Russia's top diplomat has warned that NATO is now fighting a proxy war with Russia in Ukraine and there is a 'very serious' risk the conflict could turn nuclear. Sergei Lavrov, speaking on Russian state TV last night, accused western leaders of risking a third world war by supplying heavy weapons to Ukraine with the goal of 'wearing down the Russian army'—an aim he described as an 'illusion'. Accusing NATO and its allies of attempting to bully Russia on the international stage, Lavrov said that tensions between east and west are now worse than during the Cuban missile crisis at the height of the Cold War. Behold the peaceful global utopia the Democrat Socialist Marxists who run our government have made for us, shoveling money to the arms dealers and also trying to kill off as many people as possible since the vaccines didn't work that well.

Hmm. So, Putin invades Ukraine, kills thousands, destroys infrastructure all over the country, and this lying sack of manure, Lavrov says NATO is bullying Russia. Yeah, that makes perfect sense. NOT. Nobody buys this baloney. And again, the Russians threaten nuclear weapons in an entirely unecessary war that THEY started, and try to act like some sort of a victim.

Why do we want Ukraine in nato? So we can put nukes on Russia’s border? We threatened nuclear war when Russia wanted to put nukes in cuba. Are we surprised now? But don’t worry Milley is embroidering “war” on his panties so he’s ready. And madeleine albright’s successor has a new snake brooch to frighten putin with. We’re safe.

If Russia uses nukes, they will become a worldwide pariah and isolate themselves from every worthwhile economic market. It's all bluster on their part. On the other hand, Ukraine is being invaded, so if they use nukes on Russia they can claim self-defense.

I can't remember where I saw this, but it was fairly recent, that Lavrov hasn't spoken with Putin for more than 2 years. I'm just sayin'. And they've got to wonder if their nukes are any more effective than their Army. I'm pretty sure ours are in good working order. #2's comment is interesting as well, and I haven't heard anything about it.

#5,#16,#19,EtAl~ As informational, a former Swiss Intelligence Officer and NATO Adviser, Jacques Baud, participated in an interview that has been described as “the roots of the Ukraine-Russia war and its growing dangers.” An excerpt: https://counterinformation.wordpress.com/2022/04/18/us-eu-sacrificing-ukraine-to-weaken-russia-former-nato-adviser-jacques-baud/ US, EU Sacrificing Ukraine to ‘Weaken Russia’: Former NATO Adviser Jacques Baud By Jacques Baud and Aaron Mate - Global Research, April 18, 2022 - The Grayzone 15 April 2022 AARON MATÉ: As we wrap, I want to ask you about some of THE RECENT ATROCITIES that we’ve seen reported. There were REPORTS OF MASS CIVILIAN KILLINGS BY RUSSIA INSIDE THE TOWN OF BUCHA AND ALSO KILLINGS OF UKRAINIAN FORCES, AND THEN YOU HAD THE ATTACK ON THE TRAIN STATION IN KRAMATORSK. I’m wondering if you’ve evaluated both of these incidents and what you make of them. JACQUES BAUD: Well, there are two things in that. And THE FIRST IS THAT THE INDICATION WE HAVE ON BOTH INCIDENTS TO ME INDICATES THAT THE RUSSIANS WERE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT. But, in fact, we don’t know. I think that’s what we have to say. I mean, if we’re honest, we don’t know what happened. THE INDICATIONS WE HAVE, EVERYTHING, ALL THE ELEMENTS WE HAVE TENDS TO POINT AT UKRAINIAN RESPONSIBILITIES, BUT WE DON’T KNOW. What disturbs me in the whole thing is not so much that we don’t know, because in war there’s always such situations, there are always situations where you don’t know exactly who is really responsible. WHAT DISTURBS ME IS THAT WESTERN LEADERS STARTED TO MAKE DECISIONS WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT’S GOING ON AND WHAT HAPPENED. And that’s something that disturbs me quite deeply, that before having any result of any kind of inquiry, of investigation, and I mean international, impartial investigation, without having that we start already to take sanctions, to make decisions, and I think that illustrates how the whole decision-making process in the West was perverted. ~~~ Additional Information: Sources indicate that George Soros has substantial influence in Ukraine with ties to former President Petro Poroshenko. Soros allegedly boasts that he has “more influence in Ukraine than he does in any other country.” A Ukrainian newspaper (Vesti) chose “Soros in 2019 as second to only President Volodymyr Zelensky. ... Through the organizations financed by him, Soros can influence economic and political life in all of Ukraine.” It is reported that George Soros has spent over $180 million in Ukraine since 1991. In 2015, George Soros was “awarded the Order of Liberty, one of Ukraine’s highest awards” by then-President Poroshenko. https://bongino.com/george-soros-speaks-out-on-ukraine-but-heres-the-real-reason-why George Soros Speaks Out on Ukraine – But Here’s the Real Reason Why by Matt Palumbo - Posted: February 28, 2022 / Fight tech tyranny. My guess is Lavrov is telling us something, not threatening us, and that he is saying there is a faction with power, not necessarily Putin, who want to fight NATO and want to use nukes and he is telling us as best he can to be careful accordingly. Putin was tricked into this, everyone knows that, but who did it and why? We assume it was lazy corrupt flattery but what if not? Among the conspirators I am blaming Kabaeva. She is the necessary person: Putin trusts her, she controls the media, she is ignorant enough to do a wicked thing with no understanding of it, and she is championing the invasion. And the fact she is not subjected to sanctions suggests she has some very scary halo around her, some case for herself that exceeds everyone else's. would like to know egggggg xactly who said to leave her alone. And I like Lavrov.

