Hurricane Katrina had nothing on the collective panty wetting by the regime media when Governor Ron DeSantis told a bunch of teens to divest themselves of their ridiculous face thongs. Apparently, older males teaching younger ones not to act like serfs is now “bullying” instead of exactly what should happen. Yeah, if there’s one thing America has too much of it is positive male influences on younger men. Now, if the Governor’s righteous chastisement constitutes bullying – which it doesn’t, but go with it – then let’s have more bullying.

Just what is at stake in Ukraine? Oh, maybe everything. Besides the horrendous loss of life, the conscription of young Ukrainian boys to repel Russian soldiers' advance, the streaming of hundreds of thousands of homeless refugees across Europe, and widespread property destruction, the war has become an immediate referendum on the West's cherished "rules-based international order."

The United States is suffering from a border crisis, historic inflation, high gas prices, and a labor shortage, among other things, and Russia is invading Ukraine and is threatening a nuclear World War III… Yet, according to Kamala Harris, it’s time to start worrying about preferred pronouns.
This is not a joke. Well… it is, actually… but, Kamala Harris really does think that now is the time to start pushing LGBTQ issues.
On Thursday, Harris tweeted, “Let’s send the Equality Act to President Biden’s desk. We must increase protections for LGBTQ+ Americans across the country. The onslaught of state bills targeting transgender Americans and their families is wrong.”

As a retired oilfield training engineer, I have traveled to 38 different countries. I have worked in Russia and China. I have never been in Ukraine but I have been in Romania, which is just across the border. Not once in my travels to these countries has any of their citizens come to me and said, “We love Americans and want them to like us. To promote greater friendship with America, we make American visitors feel welcome. To do so, we give them large sums of money. We would like to give you three million dollars. Yours is in this package.

The Left’s war on the National Rifle Association has been ongoing for months. New York Attorney General Letitia James has vowed to dissolve the organization through a series of legal actions aimed at exposing the allegations of fraud and corruption among the upper crust of the group. The NRA is one of the nation’s oldest civil rights organizations, though how they’ve spent their donors’ money, among other things, has drawn immense scrutiny. Some items purchased with these funds were not earmarked properly. A wedding does not enhance or promote Second Amendment rights.

Not surprisingly, President Biden’s SOTU speech was a pack of lies from start to finish. He takes no responsibility for baiting Putin into attacking Ukraine by threatening to welcome them into NATO. He never meant it of course. It was all a ploy, a disaster of his own making by stopping our own Keystone pipeline and all oil drilling on federal land the day he took office and ending the sanctions President Trump had put on Nord Stream 2, the Russian pipeline to Germany. Biden’s own incompetence and capitulation to the insane climate alarmists pulling his strings forced Germany into the economic arms of fuel-rich Russia.

Yes, this is a puff piece. But when you spend your days reading about Ukraine, the economy, the border, and all the other miserable things in 2022, and then spend another two hours on Biden’s state of the union address (one hour listening to it and a second hour writing about it), you have to take pleasure wherever you can find it. And—oh, my goodness!—did I find it in a video someone grabbed of a local Pittsburgh news station’s report about a local crime. (Hat tip: Twitchy.)
What you must understand is that the news report ran a few hours before the state of the union address.

After seeing what a real leader looks like -- in Ukraine -- we return to our regularly scheduled clown show back in Washington.
Which brings us to Kamala Harris, who was introduced by Jill Biden as "President Harris" (a joke, of course) ahead of President Biden's State of the Union address Tuesday.
She came out to speak, and well, see if you disagree with the guy who created this tweet: (snip) She does sound like a parody of herself -- flip, sarcastic, drunk-ish, gulping, self-satisfied, signature giggles thrown in -- and not at all serious.

When I think of former Attorney General William Barr, I think of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Part of him is an upstanding figure who respected constitutional limitations; another part of him is a loyal swamp creature who desperately wanted to serve a milquetoast George W. Bush (or George H.W. Bush) only to find himself working for a vigorous, aggressive Donald J. Trump. Both those aspects of his personality apparently come through loud and clear in a new 600-page book (and doorstop) in which he narrates his stints as U.S. Attorney General under both George Bush, Sr., and Donald Trump.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton went on MSNBC this morning to discuss the war Russia is waging on Ukraine. During a back and forth with the show hosts, Clinton proclaimed Americans who give "comfort" to Putin must be "called out."

President Joe Biden is absolutely committed to punishing Russian President Vladimir Putin for his aggression in Ukraine. You can’t turn on the TV without some clip of the silver haired, senile embodiment of Jeff Dunham’s puppet Walter insisting he’s willing to do whatever it takes to make the butcher of Moscow pay for his evil actions. In spirit, I agree with him. In spirit, Biden actually imposed sanctions that matter, that hurt. In reality, he didn’t do a damn thing. Putin’s power comes from money, most of Putin’s money comes from oil and gas. It stands to reason that if you’re trying to punish him

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) touted President Joe Biden's response to Russia launching an invasion of Ukraine, saying Friday that the president's experience working on foreign policy has prepared him for an event like this. Speaking to reporters, Pelosi highlighted the "brilliance" of Biden's handling of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
"I think it's really important for people to understand the brilliance with which President Biden is conducting this," Pelosi said, according to Fox News' Chad Pergram. "This is a man who served decades as chair of the Foreign Affairs
