During the course of the madness that promoted “defunding” or abolishing the police, there was an emphasis placed on replacing police in some circumstances with “community safety” workers who would supposedly act as unarmed “violence interrupters” and reduce the number of lethal use of force incidents by police officers. In Baltimore, Maryland’s violent gang territories, an existing organization known as the “Safe Streets Program” gained a lot of attention and municipal support in this effort. The goal of the program is to deploy former gang members (or “former”) into areas controlled by the gangs to negotiate nonviolent resolutions to conflicts.

Packers’ QB Aaron Rodgers called out President Joe Biden’s claims that it’s a “pandemic of the unvaccinated.”
“When the president of the United States says, ‘This is a pandemic of the unvaccinated,’ it’s because him and his constituents, which, I don’t know how there are any if you watch any of his attempts at public speaking, but I guess he got 81 million votes,” the Green Bay star shared during his interview with ESPN in a piece published Friday. “But when you say stuff like that, and then you have the CDC, which, how do you even trust them, but then they come out

Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm blamed a “clerical error” for serial violations of the law that governs the reporting of securities transactions, according to Insider.
Granholm violated the STOCK Act nine times in 2021, Insider first reported Thursday. The secretary filed two reports with the Office of Government Ethics on Dec. 15 and 16 detailing nine stock transactions that she conducted between April 30 and Oct. 26. All nine transactions fall outside the 45 day window that the STOCK Act mandates government officials report their trades within, according to Insider. “This was an inadvertent clerical oversight on reporting stock sales that ethics officials previously determined did not pose a conflict

Margaret Brennan, host of CBS’ “Face the Nation,” expressed her concern about President Joe Biden’s ability to lead the U.S. and NATO out of the crisis currently brewing between Russia and Ukraine while speaking with National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan.
Citing former CIA director Mike Morrell, Brennan said, “This comes down to a matter of American credibility, which will be lost if Vladimir Putin defies President Biden.”
“That’s what is- what is at stake here, Jake. I mean, we’ve been talking about the president’s approval ratings being on the decline since that chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan.

In this installment of their weekly Sunday Six conversation, PF Whalen and Parker Beauregard of The Blue State Conservative discuss six examples of the ruination of the once-great Cable News Network (CNN) .
#6: The ratings for CNN continue to crash.
PF: It strikes me that many of our readers, particularly millennials, may be surprised to see our labeling of CNN as “once-great.” Anyone who only became aware of the network in the last decade or two likely assumes CNN has always been essentially just another branch of the Democratic Party’s communication department. But that assumption would be incorrect. While CNN, like most other news networks, has always leaned to the left,

A Republican and Democratic senator introduced legislation Friday that aims to end U.S. reliance on rare-earth metals sourced from and produced in China.
The Restoring Essential Energy and Security Holdings Onshore for Rare Earths (REEShore) Act would prevent supply disruptions and bolster domestic production of the minerals, according to Sens. Tom Cotton and Mark Kelly, the bill’s sponsors. They said the legislation is important for American national security and development of advanced technologies. “The Chinese Communist Party has a chokehold on global rare-earth element supplies, which are used in everything from batteries to fighter jets,” Cotton said in a statement.

Some social media users have begun tracking the stock trades of several elected officials in an effort to beat the market, as bipartisan attempts to ban members from trading have begun to heat up.
35 members of Congress outperformed the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust, an index fund that tracks the 500 most valuable stocks in the world, according to a chart that circulated on several social media platforms, including the notorious WallStreetBets subreddit. The member who most outperformed the S&P 500 index in 2020, Republican Georgia Rep. Austin Scott, briefly trended on Twitter after the report was released by Unusual Whales,

An internal poll shows Republican Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan with a big lead in a hypothetical 2022 Senate matchup with Democratic incumbent Chris Van Hollen.
Maryland will elect a new governor in 2022 as Hogan becomes term-limited out of office, and the popular governor has not yet announced his next move. An internal poll shared with the Daily Caller found that, if he chooses to run for Senate, Hogan would currently lead Van Hollen by a 49%-37% margin. While a Senate run has not been ruled out by Hogan, others have speculated he will instead opt to run for president in 2024.

The late Harry Reid returns to the U.S. Capitol this week to lie in state – the very place where he spent a significant portion of his adult life, serving the people of Nevada and his party as Senate majority leader. Reid was in the mold of another legendary Senate majority leader, Lyndon Johnson – someone for whom political power far outweighed any strongly held ideological beliefs.
Reid’s expedience sometimes led him to do the right thing, even if it didn’t come from a place of deep conviction. In the early to mid-1990s, as he was trying to climb the ranks of the Democratic leadership structure in the Senate,

Twitter suspended Daily Wire podcast host Matt Walsh Friday for his posts that counter-argued the gender identity of transgender people.
The platform suspended Walsh for 12 hours for tweets containing statements refuting transgenderism by pointing to biological facts rather than “gender identity.” The suspension could be extended if the censored tweets are not removed from the podcast host’s account.
“The greatest female Jeopardy champion of all time is a man,” Walsh said in a Dec. 30 tweet, according to the Daily Wire. “The top female college swimmer is a man. The first female four star admiral in the Public Health Service is a man.

A former aerospace company executive accused embattled Democratic New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham on Monday, as well as several of her appointees, of retaliating against him after he filed a whistleblower complaint.
Zach DeGregorio, the former Chief Financial Officer of Spaceport America, alleges that one of Grisham’s political appointees, Alicia Keyes, encouraged him to falsify an economic impact study. He also alleges that Keyes mishandled a bond refinancing for the purpose of defrauding the state. When DeGregorio attempted to report the wrongdoing, he claimed, he was threatened with investigations and a firing.

It's worth noting, Aaron Rogers isn't exactly a MAGA, right-winger. The guy went to University of California, Berkeley and wears a man-bun for Pete's sake. The Dems are in a freefall.
