The European Parliament overwhelmingly voted Thursday to withdraw funding from Hungary and Poland over the two countries refusing to bow to the bloc’s pro-LGBT stance.
Members of the European Parliament (MEP) passed the resolution by a huge 478 votes in favor to 155 against, with 29 abstentions, to withhold funding from European Union (EU) member states that violate the “Rule of Law Conditionality Mechanism.”
The mechanism “makes the receipt of financing from the Union budget subject to the respect by the Member States for the principles of the rule of law,” effectively making any funding from the bloc subject to alignment with the EU’s core “values” of the day, including LGBT

A top Senate Republican is seeking to delay Eric Garcetti’s nomination to serve as President Joe Biden’s ambassador to India, pending an investigation into whether the mayor of Los Angeles lied when he told a congressional panel he was unaware of sexual harassment and assault allegations against his closest adviser.
Investigators in Sen. Chuck Grassley’s (R-Iowa) office are probing what Garcetti knew of longtime political adviser and City Hall confidant Rick Jacobs’ inappropriate behavior toward women and men in and around City Hall. They have also spoken to whistleblowers about the matter. And according to a document obtained by POLITICO, they have asked Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) to try

The Harris County elections commissioner is resigning after 10,000 uncounted ballots for last week’s primary were discovered, according to an announcement posted online on Monday.
“Today I am submitting my resignation, effective July 1,” Isabel Longoria said in the announcement. “I think this date ensures that there is a presiding officer during the May and June elections and allows the election commission the time they need to find a replacement. I remain committed to the office and its mission and hope to aid in defeating harmful rhetoric to ensure successful elections in the future.”
It’s not clear exactly why Longoria was resigning.

THE LANCET Infectious Diseases Safety of mRNA vaccines administered during the initial 6 months of the US COVID-19 vaccination programme: an observational study of reports to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System and v-safe (snip) March 7, 2022.
The CDC published the above paper in The Lancet on March 7, 2022. The legacy media immediately promoted the study as documents that the vaccines are safe and effective. With severe side effects being rare and of short duration.
I began reading this paper (snio) what jumped out at me was that the conclusions reached by the legacy media did not match what I, as a trained physician and scientist, found important.

United Airlines plans to let workers who declined to get a COVID-19 vaccine return to work, according to a missive obtained by The Epoch Times.
Unvaccinated employees can return to their positions on March 28, according to the memorandum, which was sent to workers on Thursday morning.
Kirk Limacher, vice president of human resources at United, said the change was due to the plunge in COVID-19 cases and COVID-19-related hospitalizations across the country in recent weeks. Many states and cities are lifting COVID-19 restrictions, and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention dramatically eased its masking guidance, he noted.

The Chinese regime has accused the U.S. military of running “dangerous” biological labs in Ukraine, appearing to echo a Russian disinformation narrative forming part of Moscow’s efforts to justify its invasion of Ukraine.
“Lately US biological labs in Ukraine have indeed attracted much attention,” Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said at a March 7 regular briefing. “Russia has found during its military operations that the US uses these facilities to conduct bio-military plans.”(snip)
went on to claim that U.S. data showed that the Pentagon controlled 26 labs and other facilities in Ukraine, adding that “All dangerous pathogens in Ukraine must be stored in these labs and all research

Juror No. 50, who’s at the center of a possible mistrial in the Ghislaine Maxwell sex-trafficking case, appeared in federal court on March 8 where he plead the Fifth Amendment—the Constitutional right to refuse to answer questions in order to avoid incriminating himself.
The Honorable Alison J. Nathan, the judge who presided over the case in December, granted him immunity from prosecution with the exception of perjury.

Soon after the jury’s Dec. 29 guilty verdict on five of six counts of sex trafficking of a minor, Juror No. 50 stated publicly he was a victim of childhood sexual abuse and had made this known to his fellow jurors during deliberations.

Beware the false flags. But also beware the fake news and false promises, as they are the means for dangerous ends: increased U.S. and NATO involvement in the war between Russia and Ukraine.
On Thursday, Senator Lindsey Graham – a longtime member of the Washington D.C. war party – called for the assassination of Russian President Vladimir Putin.(tweet)Florida Senator Marco Rubio soon followed with claims that Putin would “use chemical or biological weapons” and “slaughter millions.” This same Marco Rubio has been a proponent of NATO expansion - the very policy that contributed to the environment that led to Russia’s invasion.

Prosecutors have identified 70-year-old brother Dror Sery, a dual citizen of Israel and South Africa, as a co-conspirator in the scheme.
