Even with his own low approval numbers, President Joe Biden is leading both former President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in a pair of direct match-ups long ahead of the 2024 election. Biden leads Trump by 10 percentage points–43 to 33–in a new Marquette Law School poll released Thursday. That poll has 16 percent backing 'someone else.' It comes even as Trump has been hammering Biden throughout his presidency, and stepping up his own activity with a rally last week in Arizona and another planned for Texas this coming Saturday. Biden's lead over DeSantis, who has been in the news as he challenges the administration

If President Trump decides to run, he needs to state he will only serve 2 of the 4 years on his remaining 4-year term.
He then elevates whoever he picks for VP, whom I would recommend being Sen. Tim Scott.
He would need to resign, to allow the expected GOP Majority the ability to confirm Scott's VP (the 25th amendment comes into play)
The 25th Amendment says that: “In case of the removal of the President from office or of his death or resignation, the Vice President shall become President.”
Its next section reads: “Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.”

I looked at the poll results themselves, not just the article. I don't see where the methods used are indicated. I don't know whether these are likely voters, all Americans, or registered voters. How were respondents chosen? Were landlines called or cell phones or both?
Without this kind of information, the report and the article are meaningless -- except to say that the report and the article are incomplete.

Nationwide poll of "1000 Adults"...6% of whom stated they had no intention of voting for anyone.
Not registered voters, not likely voters...not even Voters.
Trump 333, Biden 434, Skipped question, won't vote, will vote for someone else 233.
So, a "poll" of 767 random people all across the country.
Yet they find headlines by stating, (with a 4% margin of error)...the exact OPPOSITE of what EVERY professional, well known, BIG survey, Poll has repeatedly and consistently found.
Here is the Whole "Poll", LOTS of other questions..including about favorability of SC justices, 2nd amend., abortion...pending cases. https://law.marquette.edu/poll/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/MLSPSC06Toplines.html#P9:_Trump_vs_Biden_2024

With the next POTUS election over two and a half years away, polls like this are not serious, they're wet dream material conducted by libtards desperate for a blade of grass to cling to. Marquette Law should be embarrassed by such buffoonery, but I suspect that rather than embarrassed they're probably rather proud of themselves.
