People are still processing Will Smith’s assault of Chris Rock during Sunday night’s basement-rated Oscar telecast. The shock of the ugliness froze everything. Never before has something like this happened, certainly not at the Academy Awards, which used to be seen as the classiest awards show of them all.(Snip) The very thing that (I believe) triggered Smith’s meltdown — his wife publicly humiliating him as a cuckold, is about to be talked about and examined more than ever. It’s one thing for Jada to have affairs. This is Hollywood, after all. But for her to openly discuss those affairs on a podcast is beyond the beyond.

A school district in Washington state has passed a new policy encouraging administrators to factor in race when disciplining students. The Clover Park School District board approved the new policy on a 3-2 vote on March 14, over the objections of board members who expressed concerns that it was ill-conceived. The district in the suburbs of Tacoma will now use 'culturally responsive discipline' that encourages school staff to impose punishments that 'may be adapted to individual student needs in a culturally responsive manner.' Critics say the new approach is in effect a race-based disciplinary policy that will encourage harsher or lighter punishments based on a student's race,

One of the former CIA officers who signed a letter claiming stories about a laptop allegedly belonging to Hunter Biden were disinformation says he helped swing the 2020 election from former President Donald Trump.
“I take special pride in personally swinging the election away from Trump,” John Sipher, who served for decades as a senior operations officer at the CIA, wrote in a recent post on Twitter.
“I lost the election for Trump? Well then I fell [sic] pretty good about my influence,” he also wrote.
Sipher and 50 other former U.S. intelligence officials signed the letter on Oct. 19, 2020, alleging that the effort to distribute its contents “has all the classic

The Food and Drug Administration has authorized fourth Pfizer and Moderna Covid vaccine doses for everyone age 50 and older, amid uncertainty over whether an even more contagious version of omicron will cause another wave of infection in the U.S. as it has in Europe and China.
The FDA also said it authorized a second Pfizer booster shot for people age 12 and older who have compromised immune systems, and a second Moderna booster for adults ages 18 and older with compromised immune systems. All of the new boosters are to be administered at least fourth months after the last shot.
The FDA made the decision without a meeting

A Disney executive in charge of content vowed to up the ante on gender politics during an all-hands meeting, promising that at least half of the characters in its productions will be LGBTIA or minority by the end of the year. General entertainment president Karey Burke choked up during the company-wide Zoom call Monday, saying the issue hit close to home because of her children. 'I'm here as the mother of two queer children, actually, one transgender child and one pansexual child, and also as a leader,' she said. During the same all-hands meeting, television animation executive producer Latoya Raveneau gushed about Disney's inclusivity.

Joe Biden was never smart.
When I interned in Congress for two summers many years ago, other congressional members openly referred to him as one of the dumbest men on Capitol Hill. Staffers and interns, including ones who worked for Democrats, made fun of him.
Old age and dementia have done this dull man no favors. That was apparent over the weekend when Biden, stupidly even for him, went off script and called for regime change in Russia. It also was apparent a few months ago, when Biden may have precipitated the war by, according to President Zelensky's account of their phone call, encouraging Ukraine to apply

Far-left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said Tuesday that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas should resign in the wake of revelations that his wife sent texts that pushed for the overturn of the 2020 presidential election results. (Snip) “If not, his failure to disclose income from right-wing organizations, recuse himself from matters involving his wife, and his vote to block the Jan 6th commission from key information must be investigated and could serve as grounds for impeachment,” (Snip) Despite the growing criticism of Thomas by Democrats, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) defended the justice,

Mexican authorities have confirmed that 20 people were killed when a group of gunmen stormed a cockfight, in a small town in the western state of Michoacán. Officials and witnesses described a choreographed massacre in which assailants in military uniforms arrived just after 10.30pm on Sunday night and opened fire with assault rifles at the crowds of primarily middle-aged men. Two small trucks, one of them branded with the logo for Sabritas, a potato chip company, were used to block the highway leading to the cockfighting arena. Video filmed by witnesses nearby captured the sound of machine gun fire, which could be heard several miles away.

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) said in an interview with CNN that he was planning “a much deeper dive” into Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s record ahead of the Senate vote to confirm her to the Supreme Court.
Romney has long been known for voting much closer to the center than his GOP colleagues, and some Democrats view him as a potential swing-voter in favor of Jackson.
Romney said that he has not made the decision whether he will vote for her or not, but he was opposed to her nomination to the D.C. District Circuit Court last year. This time around, he promised to look much further into her track record

President Joe Biden was babbling dangerously during his recent trip to Poland to shore up the NATO alliance against Russia’s murderous invasion of Ukraine. And as he babbled and babbled, his White House staff poured sawdust on the puddles and tried cleaning it up again and again.
The man just would not stop.
Biden’s wide-open mouth was a firehose of senile anger, shooting out a torrent of unfocused danger. His words won’t shorten the conflict, but will likely prolong the suffering of the Ukrainian people. His babbling strengthens Vladimir Putin in Russia, while dragging America and the rest of the world ever closer to nuclear confrontation.

While many expected that Brett Kavanaugh, after his brutal treatment at the hands of the left during his mess of a confirmation hearing, would remain firmly entrenched on the right, that doesn’t appear to be the case. Instead, he just sided with the left on a major issue, setting the stage for Team Biden to start discharging unvaxxed Navy SEALs.
While conservative justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and Neil Gorsuch dissented and argued that the SEALs should not be discharged for refusing the jab, Kavanaugh concurred with the leftist majority, writing:

A White House correspondent was mocked online for flattering President Joe Biden on Monday by telling him that he had “more foreign policy experience than any President who has ever held this office” before asking him a question. The statement arose as the president answered questions following his presentation of his budget proposals. The reporter, who was described online as a PBS correspondent (but neither named nor confirmed as such) made the statement before asking about his remarks in Warsaw declaring that Russian President Vladimir Putin cannot remain in power: “Whether those are your personal feelings or your feelings as President, do you understand why people would believe you,
