Investors and journalists have been openly questioning whether Apple CEO Tim Cook, once praised for his deep-rooted connections within the CCP, has allowed his relationships in China to sour as the US has stepped up criticisms over human rights - treatment of the Uyghers in Xinjiang and elsewhere - and Taiwan. These ties have grown intensely controversial, eliciting criticism from lawmakers, rivals and even the company's own employees. And just as the SEC prepares to boot dozens of Chinese companies off of US stock exchanges for refusing to comply with US audit standards (something the CCP has expressly forbidden under the auspices of data privacy), reporters

Apple is in the business of making and selling iphones and other things. It does not surprise me that they would make the best deal they could with China. Lawmakers are not disturbed with Joe and Hunter's deals with China, so they need to get over it.

Personally, I think any communication device used in America should be MADE in America, with parts made by America or a close ally. (Taiwan?). I don't trust Apple, Google, Facebook, or most of the other Tech giants to protect the privacy or integrity of their American consumers. I think random deep examinations should be done of all of their products and services to look for traps and hidden hardwired technological spyware.
And if such is found, heads should roll at the companies.

Uyghers, Child Labor, Slaves of the Chinese Govt...The NBA turns a blind eye to this, why not Apple?
The only cure to all these issues is that EVERY COMMUNIST needs a seat on the next rocket to the SUN!

Don’t think for a second if you use Siri or Alexa that your private conversations within range of the device are actually private conversations. Turn them off and I mean OFF if you don’t want the U.S. government and China to know your thoughts.

It's official. Apple has joined the Communist Party and is totally anti-American.

China is willing to play hardball with Apple. With Biden being in China's pocket, you know nothing will happen to Apple.

Any work done in China is done using slave labor as China is a slave state.

Sales of the iPhone are not as high as expected. I hope both Apple and Xi lose their shirts on their latest spy device.

This is the least of it; The CCP apparently has their hand in everything. Just look at the NBA. And it's been reported that a third of Chinese university students in America are spies for the CCP. Makes sense to me. Why are so many young people from a communist country coming to America for an education? Is it so they can learn about freedom and democracy? Probably not.
Not to mention the fact that a lot of universities are getting grant money from the CCP (Marxist professors) and Mitch McConnell's wife is basically a CCP mole, whose family are high-ranking members, and own a Chinese shipping company. (Mitch is now worth 55 million on a Senator's salary). And the CCP is one of AT&T's largest stock holders and who knows how many other US corporations.
Why are the CCP, a bunch of wretched freedom-hating communists, allowed free access to every segment of America? They are taking us down from within.

Well folks...time to think about another phone...I've enjoyed my apple phone for years...but customers must think for themselves...and I will withdraw my support from a company that means to harm America...any suggestions?...I'm an American and will not help a company damage America...just as my community has stopped buying coke products for months...the supermarket shelves are full of coke and Pepsi ...and Dr. Pepper flies off the shelves....just found out LL Bean products are mostly imported...so no new slippers and gloves for my grand babies...when they use American companies to manufacture their products...I might be back...
