There are bad takes, and then there are BAD takes. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s public denouncement of the growing and sustained freedom protest in Ottawa and across Canada falls into the latter category. After fleeing the country on the fake premise of a possible Covid exposure, the boosted and negative-testing PM returned to parliament to attach more slanderous motives to a group of people he has already labeled as fringe and white supremacists. Take a listen as Trudeau utters complete nonsense:

Comments:

There are plenty of other words I'd like to use, but profanity is no allowed on Lucianne. Therefore, let me say this: Trudeau is a clown.

People like Trudeau and our own Biden are wannabee dictators. What they are doing has nothing to do with Democracy. Countries like Canada, the USA, Britain, and Australia seem to be all following the same road to Totalitarianism. We may be seeing the death of Western style Democracy.

There’s that word again - democracy. Canada is no more a democracy than is the US. It is a constitutional monarchy. When the left uses the word, they are referring to democrat party power and nothing else.

Trudeau is blocking the trucker's freedom, and their right to make a living. Declaring war on the truckers is not going to work, as they have to make a living, and they are not going to be stopped.

So, if the Right protest it is blocking democracy and when the left does it is a fight for freedom The truckers need to go back home and refuse to deliver to Ottawa at all nor any other means of places that would ship forward to Ottawa. Let them starve since they have no means of supplying food for themselves.

Sweden halted its COVID-19 testing regime on Wednesday, even for those who are showing symptoms of infection, as many European countries end pandemic restrictions, the Associated Press reported. The country’s mobile city-square tent sites, drive-in swab centers and home-delivered tests, which each provided key data to track the virus’ spread, have ended, the AP reported. Only symptomatic health and elderly care workers and the most vulnerable will be entitled to free PCR tests moving forward. “We have reached a point where the cost and relevance of the testing is no longer justifiable,”

Has Called For Tech Censorship

The Biden administration has frequently urged social media and technology companies to censor users, stressing the perceived dangers of “misinformation.” White House press secretary Jen Psaki drew criticism after she said Tuesday that Spotify and other social media companies need to be “doing more” to stop the spread of “mis- and disinformation” on their platforms, echoing calls made in July for Facebook to remove posts containing vaccine misinformation. Psaki’s comments were in response to a question regarding backlash towards podcast host Joe Rogan, with whom Spotify has an exclusive contract, for hosting two guests who were skeptical of the COVID-19 vaccine’s safety and efficacy.

The North Carolina state Supreme Court rejected a congressional district map passed by the state legislature, ruling that the legislature created an unconstitutional partisan gerrymander. The map, passed along party lines, created ten safe seats for Republicans and three safe seats for Democrats, with one competitive district. Democratic officials immediately challenged the map in the Wake County Circuit Court, where Republicans initially won. The plaintiffs were represented by the Elias Law Group, an elections litigation firm founded by prominent Democratic attorney Marc Elias.

The vaccines are 95% effective at preventing infection ? Breakthrough infections everywhere. The vaccinated can’t spread COVID (“Get vaccinated to protect grandma”) ? The vaxxed are as infectious as the naive unvaccinated and significantly more infectious than recovered unvaccinated. The vaxxed can become superspreaders like Typhoid Mary, because they are equally or more infectious, but with suppressed symptoms. After getting fully vaccinated, you’ll be done for good ? Boosters are required, because the vaccine provides some protection for only a few months and only against a specific variant.

Opposing mask mandates in schools has quickly become the new hot take of the week in America’s leading legacy newsrooms. The New York Times, The Washington Post, NPR and The Atlantic all ran pieces this week arguing that mask mandates for schoolchildren are unnecessary, harmful, or both. NPR’s piece was more of the reporting variety, while the others were strictly opinion, but all of them shared a common thread: newly advocating for a position that some, particularly conservatives, have been calling for for months and years. On Monday, the Washington Post published an op-ed from three medical experts calling to end mask mandates in schools. The Atlantic joined in on Tuesday.

Once upon a time in 60’s and 70’s America, public service commercials about *Radio Free Europe” filled our television airwaves. The ads appealed for help for people who were living “behind the Iron Curtain.” Here’s one of the most iconic commercials from that time. If you were a kid living in America, you couldn’t imagine how any country could stifle news and information, crush dissent or persecute dissenters simply for thinking for themselves. Yet, in 2022 America we are seeing a tacit acceptance of exactly that. During the course of the madness that promoted “defunding” or abolishing the police, there was an emphasis placed on replacing police in some circumstances with “community safety” workers who would supposedly act as unarmed “violence interrupters” and reduce the number of lethal use of force incidents by police officers. In Baltimore, Maryland’s violent gang territories, an existing organization known as the “Safe Streets Program” gained a lot of attention and municipal support in this effort. The goal of the program is to deploy former gang members (or “former”) into areas controlled by the gangs to negotiate nonviolent resolutions to conflicts.
