is that our response to the manifest proof that the system is totally broken...is to accept the harsh reality." Nice rant, wrong reality. The UNIPARTY is a union that doesn't differentiate between "commie Dem" and RINO profiteers. The two parties at their corrupt cores are one and the same, as demonstrated by the "commie Dems" fixing the '20 election and the GOPe state legislatures in SIX REPUBLICAN STATES standing down despite the apparent statistical impossibility of the outcome and the open cheating. The common goal was to Dump Trump. And until one understands that party differences are in truth merely differences in degree and "branding", the apparent conflict largely a ruse, the various cults of Republican/conservative heroes will continue to lead trusting patriots to disappointment after disappointment. It wasn't long ago, for example, that Dubya was hailed as the "Greatest of All TIme" in these precincts. We had the McCainiacs and the Romneybots who would brook no discouraging word about their heroes, each The Man who would save us from Obama and socialist disaster. Paul Ryan stood up to Obama and was a hero until he wasn't. And here we are today...same plot with different characters. New "real conservative" heroes to promote, all in the MAGA shadow, like Tim Scott. And at the core now is an apparent consensus that elections that matter are fixed anyways. Talk about "softies, (who) cannot get (their) heads around the truth of the situation because to do so would require (them) to go hard, and going hard is not in (their) wheelhouse." It's not in the wheelhouse of many who feverishly shout "Lock and load!" then do nothing, not even turn up on their local "town green" holding a sign in protest. I'm underwhelmed at the public response of "patriots" to J6 and the holding of these American political prisoners on misdemeanor charges treated as mass murderers. No public displays of support anywhere. Anyone even wearing a "Free the J6 850" t-shirt? Any candidates demanding their release? Where are our political cult heroes? Where are local conservative activists? Our "Young Republicans" on campus? Keeping their powder dry, I suppose. Our elected 'Pubbies may be soft...so then are those who enthusiastically elect/re-elect them to office, often eventually disappointed and disenchanted when the chips are laid down. As Mitch says after another legislative compromise, "It's the best we could do." Just don't hand him cash in the "casino"...it's unseemly. "So step aside, and let the warriors do their thing." Okay, Kurt, let me know where and when they show up doing their thing. Remember the Tea Party!

I have never believed that there is a uniparty. The stated principles of the two parties differ greatly. The Democrat Party, definitely the tougher and politically more effective of the two, does know how to manipulate and shame the weaklings who make up a large part of the Republican Party. What is different now, as Schlichter writes, is that the Democrats want not to bother pretending to work with the opposition. Democrats want to eliminate all opposition, even the token opposition offered by the flaccid Republicans. That’s a change and too many Republicans can’t see it. Hakeem Jeffries, who hopes to replace Nancy Pelosi, recently stated Republicans are fanning racial hatred. This is a slanderous lie yet it is becoming a truism with Democrat voters. No national Republican leader took him to task. The Democrats know what they are doing. Too many Republicans are, as Schlichter say, are stuck in the past.

Get mad! The "old dogs" need to retire, or be retired, but its damn near impossible to remove the entrenched when so many challengers tear themselves apart and the incumbent get re-elected rather than to vote of a KNOWN socialist in the November elections. What we have seen in LESS than two years is that the entrenched are worthless..... except to their own self interests and they are NOT going to change the arrangement they have with lobbyists and prior knowledge of potential cushy deals. What we have is SPENDING and now, TAXATION without raising h*ll about it at any level-- Those old folks like Yertle the Turtle and Cornyn just go passively along LETTING IT HAPPEN. Dr. Anthony Fauci admitted in a Friday Washington Post report that his $10.4 million financial portfolio was hidden from being easily obtained by American citizens. After watchdogs failed for months to obtain his financial disclosures, Fauci’s 2020 portfolio was obtained and published by Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) on January 14. Fauci’s disclosures were obtained by Marshall after Fauci called the senator a “moron” on a hot mic at a Senate hearing. “Maybe the senator has a point,” Fauci said about the hidden disclosures. “Maybe my financial investments, though disclosed and available, should be much easier to see.” As the highest paid federal employee of the federal government, Fauci must publicly disclose financial statements.

A new report is shedding light on exactly how the DOJ investigation into Donald Trump over supposed “classified documents” at Mar-a-Lago got started. The FBI recently raided the former president’s Florida home, claiming possible violations of the Espionage Act and other national security concerns. What flowed after the unprecedented action was a series of coordinated leaks from inside the government meant to make Trump look guilty of crimes. But how did things get that far? Apparently, it started with the National Archives, which is run by a partisan hack who decided to treat Trump differently from all other presidents before him.

One of the most interesting phenomena in politics at the current moment is how the left wing of the Democrat Party reacts when the Right points out what it is doing. First, the Right notices. Then Democrats tell us that it isn’t happening. When someone from the Right proves it is happening, the Left asks why we care. To capitalize on this little dance, a group named Citizens for Sanity is placing billboards and ads all over the country pointing out the worst excesses of the radical Left. The initial billboard slogans point to some of the worst ideas on the radical Left: “Protect Pregnant Men from Climate Discrimination."

Just in case you needed yet another reason not to take the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) seriously, this story should suffice. The agency released a study on Friday recommending that people wear face masks, among other measures, to avoid catching monkeypox. The problem? The precautions the CDC suggested do not line up with what the data shows about the spread of the illness. This week’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) contained research on the spread of the monkeypox virus through contaminated surfaces. The study centered on two patients who lived together and had contracted the virus.

