California's recall is America's final warning

Original Article

On September 14, Californians of all political persuasions will answer two questions on their ballot: 1) Do you want to recall Gov. Gavin Newsom? 2) Whom do you want to replace him? The fate of our nation will be determined by the outcome of those two questions. How can I say that? First, you have to know what's really going on, so let's pull back the curtain. Months ago, Ric Grenell publicly said he had no interest in running for governor because Pelosi's daughter said there wasn't going to be a recall. If it came down to it, Feinstein would have a sudden reason to retire,

Comments:

Uni-party. Where have I heard that before? I'm interested in Californians' opinions. They're directly affected, and have my prayers.

To those still waiting to smell the coffee, heed this final warning. Last and final warning, Amerika. Larry Elder is Cal's Trump. If Jenner were to be elected Cal's new governor, he/she/it will not last long. Cal's uniparty will see to it unless Cal's tranny crowd has something to say about it.

Not so sure Jenner is what anyone wants. The most likely outcome is the cheating makes sure the recall fails. I have felt the game here has been rigged since 2008 so I lost hope a while ago. This time it may be hard for them to cheat enough. Its about 50/50 but most of those that would vote for Gavin are not very motivated and those that want him recalled are very motivated. If it happens Larry looks to have as much support as the next 2 combined so he could very likely take it all.

Californians heres your valid chance to change your state back to normal. If you dont, its on YOU! Its YOUR fault, and maybe some who post here excoriating us for berating Californians will either be elated that their fellow Californians picked Larry Elder over GQ boy or they will continue to blame US when we are critical for stating our opinions of your state and its 39 million people....I personally dont hold out much hope, the idiots outnumber the normals there and its up to the normals to either fix that state or get the hell out of there like my family did......I have no hope for you but I pray Im wrong. Good Luck Californians!

If an honest election were held, Larry would win in a landslide. Or more typically for California a mudslide. At least they can't call him a white racist. The demoncraps have no useful ideas, couldn't leads Biden's brat to a cocaine patch, but they are experts at rigging elections. Larry will have get a million more votes than Governor Nuisance to be declared a winner by 100 votes.

If Arnold Swartzenegger (sp) can be Governor of California and Bruce Jenner can run for Governor of California as a woman then you have to know that there is a hidden government in California. Good luck with that!

#2 - Reporting for duty. Great summation of the CA-GOPe, who saddled us with SwartzenKennedy the last time we deplorables got uppity and booted out Grey Davis. They're totally useless, however a bi-product of organizing for the recall has been a slow takeover of county Repub committees. There are new names on the roster for our Mendocino County committee. However, I don't have any idea of how deep or wide it goes throughout the state. The Central Valley (formally known as the San Joaquin before secularization) and the northern non-coastal counties are our strongholds, but they are sparsely populated and without any major urban centers. I trust the vote count in the rural counties, but S.F. and L.A. have the voting machines and, as per commie standard operating procedure, vote counters that can't seem to finish until all the other state returns are in. However, Gruesome Newsom is even more despised than Grey Davis. Newsom's handling of the lockdown, mask and vaccine issues has brought politics to everyone's front door. It is no longer something that can waved off as other people's responsibility or to just retreat from the fight. Davis was booted because he lied so flagrantly during the campaign about the state's debt, and then the day after the election (the day after!) he announces his opponent and critics were correct. While Grey slapped us in the face once, Gruesome has been flogging us daily for 18 months. The anger and resentment is palpable. California voters surprised the whole country with the Davis recall. I believe we can do it again. Bruce Jenner (aka Kaitlyn) isn't even campaigning in the state. He's in Australia or New Zealand filming some reality TV show. Jenner is freak, at least Arnold was a man. I've already got my "Elder for Governor" sign in the back window of my 96 Cherokee. Met a friend at the post office and she liked both my signs. The other reads, "Liberty - Live as you choose Vs. Socialism - Live as you're told". Doing my bit in my little corner of the world. Make California Golden Again!

The Marxists who control California will never let a strong black conservative win. It destroys their narrative. I expect the media will start a smear campaign against Elder soon, probably starting with a woman he knew forty years ago who will claim inappropriate behavior. Remember, they used the same tactic with Herman Cain and Justice Thomas. I think people are starting to become more aware of the left's devious tactics, and they are not as effective as they used to be, but I'm more concerned about the corruption in California. If they steal it, who will stop them? If Elder is able to take office, it will be a true act of God and huge shift in the tide. There's always hope.

