When will we ever learn not to fret over what’s going on in the world? Our Democrat party overlords know what’s best for us, and all we have to do is simply follow their suggestions. After all, their solutions are so simple.
Take high gas prices for example. So many of us peons worry about the skyrocketing price of gas at the pump, but America’s brilliant Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg has a fix for gas prices that’s so easy it’s almost ridiculous. Why, you just need to buy an electric vehicle, you silly goose.
“Clean transportation can bring significant cost savings for the American people as well,” Buttigieg said

A comprehensive new United Nations-sponsored assessment of climate change finds that global warming is reshaping the world more rapidly and severely than was known several years ago. Why it matters: The report finds that climate change is affecting every person's physical and mental health, and classifies nearly half of the global population as being "highly vulnerable" to climate impacts. Former Attorney General William Barr said he believes former President Donald Trump is morally responsible for the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol but isn't legally culpable.Asked by NBC News' Lester Holt whether he considered Trump "responsible" for the violence at the Capitol, Barr said: "I do think he was responsible in the broad sense of that word, in that it appears that part of the plan was to send this group up to the Hill. I think the whole idea was to intimidate Congress. And I think that that was wrong."But, he added, he hasn't seen evidence that Trump committed an actual crime.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and Kamala Harris on Monday delivered remarks on providing ‘clean’ transportation to America.
Buttigieg, the small town mayor who has no idea what he’s doing, told rural Americans to buy electric vehicles to save money on gas. Kamala Harris chimed in with some inspirational quotes for the American people.
“Our transportation sector has reached a turning point. We are all in the midst of a turning point,” Harris said. “We have the technology to transition to a zero emission fleet.” “We have the ability to see what can be, unburdened by what has been. And then to make the possible actually happen,” she added.

Vice President Kamala Harris and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg on Monday pushed a transition to green energy and electric cars as Americans face record high prices at the pump. As gas costs soar and more workers are returning to the office as covid numbers fall, President Joe Biden's administration announced a $3.7 billion boost for public transportation, including an investment in new fleets of electric buses. 'We are all in the midst of a turning point. We have the technologies to transition to a zero emission fleet,' Harris said during the announcement. 'We can address the climate crisis and grow our economy at the same time.'

The White House on Sunday rejected the argument that increasing domestic oil production would help lower gas prices, as the cost of oil moves toward record highs. Crude oil prices rose as high as $130.50 a barrel on Sunday evening. White House press secretary Jen Psaki released a set of talking points on social media, arguing against a focus on boosting oil production in the United States. “It’s a reminder that real energy security comes from reducing our dependence on fossil fuels,” Psaki wrote, noting that Russia’s continued invasion of Ukraine was causing a spike in oil prices. Psaki pushed back against Republicans calling for more domestic oil production.

President Joe Biden announced on Tuesday the United States would target 'the main artery of Russia's economy' with a ban on energy imports from Moscow, while acknowledging the financial squeeze it would put on Americans already paying record-high prices at the pump. 'Americans have rallied support -- have rallied to support the Ukrainian people and made it clear we will not be part of subsidizing Putin's war,' Biden said at the White House. He also hit back at Republican accusations that his administration cut back US oil and gas production -- pointing out that he actually pumped more oil than his predecessor Donald Trump did during his

Within MAGA circles, talk is turning increasingly to impeaching Joe Biden after the midterm elections—assuming, of course, the Republicans retake the House of Representatives (which appears likely). Unfortunately, actual removal would require 60 votes in the Senate. Even under the most favorable scenario, it’s unlikely the GOP will pick up more than four Senate seats.
Nonetheless, with the strong likelihood the Republicans will take control of the House, impeaching Biden looks viable. Why? Well, for the same reason a Democrat-controlled House impeached Donald Trump—twice.
The Democrats used the impeachment process to persuade millions of middle-of-the-road and independent voters that Trump had done something terribly wrong. Of course, the Democrats’ two impeachment efforts were frivolous

On Sunday’s broadcast of NBC’s “Meet the Press,” former National Security Council Senior Director Fiona Hill insisted former President Donald Trump, despite being out of office for more than a year, played a role in Russian President Vladimir Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine.
Hill argued that Trump’s request for a “personal favor” set the wheels in motion for the invasion.
“[I] think there’s just the one point that sums everything up that you yourself touched on is that President Trump at a pretty critical period, withheld military assistance to Ukraine that was desperate for it at that particular junction, basically to get Volodymyr Zelensky to do him a personal favor,” Hill said.

On Monday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “All In,” Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-OR) argued that in order to undermine Russia’s power, we have to “end our dependence on oil and have the world transition to renewable energy.” Because Russia will be able to sell oil as long as there’s demand for oil, and called for a “climate emergency.”
Merkley said, “As long as there is a world market for oil, Russia will be able to sell its oil. And so, unfortunately, not all my colleagues yet understand that the way to undercut the power of Russia is to end our dependence on oil and have the world transition to renewable energy.”

Republican Senator Rick Scott of Florida, who chairs the National Republican Senatorial Committee, doubled down on his pledge to raise most Americans’ taxes if the GOP retakes the Senate in this year’s midterms.(snip) “Here’s what’s not fair,” he said. “We have hard-working Americans – they’re paying all these taxes, and retirees pay them. Who’s not? We’ve got some billionaires not paying it, and we got people that want free government stuff and they don’t want to have any skin in the game. That’s not fair.”

Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV), a Democrat who has consistently opposed measures to make America energy independent, took thousands in donations from lobbyists for the Russian Nordstream 2 pipeline.
As gas prices surged to the most expensive ever recorded on Monday, the revelations about Cortez Masto could severely jeopardize her 2022 reelection campaign. Gas prices on Monday soared in Nevada to at least $4.590 per gallon — the second-highest in the nation behind Hawaii — and even as this happened, the Democrat senator has regularly opposed initiatives that would reduce gas prices and increase American energy independence.
For instance, Masto has opposed the Keystone Pipeline, drilling on federal lands,
