Russian President Vladimir Putin blasted the U.S. in speech from St. Petersburg Friday, accusing Washington of believing it is "God’s messenger" and warning that the world order is changing.
"After declaring victory in the Cold War, the United States proclaimed itself to be God’s messenger on Earth," Putin claimed. "They seem to ignore the fact that in the past decades, new powerful and increasingly assertive centers have been formed."
Putin’s speech, which was delayed for over an hour due to an alleged cyber-attack, focused almost solely on attacking the U.S. and its Western allies.

Vlad, the Biden Administration and the Democrats will consider those fighting words, if not an Act of War.
Associating them with God?

They consider their words to a message from god but not because they believe in God.
Perhaps Vlad has lost the “true religion” in the Dims’ eyes and must be punished for betraying the faith.
Meanwhile, joe fall down. And he’s sick of the LIES!!!!!!!

None of the current leaders in the USA believe in God, I am essentially certain.

So much to unpack here.
Putin is clearly suggesting that Russia is one of those new, increasingly powerful centers. No. What your Ukrainian adventure has exposed is a hollow military, not a world class one. And thanks to low birth rates, declining life expectancies, and Russians leaving Russia, you'll be mostly irrelevent within 2 generations. Russia is not a rising power. It is a decaying one.
He is basically proclaiming that after the Cold War, western style liberalism (civil rights, liberty, rule of law, open, free elections, independent media, etc.) was perceived to be the new order. Here, once again, he is saying that corrupt, autocratic police states will not be ignored or treated as inferior!
They are inferior, Vlad. They are.

The world order is changing. Joe Biden has managed to wreck the U.S. dollar dominance of the world economic system. The ramifications are immense. In the next decade, the U.S. will have to learn to live within its means. In the long term, that will be a good thing, as Democrats will be stripped of the power to print money.

Bad news, Vlad. The age of the Russian empire is over. If it's any consolation, the age of America as a superpower is probably over as well. Nobody is listening to America right now. They just look at Biden and know better. Everybody get ready to bow to China!

Has he ever bothered to wonder why his former Warsaw Pact allies don't want to have anything to do with him or Russia? [they voluntarily joined NATO, they did not have to be forced.]
How about why millions of Ukrainians would flee their homes in winter or fight and die to avoid living under his ''leadership''?
Has he ever pondered why they had to build a wall to keep East Berliners from leaving, not to keep West Berliners from entering?

No, Vlad the Impaler, we are not acting like God's messenger, we are merely helping a country defend itself against an unprovoked military invasion.

If Putin could either drop the subject of God entirely or else learn to use it appropriately, that would advance the conversation. He literally is saying that countries with more power are thus likely Messengers of God, which is the opinion of the Fool in Wisdom chapter 3 - "Weakness argues its own futility." That is actually Putin's view. Could he accept that he has not yet learned what the Christian faith says? Because he hasn't. We worship someone who died under torture. Then he resurrected, by this changing the nature of death but only for those who undergo the pain of this life per Love. Got that? So for example flaying people alive as a means of achieving spiritual authority does not add up. see?
