Whenever a leftist celebrity makes an idiotic statement, I wonder whether it’s just stupidity on their part or underlying evil machinations. I suspect it’s a combination of both. Certainly, these rich, spoiled ignoramuses have no clue as to how the world really works. Rising prices make nary a dent in their bottom line, so what do they know about economic hardship? However, there is most certainly an element of shadow forces dictating their thinking – and useful idiot pawns like late night hosts are the perfect vehicle for indoctrinating the masses.
Unfunny comedian Stephen Colbert is the poster child (and child is indeed the correct word for describing leftist rubes)

Classsic example of a hate rural Americans liberals. If one lives in rural US, farming or supporting farming or working a small local industry, they have to travel to a larger town for healthcare. One needs a cardiologist, pulmonologist, rheumatologist, general surgeon, ICU care and others, have to travel many miles to a larger town. And the cost of gas, cause there isn't a TESLA dealer in Nowhere, USA, means they pay more, a lot more, just to travel to get healthcare. Democrats have no clue why they are losing rural USA. Well, its cause Dems hate the rural rubes and do everything they can to destroy rural Americans lives.

"Cheering audience"
I doubt many in these audiences even know what is going on as they are just being part of the production and paying attention to and doing whatever the studio signs tell them = APPLAUSE!
I watch old Carson Tonight Show reruns and notice the audience laugh and/or applaud and Carson has a look of "why?". I was caught up in Mob Mentality.once- but I was 13 years old and was embarassed afterwards

Colbert's IQ would have to come up 20 points just to considered dumb. How anybody could watch this sniveling, weakling girly man is beyond me. Colbert couldn't shine Johnny Carson's shoes.

I just read yesterday that the new head of cnn used to be Colbert’s show director or producer something like that. I would have paid more attention had I read this article first.

Colbert is an unfunny, leftist, elitist fool. His audience is dumber than a Biden bobblehead toy. Hey CBS, do you really think American's agree with Colbert? ha!

It's what liberals have wanted from the beginning. Force the middle class into the dependent class. That with subverting the election process gets you a good old fashion Socialist Dictatorship, sometimes referred to as Communism. A bad idea to all free people.

The utter disdain the elites in this country have for the people who make this country work is appalling. We are no more than indentured servants in their eyes. We are, in their minds, a necessary evil. We make them rich and they turn around and insult us to our faces and in front of the world. This condescending self-righteous attitude that comes with their feeling of superiority is directed our way for laughs. We are nothing to them. They look down their snooty noses on our values, and our love for country and God. They cannot conceive they could possibly be wrong about anything for they are, the entitled.
I have one question for anyone who is not aligned with the values and political views of these elites and yet still watches these fools, gives good money to see them perform, or supports them in any way, where is your self-respect?

Society puts way too much importance on what celebrities think. They are far out of touch with reality and have no idea how many people hold them in utter contempt. Box office disasters and cratering TV ratings should give them a clue but it doesn’t. I wouldn’t waste 5 minutes of my life worrying about what some late night jackass says.

Okay...poster #1...I agree to a point...BUT... remember WE in rural America can run to the farmer and get eggs and chickens...and the pork and beef are close by...WE know how to bake bread and can goods...WE have farmers market here every weekend...and our fireplaces keep US warm with a healthy supply of logs close by...so don't feel to sorry for US...WE manage nicely....but... when Washington DC can't get their stores filled because the truckers won't deliver...perhaps then they'll know inflation and supply lines disruptions...

As we know the left looks down on those that support President Trump. They believe them to be the worst of the worst of humanity. Uneducated, boorish, and backward. It's an arrogant attitude. Those people they denigrate are the people that keep society going, they're the electricians, plumbers, carpenters, farmers, and the truckers who bring to market everything the snobs depend on.

After the 2016 election, an anchor on a local station in Seattle tweeted...'This election was between the urban and rural and the educated and uneducated.'
Tells you all you need to know about what they think of the people who make this country run.

I watch CBS primetime on some week days but the shows are becoming ridiculous. They either slam White males (all or most are villain's), rural Americans ( all are J6 racists) or US corporations ( oil companies are evil and raping Mother Earth). To make matters worse in between they run promo commercials of that panty waisted clod Colbert's show. He's so tough with his Putin talk knowing that he's all the way in Moscow. He's also an unfunny clown with ABC's Jimmy Kimmel coming in a close second.

Colbert is a tool, always has been. And that's what he would have been after Strangers With Candy--a has been.
I give him credit for reinventing himself as a parody of Bill O'Reilly on The Colbert Report after his time on The Daily Show. He can and has been a very funny guy. Don't believe? Check out Strangers With Candy, Exit 57, or The Dana Carvey Show(all defunct).
But now, I can't stand looking at him--dancing with Chuck Schumer, or any of the nonsense he takes part in on his TV show. I simply refuse to watch.
But Colbert is showing the country how much the elites despise the lower and middle classes.
Yeah, must be nice to own a Tesla. I actually know a couple who owns one.
They love it.
But keep in mind Teslas start at $55,000.00. They START at 55K.
Who has that kind of money?
I won't pay more than 30K for a new car. But given the current state of inflation, due to Pres. Mush Mouth, I may not have a choice.
I hope they're having fun laughing at the working class families who were having trouble making ends meet during the "Covid Pandemic"
And now these same families are having to deal with the cost of food, electricity, and gas, now that the democrats are forcing everyone to deal with supply chain shortages and inflation.
But people like Colbert, who makes millions from his little propaganda dog and pony show, have little regard for the working families of America.
He's just having fun laughing at all the people he sees as idiots, who voted for Donald Trump.
And that's what all these man made catastrophes are really all about, punishing and humiliating people who supported Donald Trump, and those unwashed bumpkins who love freedom, and everything this country has to offer.
Laughing at someone's misfortunes is mean, to be sure.
But engineering the systemic destruction of the country in order to force their idea of a Marxist/Communist utopia IS evil.
And the powers that be will be able to count on puppets like Stephen Colbert to push the party line.
That's why we must keep pushing back.
Don't watch Stephen Colbert, for one thing.
Assume everything Joe Biden and his administration says is true is a flat out lie.
And vote Republican in November.
We have to take back the House and Senate, in order to grind the Joe Biden/Ron Klain/Barack Obama junta to a halt.
Then we need to take back the White House in 2024.
Don't buy the argument for a new Civil War.
We are in a Civil War, and have been for years. And the other side is winning.
It may be a cold war for now.
But if we don't wrest our country back from these despots, it could get hot.
I hope and pray it doesn't get to that point.

According to several web sites, this jackass now makes $16 million a year from the show and all other sources and is worth about $75 million! Oh ... gas at $10 a gallon is really going to hurt him!
And does anyone believe this prig actually PAYS for gas? Between the company car and being chauffeured everywhere he wouldn't know what a gas pump was if it bit him on the hiney.
What an effete, elite tool!

Okay, there are plenty of posts above this, so not many will read this. But it all reminds me of when Ricky Gervais hosted the Golden Globes a couple of years back. He began by telling these stuffed shirt celebrities and show biz folks:
"So if you do win an award tonight, don’t use it as a platform to make a political speech. You're in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg. So if you win, come up, accept your little award, thank your agent and your god, and [get off the stage]."
