Despite out-of-control inflation, record gas prices, baby formula shortages, record illegal immigration at the southern border, and a newly emboldened Russia and China, Hollywood star Robert De Niro has nothing but praise for President Joe Biden (D), saying he sleeps better at night knowing Biden is in charge.
Robert De Niro spoke about President Biden during an appearance Tuesday on CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. During their conversation, Colbert asked De Niro if he sleeps better knowing that Joe Biden is occupying the White House.
“Yes,” De Niro replied, provoking enthusiastic applause from the audience. “He got us into calm waters, that was always the idea. He’s doing a very good job.

San Francisco on Tuesday voted to recall its progressive district attorney amid rising anger at the city's crime-ridden state.Chesa Boudin, 41, had been widely expected to lose his job and 60.5 per cent of voters made their feelings clear over his woke policies by deciding to recall him.Only 24 percent of the city's electorate of 495,000 turned out, with 70,730 voting against the DA, with some ballots remaining to be counted. Recall proponents cheered the news at a victory party, with California state leaders of the hotel and retailers associations lauding Boudin's removal as

Okay, so she did try to whitewash her accidental admission by switching it to “natural gas” – which is not much different, according to the climate mafia – at the last second. Still, General Motors (GM) spokesperson Kristin Zimmerman has become something of an internet sensation for letting the cat out of the bag that their new “electric” car is charged by a power plant that runs on coal, so basically, their new car at the moment would actually run on about 95 percent coal.
During an unveiling of the new Chevy Volt, Zimmerman demonstrated for the media how the supposedly “green” vehicle...

I thought it would be fun.
That's what I told my friend Mack when I asked her to drive with me from New Orleans to Chicago and back in an electric car.
I'd made long road trips before, surviving popped tires, blown headlights and shredded wheel-well liners in my 2008 Volkswagen Jetta. I figured driving the brand-new Kia EV6 I'd rented would be a piece of cake.
If, that is, the public-charging infrastructure cooperated. We wouldn't be the first to test it.

During a Wednesday discussion about President Biden's upcoming interview with late night host Jimmy Kimmel, CNN media analyst Bill Carter said that the president could use some "exposure that may not be too, you know, challenging for him." "New Day" host Brianna Keilar asked Carter what he thought the president was "hoping to achieve" in appearing on a late night show while suffering from low approval ratings. The president is set to join Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday for his first major interview in over 100 days.
"Clearly this is an appearance meant to, you know, give him a forum where

The White House served up Hollywood star Matthew McConnaughey to lecture us on the virtues of assorted gun control proposals yesterday. He emotes more effectively than press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, but what does he have to offer? He is a native of Uvalde. He feels strongly about the Uvalde massacre. He doesn’t think too much of the Second Amendment. He has a superficial above-it-all take on the culture war. He is a tool of the Biden administration.
Are we seriously supposed to believe that he “feels” more strongly about the massacre than you or I do? That he’s a better person? That he “cares” more? Even if so, which I doubt,

The Biden White House is attempting to deflect from the dire state of affairs — rampant inflation and ever-rising gas prices — as White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Tuesday claimed that the administration understands but asserted that the economy is “in a better place than it has been historically.”“We understand that people are feeling — feeling this. They are feeling the increase of prices, which — with food, in particular, right now, and gas. That is — that is something that we understand,” Jean-Pierre said during Tuesday’s press conference.“What we’re trying to say, what I’m trying to say to you is that the economy is

On Wednesday, as part of a slate of bills aimed at curbing mass shootings and gun violence, the House voted to increase the age required to purchase a semi-automatic rifle from 18 to 21.
The vote was 228 to 199, with ten Republicans joining Democrats in supporting the measure. Those GOP members were Representatives Fitzpatrick, Gonzalez, Jacobs, Katko, Kinzinger, Malliotakis, Salazar, Smith, Turner, and Upton.
After an 18-year-old gunman used an AR-15-style weapon to massacre 19 children and two teachers in a fourth-grade elementary-school classroom in Uvalde, Texas, in May, lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have been moving with urgency

Left-wing comedian Patton Oswalt cracked a joke about the recent threat to Brett Kavanaugh’s life, saying the Supreme Court justice should simply arm up his family, “problem solved.”Patton Oswalt tweeted his ill-timed joke in response to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) call to pass a bill that would expand security for Supreme Court justices and their immediate families in the wake of left-wing protestors demonstrating in front of their homes in response to the high court’s forthcoming decision on Roe v. ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Tampa Bay Rays fans spoke to Fox News about Gov. Ron DeSantis’ decision to veto $35 million in funding for a new training facility.
"We as taxpayers should just worry about bringing lots of … fans to the area and support that," Bonnie, of Bradenton, told Fox News. "The governor has no business in that."
After vetoing the funding, DeSantis said Friday that he doesn't "support giving taxpayer dollars to professional sports stadiums" and that "it's inappropriate to subsidize political activism of a private corporation." The Rays had pledged to donate $50,000 to Everytown for Gun Safety in late May following the Uvalde, Texas, shooting.

They’re not handing out any participation trophies here.A Mississippi woman was fighting tears after her son’s school allegedly “shamed” him by giving the teen a “zero” award in class. Her saga detailing the cruel and unusual punishment is sending shockwaves online.“I think it was so horrible for him to get this award,” Patricia Buckley told local ABC outlet WAPT of the scholastic scarlet letter, which she said her son Bradley, 14, received from a teacher at the Leake Central Junior High School in Leake County. The distraught mom said she first realized something was awry after she picked Bradley up from school and noticed that the award certificate
