On Tuesday, November 30, a 15-year-old boy allegedly used a firearm belonging to his father to open fire on classmates, killing four students. The morning of the attack, school administrators met with the boy’s parents and showed them disturbing notes found that day indicating the boy was willing to do harm to himself and others. The boy also was caught searching for ammo on his phone just days before the shooting.
But, rather than disciplining the child, the school simply gave the parents the option of pulling him out of class or leaving him in school following a meeting with school officials.
How about just a little bit of common sense? Just a little.

Will the school officials and teachers who support this nonsense also be charged as accessories? This was avoidable. They seemed to know far more than even his own parents did, which is no great shock since the answer to "How was school today, dear?" from any teen is usually "Fine."

as for "the thoughts won't stop, help me" - fwiw, prayer does realign people. There isn't something else that works. It is unfortunate people hate God, because there's nothing like Him. The Hail Mary is especially famous for ending nightmares and so on. I am sorry everybody ignores the Mother of God because there again, whether we like it or not, she has a role and there's no substitute. it is just kind of futile hating the Maker and his designated deputies for this and that. For peace of mind, the Hail Mary, and if you don't like it, maybe I can say it for you and who knows that may work.

I'm not a big fan of "coulda, woulda, shoulda...." kinds of finger pointing after an adverse event. A lot of things that are "obvious" after the fact are NOT obvious before.
But, all by itself, the drawing and writing seems to call for immediate removal of the child from school, and a look into his locker and backpack wouldn't seem out of order, at that point.
The drawing/writing seems pretty clearly oriented towards a mental problem, and potential violence.
And ......then, next time, we'll have the brainless "zero tolerance" fools arresting and cuffing kids for pointing a finger or a partially eaten Pop-Tart at someone - calling that a 'credible threat of violence', which is absolutely ridiculous.
It would be so, so wonderful if there was a bit of common sense left in the world, but it's gotten so rare that it's almost like some super power. It used to actually be common. Really.

I'm curious to know whether any of the students had disciplinary action for acts against the shooter. I think that is also a valid line of questioning. Was he bullied? What was done about it. Were parents informed? The build up to this crime is almost as important as the other things mentioned.
When I was growing up, I frequently had to deal with bullies. I faced them down and took my lumps. When a teacher or principal mediated, I spoke frankly about the situation. In Jr. High and High School I regularly had to deal with gangs of bullies coming after me because I would protect the smaller kids. One was two grades ahead of me, a 'hero' football player who could bench 350 lbs and liked to use his strength to augment his lunch funds.
I had the access to do what this kid did, but there were a couple of things that derailed it.
1. Punishment was not 'no-fault'. The administrators listened to the evidence and gave a verdict.
2. You were allowed and expected to defend your fellow students from harm.
3. Students who bullied regularly were warned, then suspended, then expelled. There wasn't even any of this modern 'Pschycology' B.S. You played by the rules or you were out. Go get your own counseling.

Why didn't any of them bother to ask where the gun was? These parents are clueless and the school administration as well allowing such a lack of discipline to exist! Time to start being concerned over more than CRT, using "Proper" pronouns, allowing transgenders to roam freely in restrooms of their choice = keeping everyone "happy" and stop ignoring any signs of behavior that can harm other students!

Soft on Crime soft on criminals soft on spotting danger when it is right in front of your face. Victims should sue the school for gross negligence.

It didn't occur to anyone that hearing voices could be a symptom of serious mental illness?

The schools are not qualified to deal with mentally disturbed, possibly psychotic, kids. Should not be allowed to even try. In the Miami-Dade School District, similar nonsense was promoted to make minority kids’ crime stats look better. Remember Trayvon Martin?

Re the “bullying”, of which there is no evidence, I believe it is more apt to be shunning. Fairly normal kids simply avoid the strange ones, the outliers, the weird ones. That is not bullying, but it could add to those odd-man-out kids distress and anger.
We are too quick to go for “bullying”...

Years ago I was a member of an auxiliary that supported a home/institution for mentally disturbed children. The ages started at 3. Yes, there are psychotic children. We hear of them when their baby brother or sister is smothered.
