Despite zero evidence that human greenhouse gas emissions are harming Earth, the Democrats, cheered by the media, continue to enact energy policies they say are necessary for saving our world. But all they’re doing is increasing energy scarcity, which forces prices higher, and ignoring facts that don’t fit their narrative.
America’s worst energy policy offender is California, where the ever-eager-to-mandate-and-forbid ruling class is outlawing automobiles that burn fossil fuels, halting electricity generation from conventional sources, and executing a war on gas stations.

In short, you can’t control the weather.....don’t even try.

I have said it on this site since 1995. The only person who could control the weather was Simon Bar Sinister. He was defeated by Underdog and his weather machine destroyed

Global warming in the summer and global cooling in the winter, that's it.

First of all you would think that we have never experienced "weather" before. These political people are not ignorant, the masses are. Anyone who believes this tripe needs a quick education on smoke and mirrors. It's about control, their control of us, and money, they ability to pocket lots and lots of cash. "Oh, we care so much, we want to keep you safe, big bad conservatives want you to drown, you don't need a car, you don't need AC, you just need to trust us. And send money". It is a case of slight of hand BS.

Prolly just coincidence that every single progressive concern finds it's solution in more and bigger government intrusion into your life.

The democrats only took up the climate change idea because republicans have all the good ideas for the people, like a good economy, strong military, law and order, etc.

Still haven’t read the article that details where some midget scientist in a Chinese lab has determined the perfect temperature for my home town in the USA. Who makes that call and in what authority?

Do you mean taxing us will not prevent global warming?

Create a tree and then we can talk! Jesus Christ controls the weather! He created it!

I say this all the time. I the middle ages, it was much warmer than it is now. In the 19th century we had a Little Ice Age. It wasn't uncommon for the Thames to freeze solid in London. In the 20th century, we had a warmup. We will probably have another cool down and there is nothing we can do about it.

The total amount of energy that all of humanity uses in a year, the sun continually delivers to the earth in a matter of minutes. All of humanity could fit together in one big suburb inside of Texas, with room to spare. We are a rounding error six decimal places down from relevant. SO, let's all be careful not to pee in the ocean, the rising sea level it would cause would be devastating, (minorities, the poor, children and anyone who identifies as a woman impacted worse)... we know, because of SCIENCE. Don't bother doing the math, elite and superior people will do that for you.

The Sun (for reasons known only to itself) undergoes a cycle of heating and cooling in comparison to the 'average' with regular cycles. In fact scientists can measure 28 such cycles in the last 10400 years precisely the time since the glaciers receded. Each cycle lasts exactly 370 years . We are in twenty ninth cycle right now. Half the cycle i.e. 185 years of warming was from 1810 to 1995 when cooling began. NASA's geo synchronous satellites launched since 1982 conclusively show that. We are now well into the second 185 year half of cooling which runs from 1995 to 2180. There is absolutely NOTHING we can do about it. Except get the 7.6 billion population of the world ready to feed and warm itself during these conditions. The rest is ALL political hooey. Don't pay attention.

Every few years, the left goes batdung crazy about climate change. Then they fade away for a few years and come back again. So every few years we get an article that states the obvious. That man cannot affect the global climate, and therefore there is nothing we can do about it. Clean up your area of the country is fine, but changing the weather, ain't going to happen.

Whatever you do don't look a a graph of the long term climate cycle and the implications for the not too distant future, it's positively chilling.

Here's how ridiculous the left is do everything the green fanatics want, solar panel your house, wind turbines for electricity, drive an electric smart car, ban fossil fuels and sing Kumbaya while standing on your redwood deck. Then one fine day Mt. St. Helens decides to burp. The U.S. is darkened by an grey ash cloud the volcano emits CO2 to levels we can only imagine. After years of the left saying we humans have to reduce it the awful CO2. In one event the work the left did was nullified by Mother Nature. Man shouldn't be so smug to believe he can control the climate and play God but the left still tries.

strange the "Global Warming Media" isn't more focused on Russia right now...Siberia, one of the most "Natural" unspoiled, unpopulated and Coldest regions of the entire world is on FIRE! 62,000 square MILES of it, ALL natural Fires. More, bigger, hotter, smokier Fires than all of the worlds other fires combined. Smoke covering the North Pole for the 1st time anyone has ever heard of.(Gee is that soot gonna cover the ice and make it melt????) Not only creating all of that super heated air, but millions of tons of global warming gasses, and leaving blackened land which attracts and holds more solar heat...though the smoke dims the solar warming under it...also altering the PH balance of the land, the water, eventually even the oceans of the world by introducing both more alkaline AND more acidic ashes(depending upon degree of completed burning) Add into the mix an incredibly active volcanic year...while volcanoes are smaller than the major forest/prairie fires the temps they generate are many rimes higher, melted rock is HOT! often 1000degrees hotter, spreading out over a wider area, higher altitudes, and under the sea(where water is a more efficient heat sink than air by orders of magnitude) hundreds of subsea eruptions are raising the deep oceans temps in ways a verrrry slightly warmer air mass above them never could.
But...I do have a solution! Turn off ALL energy to ALL major US Cities for 8 hrs a day, they can thus achieve a 30% reduction(Cities that actually produce power from within their own boundaries could perhaps be allowed to use enough of it to maintain it, not having to Cold Start every day, though no power would be allowed out of the facilities)

I live on the east coast. When will these People of Smarts decide to take up the issue of high humidity in the summer?
