As the nation sinks inexplicably into self-created crisis after crisis, debate rages whether Joe Biden is incompetent, mean-spirited, or an ideologue who feels the country’s mess is his success.
A second national discussion revolves around who actually is overseeing the current national catastrophe, given Joe Biden’s frequent bewilderment and cognitive challenges.
But one area of agreement is the sheer craziness of Biden’s cabinet appointments, who have translated his incoherent ideology into catastrophic governance.
Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas has essentially nullified federal immigration law. Over 2 million foreign nationals have illegally crossed the southern border without audit—and without COVID vaccinations and tests during a pandemic.

" ideological rigidity, nonchalance, and sheer incompetence."
One might argue that these characteristics follow from another from necessity. Liberal ideology REQUIRES a lack of intellectual rigor because close examination of liberal tenants exposes them to be proven as failed and absurd. As long as liberals are getting to do things their way, they are, they must be, nonchalant because liberal policies, as well as being failed, are designed to be transformative and change is always distressing. Therefore, they must be calm and carry on with the rigid faith that they are doing the right thing.
The lack of intellectual rigor also, inevitably, leads to incompetence. Competence evolves from inquisitiveness, evaluation, flexibility, and judgement. Liberals cannot allow ANY of these things because they would immediately undermine their ideology. Indoctrination and imperturbable loyalty to their cause is the measure of a successful liberal, NOT the execution or success of their ideas. As long as their dogmatic "intent" is pure, liberals resist evaluation of the outcomes of the actions. With this standard, competence is impossible.

Very well stated, #2. Doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a different result. Or possibly, not even caring what the result is, just keep on doing that same thing over and over.
I notice a distinct lack of any sort of optimism, or positivity, or expressed pride in the American people on the part of the lib government bureaucrats. Fauci, Airhead Granholm, just to name two. It's always doom, gloom, masks forever, inflation forever, higher gas prices, go buy an electric car, etc. So why the heck would anyone vote for you??

Biden's cabinet tends more towards evil than they do mere incompetence. Their destruction is intentional.

V.D.H. hits the nail on the head. Not a single one of these appointments have the mental ability to even run a lemonade stand let alone our government. For the most part I believe the vast majority of federal departments should be shut down for good. They do more harm than good. You know, every time the federal government shuts down over the budget they send home the “Non-essential employees”. If they are not essential why are they being paid to do nothing.” Send them home to stay!

Victor seems afflicted by the very illness that got us into this mess:
"We don’t know why or how such an unimpressive cadre ended up running the government,..."
Really Victor? I disagree. We know exactly how (democrats cheated!) but those who could remedy the fraud are in denial. Come out of the cave Mr. Hanson and bring the Republican Party with you.

Given Biden's double digit IQ, it must be difficult to find people less intelligent. That was also Obama's primary problem. Mensa membership is not a possibility for any of them.
