DC Metropolitan Police officer Michael Fanone, who was attacked during the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol in Washington, DC, has handed in his resignation and will become a law enforcement commentator at CNN following his departure. 41-year-old Fanone resigned Monday, slamming his fellow police officers within the department by stating that many of their allegiances are with former President Donald Trump, not the Constitution, according to the Daily Mail. The FBI and police mounted a search for two men suspected of robbing U.S. Representative Mary Gay Scanlon of her automobile at gunpoint on Wednesday in a Philadelphia park following a meeting there with other elected officials, according to her spokeswoman and police.

Joe Biden has promised to deliver 500 million Covid tests but hasn't even signed a contract to buy them or set up a website so that people can place orders.
'That's not a plan - it's a hope,' Jennifer Nuzzo, an epidemiologist at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, told The New York Time.
'If those tests came in January and February, that could have an impact, but if they are spread out over 10 to 12 months, I'm not sure what kind of impact it is going to have.'
