During the 2020 election, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg spent hundreds of millions of dollars to turn out likely Democratic voters. But this wasn’t traditional political spending. He funded a targeted, private takeover of government election operations by nominally non-partisan — but demonstrably ideological — non-profit organizations.
Analysis conducted by our team demonstrates this money significantly increased Joe Biden’s vote margin in key swing states. This unprecedented merger of public election offices with private resources and personnel is an acute threat to our republic, and should be the focus of electoral reform efforts moving forward.
The 2020 election wasn’t stolen — it was likely bought by one of the world’s wealthiest

Multiculturalism is meeting reality once again as Afghan refugees are making their presence known in the countries that welcomed them, and the fun is just beginning. One place that has experienced the richness and vibrance of diversity is Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England, which is a popular vacation spot. It’s easy to see why: It’s on the Yorkshire Coast in a beautiful area, and when its architecturally stunning Grand Hotel was built in 1867, it was the largest hotel in Europe. The hotel still boasts numerous attractions. It is described on Tripadvisor as “one of the town’s landmark features and instantly recognisable on the

Eric Clapton has been a rock legend for longer than I have been alive. He’s an icon in the music industry who has earned respect and admiration from millions over his career. But he’s been making headlines this year for other reasons.
Since having a severe negative reaction to the AstraZeneca vaccine earlier this year, he’s become an outspoken opponent of the COVID vaccines. He has promised not to perform in venues with vaccine mandates, collaborated with Van Morrison on some anti-vaccine/anti-lockdowns songs, and even bankrolled an anti-vaccine rock group.
And his recent outspokenness as a vaccine skeptic has many of the cultural gatekeepers looking to have him canceled. Rolling Stone magazine

Joe Biden’s massive $4 trillion spending bills are in mortal danger of collapsing under their own weight as the gap between what the radicals want and what less-radical Democrats will vote for widens.
To make matters worse for ordinary Americans, Biden has come down decisively on the side of the radicals, leaving party moderates to wonder where the sanity went.
The $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill, already passed by the Senate, is languishing in political purgatory with radical Democrats in the House threatening to kill it unless their $3.5 trillion social safety net bill is approved first. Resentful moderates feel they’ve been lied to by the president and Speaker

CHICAGO, IL – After touching down in Chicago to deliver an address where President Joe Biden discussed the likes of vaccine mandates earlier in October, the president’s speech was in standard form – in that he uttered a handful of gaffes that ranged from misstating the Chicago mayor’s gender to incoherent rambling. [Tweet] On October 7th, President Biden visited a Clayco Construction site in Elk Grove Village where he was introduced by Governor JB Pritzker, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, and Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi prior to him discussing COVID vaccine mandates and economic recovery.
During his address, President Biden was urging business to begin imposing their own vaccine mandate for employees

A customer violently assaulted a security guard at a New York City Apple Store after the two had a dispute over masks.
Police said the dispute occurred just after 6:30 PM inside the W. 14th Street store near Chelsea. After the security guard confronted the customer over the store’s COVID-19 mask requirement, the two argued, and that’s when the customer pulled out a sharp object, stabbing the guard multiple times, NBC4 reported. When police arrived, the suspect had fled the store. Authorities say early information about the suspect is “black, male, 5’6, in his 20’s wearing a black mask, a black shirt and blue jeans,” ABC7 reported.

CALIFORNIA – According to a report from NPR, officials in California are reportedly exploring a potential wide-scale offering to combat meth addiction: paying individuals to stop using drugs.
While it’s a bit of a rudimentary explanation of what’s being entertained, that’s essentially what the state may pursue to counteract addiction running rampant within the state. [Tweet] Most would agree that drug addiction – especially in the realm of opioids and methamphetamines – is bad all around: bad for individuals, bad for families, and bad for communities since addiction can often have a domino effect that leads to crimes that cause tangible harm.
And when addiction manifests into the deep negatives like overdoses,

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday handed the Biden administration a stunning defeat with regard to construction on former President Donald Trump’s border wall, which currently sits incomplete as illegal immigrants continue to flood across the open border.
The country’s high court ordered lower courts to vacate previous rulings about the wall, citing “changed circumstances” in the case. Environmental activists, activist judges, Democrats in Congress and private law organizations such as the American Civil Liberties Union have of course opposed the wall since before concrete was ever poured.
The Trump administration in 2019 declared a national emergency at the border. The White House and Defense Department then diverted $3.6 billion

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- An alligator attacked a homeless woman who fell into a Florida canal on Monday morning, authorities said.
The woman was resting on a sea wall when she fell into the canal, according to a St. Petersburg Fire Rescue news release. Someone heard her cries for help and called 911.

Will China Invade Taiwan? Despite the recent saber rattling, probably not any time soon. It lacks the amphibious capacity to land the 30 plus brigades it will need to overcome the island’s defense. “China does not appear to be currently investing in the equipment likely required for a direct assault on Taiwan, such as large amphibious assault ships and medium landing craft necessary for a large beach assault.”
Beijing’s current naval build implies the prerequisite for taking Taipei is neutralizing the US navy. “China’s recent spate of military exercises and the PLA Navy’s focus on building large aircraft carriers, escort cruisers and amphibious transport dock (LPD) ships

Smith & Wesson is moving its headquarters from Massachusetts to Tennessee, citing the southern state's "unwavering support of the Second Amendment" as well as its lower cost of living.
The decision to depart New England was "an extremely difficult and emotional" one, Mark Smith, the gun-maker's president and CEO, said Thursday in a statement. The company, based in Springfield, Massachusetts, since 1852, will spend $125 million on the relocation, it said.
As many as 750 jobs will move from Massachusetts, Connecticut and Missouri to Maryville, Tennessee, by the summer of 2023, according to Smith & Wesson.

In an interview with “Good Morning America” on Tuesday, former President Barack Obama commented on the border crisis in Del Rio, Texas.
Obama stated that the crisis at the Del Rio border is “heartbreaking” and that the system, overall, “is dysfunctional.”
“It’s the reason I proposed comprehensive immigration reform. It’s the reason Joe Biden proposed it during his administration, and it’s something that is long overdue,” Obama stated, according to GMA.
The former president went on to say the situation at Del Rio is a reminder that more work needs to be done and that President Biden understands the situation better than anyone.
“As big-hearted as he is,
