A US Marine officer, Lt. Colonel Stuart Scheller, publicly criticized the Biden Administration’s chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan (snip) He particularly targeted the top brass of the military (snip) The fate imposed on Scheller is eerily similar to the fate of Colonel Alfred Dreyfus, the Jewish French officer who was scapegoated for the crimes of their military establishment and elite officer class. (snip) The French military refused to believe that one of their favored officers, one with close access to the elites, would do such a thing. So, they went in search of a sacrificial goat. They found it in Dreyfus.

And yet treasonous Gen. Milley walks free and is lionized by the Democrats for siding with the Communist Chinese over America.

Zola was a literary giant, not simply a journalist. His voice was huge, yet he still had to flee to England after “J’accuse.” Government corruption knows no bounds.

The Marines are so proud they leave no one behind on the battlefield, yet they seem okay with letting a hero languish in the brig. Where are all the brave, heroic and patriotic Marines, particularly those retired flag officers and "always a Marine" veterans? Where are their protest demonstrations outside the gates of Camp Lejune? In Washington? Anywhere? Some leadership...Semper Fugiens.

If you read his first message, he says he knows he will be arrested. You can’t have soldiers and line officers questioning their superiors. That would not be a structured military unit, it would be a mob. I don’t disagree with what he did, but he knew they would have no choice but to court marshal him. Especially after they warned him. Their problem now is what to do with him because they know he is right.

Chicago now is like Dodge City before Marshal Dillon arrived: a fatal shootout on its streets is no crime because both sides were shooting. Mary Grabar has authored a serious, mature book that should be in every American household and classroom. Its message is so critical to understand that it might usefully serve as required reading in a test and qualification for American citizenship. (snip) Ms. Grabar doesn’t merely "debunk” the 1619 Project, she devastates it, by a relentless, professional marshalling of facts and data, and with thoughtful argumentation, choice sourcing and careful footnotes. For its depth in historical research, the book reads very smoothly. I found it a “page-turner”

Of the many positions Kash Patel held during Trump’s presidency, his most important was as an aide to Devin Nunes when the latter worked doggedly to reveal that the Democrats’ Russiagate charges were a hoax coming from the Democrat party—specifically, from Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Biden insists that 97%-98% of the population must be vaccinated to end the COVID risk. However, as it seems possible that mass vaccination is a trigger for aggressive new variants, one can’t help thinking that he wishes to propagate the virus going forward to the midterm 2022 elections and beyond. (snip) it looks as if the DNC embraced the virus and is doing its best to keep it circulating through society for purely political reasons. It was able to get Trump out of the White House, along with election fraud that was made easier because of panicked lockdowns. Now, the vaccine is the newest weapon in the DNC arsenal.

In Stephen Sondheim’s Into The Woods, there’s a point in the story when things have gone terribly wrong for everyone. The characters respond by disavowing personal responsibility and telling everyone else that it’s “Your Fault.” That song could have been the background music to the nauseating spectacle in the Senate Tuesday, when Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Between 11.50am EST and 11.52am EST, Facebook made a series of updates to its border gateway protocol (BGP) which caused it to 'disappear' from the internet. The BGP allows for the exchange of routing information on the internet and takes people to the websites they want to access. Facebook's changes included withdrawals which removed its properties from the domain naming system it operates and essentially made it impossible for anyone to connect to the sites