During the hearing to determine if any of the documents used to get a warrant to raid Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, prosecutors told the judge that the investigation was in its “early stages” and argued to keep all of their documents secret for fear of giving the former president’s lawyers a “roadmap” to their case. Judge Bruce Reinhart said he was inclined to release some of the documents and gave the government one week to come up with a plan to determine which documents would be redacted, released, or remain sealed. “I’m not prepared to find the affidavit should be fully sealed,” he told attorneys for the media,

I remember back when George W. Bush was president and the mainstream media and Democrats (but I repeat myself) would relentlessly dog him whenever he went on vacation as though presidents are ever really “on vacation” whenever they take one. Presidents are, of course, almost always accessible in the event they are needed for official business while they’re on vacation, can make speeches, phone calls, send emails, etc., most anything they can do while at the White House. But there’s a big difference between the supposed leader of the free world taking a break each summer for some downtime and one who is absent from the Oval Office for some “time away”

Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) said Monday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that former President Donald Trump was the first president of the United States “without character.” Schiff said, “We have seen a pattern with Donald Trump, and that is when he’s not held accountable. He goes on to commit worse misconduct. He wasn’t held accountable for his Russia misconduct that led to Ukraine. He wasn’t held accountable for the worst misconduct in Ukraine that led to a literal attack on our democracy on January 6.” He continued, “If he’s not held accountable and ever given an opportunity to exercise power again, we can expect things that are worst still.

On Monday’s edition of NBC’s “Top Story,” Commissioner of the New York City Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs Manuel Castro blamed the city’s poor handling of migrants bused to the city on Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) because Abbott didn’t warn them about the influx of migrants. Host Tom Llamas asked, “So, Commissioner, you know cities in Texas have been dealing with this issue for decades. And now, New York City, Washington, D.C. dealing with the same issues, right now.” Llamas then read criticism from The New York Times of the city’s early handling of the migrants before asking, “So, what’s happening?"

Rep. Jerry Nadler was projected to win Tuesday’s contentious Democratic primary to represent New York’s 12th Congressional District, ousting longtime incumbent Rep. Carolyn Maloney after three decades in office. (Photo) With almost two-thirds of the district’s vote scanners reporting, Nadler had 55.9% of the vote compared to just 25.1% for Maloney. Attorney Suraj Patel, who was challenging Maloney for a third consecutive cycle, had 17.8% New York’s controversial redistricting process pitted the two longtime allies — Nadler, 75, of the Upper West Side, and Maloney, 76, of the Upper East Side — against one other, sparking bad feelings that marred a 30-year career in the House.

Well, it was predicted that this would happen. Less than a full month after it was announced Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) came to an agreement with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) in order to get the misnamed "Inflation Reduction Act" passed, that deal may already falling apart. Such a reveal comes one week after President Joe Biden signed the bill into law. The deal that took place between Manchin and Schumer, as well as Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, assured Manchin that there would be a separate method approved that would involve permits for energy infrastructure, including gas pipelines.

In a major upset victory for President Joe Biden's party, New York Democratic official Pat Ryan narrowly beat Republican Marc Molinaro in a race that remained in a dead heat nearly until midnight on Wednesday. Multiple outlets including the New York Times and NBC News called the race for Ryan with more than 95 percent of the votes counted - and less than 3,000 votes between the two candidates. Ryan will now serve the remainder of former Democrat Rep. Antonio Delgado's term, until the end of the year.

As my colleague Brandon Morse reported, President Joe Biden is about to blatantly break the law to “cancel” thousands of dollars of student loan debt accrued by some of the most privileged members of society. Of course, nothing will actually be canceled. Instead, because the government will simply be out that money, the burden of those debts will be transferred from those who accrued them to hundreds of millions of taxpayers who didn’t. The White House will announce on Wednesday the cancellation of up to $10,000 in student loan debt for for borrowers who make less than $125,000, a source

When I was an undergraduate in the late 1960s, I underwent a kind of transformative experience during a classroom debate with another student that I believed I was clearly winning when the philosophy professor corrected me. He reminded me that when engaged in a philosophical debate, as opposed to the 9th grade Debating Challenge, the point is not simply to vanquish one’s opponent but to find the truth. In order to do the former one may use any means fair or foul to destroy the opponent. For the latter one must do the exact opposite and represent one’s opponent’s position in the strongest terms possible.

No doubt still sulking over the Roe v. Wade reversal — the opening sentence of their recent op-ed published in The New York Times is, “When liberals lose at the Supreme Court — as they increasingly have over the past half-century” — two Ivy League professors laid out their claims for an America without Constitutional limitations. They suggest, “the way to seek real freedom will be to use procedures consistent with popular rule.” Of course, the piece is polished sewage: tyranny of the majority is a very real, and very dangerous threat to the individual, (perhaps they should go read Federalist 10, but they likely wouldn’t understand that either).

Host Neil Cavuto said, “You had said a number of times, doctor, on this show as well, that your response to COVID might not have been perfect, but it was in the times and the fast moments in which you lived and were making those decisions. So, looking back at some of those decisions, including masks – you were first opposed to them and then embraced them – the severity of the epidemic itself and completely shutting down virtually an entire