Boeing unveiled $2.7 billion in charges and added costs across its aircraft portfolio on Wednesday, and expressed doubts over hitting jet delivery targets as technical problems, inflation and supplier risks cloud its path toward recovery. Shares of the US planemaker fell to a nearly 1-1/2 year low after it posted a quarterly loss and announced it was halting 777X production through 2023 due to a fresh delay in its entry into service after certification problems and weak demand. “Another dreadful set of results,” Agency Partners analyst Nick Cunningham said in a client note, adding that a “general sense of disarray continues.”

Mr. Biden will visit the Lockheed Martin facility amid concerns that the U.S. is depleting its supply of long-range, guided Javelin missiles as it continues to ship the weapons to Kyiv to fend off Russian tanks. The White House did not offer any further details about the trip. The visit comes as lawmakers raise concerns about the U.S.’s Javelin missile supply, which has dropped 33% since the Ukraine

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) head solely blamed the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for repealing Title 42, claiming during a hearing on Capitol Hill that the CDC has 'exclusive jurisdiction' of the public health measure. He also said that stopping construction of former President Donald Trump's southern border wall has cost DHS $72 million–but the cost could be much higher considering much of the project falls under the purview of the Army Corps of Engineers,

President Joe Biden is banning traditional incandescent lightbulbs in a push to be more energy efficient, but critics claim the switch to LED alternatives will prove costly for poorer Americans. The Department of Energy (DOE) adopted two new rules Tuesday that strengthen energy efficiency standards for lightbulbs and will effectively phase out the sale of traditional bulbs by next year. However, consumer analysts allege that not only are LED bulbs more expensive, costing nearly $4 each as opposed to $1 for an incandescent bulb, but are often not stocked in stores in lower-income communities. The U.S. has been feeding the Ukrainian military with real-time intelligence on Putin's war plan, which allowed Ukraine to shoot down a Russian transport plane carrying hundreds of troops in the early days of the invasion. Ukraine's successful attack on the Russian IL-76 transport plane near the Kyiv airport in February was conducted after receiving info from the U.S. in an unprecedented intelligence-sharing operation with a non-NATO partner, former and current U.S. officials told NBC. Two such planes were brought down around the same time. Details on which of the two aircraft were shot down thanks to US intelligence have not been shared.

Harvard University President Lawrence Bacow announced Tuesday that the university will spend $100 million to study and redress its ties to slavery. The funds will be put toward a “Legacy of Slavery Fund” to continue researching and memorializing the history, in part by working with descendants of black and Native American people enslaved at Harvard and their broader communities. The announcement follows the release of a report from the Presidential Initiative on Harvard & the Legacy of Slavery project, which Bacow commissioned in 2019. “Harvard benefited from and in some ways perpetuated practices that were profoundly immoral,” Bacow said in an email to the university’s students, faculty and staff members obtained

Attorney General Merrick Garland on Tuesday said there will “not be interference of any political or improper kind” in the Justice Department’s investigation into Hunter Biden’s business dealings. Senator Bill Hagerty (R., Tenn.) questioned the attorney general about the investigation into President Biden’s son during a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing, asking whether Garland himself had been briefed on the investigation. Garland replied that the probe is being led by David Weiss, the U.S. attorney in Wilmington, Delaware who was appointed by former President Donald Trump. “I’m aware of that, but he reports to you,” Hagerty said.