Frankly, I do not want my suture to depend on what happens in California! So goes California does not mean that the “so” will go across the entire nation! I am sick of being tied to a corrupt party and political system and I am not just referencing democrats. Plenty Republicans are just as treacherous as the commucrats. Democrats and their enablers, the Republicans, should be behind bars for what they have done to our beloved Republic. If there were free and fair elections in the state, we just might see a ray of hope for the once beautiful California. However, if they cannot conduct a fair election, California is toast. The Marxist democrats and enabling republicans have destroyed the state and they want to do it to the entire country. Has the corruption and lawlessness permeated the state so deep that it is impossible to save it? What a shame that we have such corrupt individuals among us. They would destroy anything in order to attain the political power they desire.

I regretfully concur with the author's assessment of the state of play in CA's recall efforts: the CA election system is almost hopelessly rigged in favor of CA dems, no matter how badly they perform while in office. Newsome is case in point with his disastrous tenures both as Mayor of SF and Governor. Dems hold supermajorities in both chambers in Sacramento, so good luck overriding their vetos. They have exploited loopholes in CA election laws (ballot harvesting, mail-in, ballots, etc) to perfection. The CA GOP is also a disgrace in changing their by-laws to insure that 'their man' is on the ballot, not some interloper like Larry Elder. They are content to act like the Washington Generals playing against the dems as the Harlem Globetrotters. The political arrangement reeks of the same DC Uniparty farce, but at the state level. As to the phrase: "As goes California, so goes the rest of the country", I'm not entirely convinced of that. While there are similarities, each state has it's own unique personality, history, sub-culture(s), demographics, political arrangement and economic base. However, CA carpetbaggers and economic refugees have tainted regional politics in neighboring states such as Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Arizona and now Colorado. IMO, I don't think that necessarily spells doom for the rest of the country...yet, because of the reasons stated above.

The old saying "as California goes so does the nation" might have been correct in the 1960s but not now. People don't think of California as nothing but a freak show of politics at times it gets even laughable. I'm not shaken or surprised that Bruce Jenner is high profile it's only a joke and not even a funny one. Texas is more the model now as California slips into the ocean of despair I even think Charles Manson could seek office and win even as a dead person that's how out of kilter Cali has become. Right now I would put all bets on the company of U-Haul that's a real winner in California.

I agree with TQ’s assessment. I lived my entire 63 year life in SoCal, until two months ago when we completed our move to Idaho. We followed all four of our kids who grew up in CA but saw no opportunity there to give their kids the sort of life they had growing up. I happily signed the recall petition last year and when to a recall rally at the Huntington Beach pier, but I won’t have the pleasure of voting for Mr. Elder. Since no big name Democrat has been allowed to run in the recall, I’m thinking the ruling party plans to cheat the vote as much as needed to ensure the recall fails. I don’t see the UniParty coalescing around Mr/Ms Jenner.

The old adage that California set the pace and everyone followed used to be true --- until that state went totally off the deep end. Every dopey law from no smoking to mandatory recycling caught on like a forest fire in Santa Ana but that trend stopped when the homeless were allowed to take over. No, California is it's own swamp now. America's private Cuba. I seriously doubt Gruesome Newsom will be recalled and the difference will all come out of LA County. However, should lightning strike, any one else who takes over --- especially a Republican --- will be impeached within a month. Guaranteed. It is my understanding that old Gavin could lose the recall but if no one gets 50% to take his place then there is a run off --- and he can run again in that runoff to replace himself! We're not supposed to chat on Lucianne but I'll bet #10 knows for sure!

While I hope the author is correct, the assumption that Newsom is “toast” and will be recalled is wildly optimistic. I suspect Newsom survives. I hope I am wrong. While the Democrats run everything there are millions of Republican voters in California. The GOP should get behind the candidate who is polling best. That appears to be Larry Elder. My choice is Falconer but for me the most important part is ridding ourselves of Newsom. Elder, Falconer, Jenner. All are fine with me.

The Democrats will steal the recall election. Newsom is too powerful. Designated by Jerry Brown dynasty, he is the nephew of Nancy Pelosi (his mother is Mr Pelosi sister) and his dad was the omnipotent lawyer to J. Paul Getty. They will use every fraud to keep him. This is despite $5 Dollar gas and the homeless of Venice beach. Newsom is giving Covid welfare and medical insurance to illegal aliens so they probably will have them vote. People are not working, opting to live off state handouts. Our Teacher, Police, and prison guard unions are all powerful. Everybody in California believes the global warming lie and want to send our water to the smelt baitfish. Larry Elder would be a fantastic choice. The black Trump, he knows Los Angeles inside out. Perhaps Frank Luntz is just another victim of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Since the 2016 election, it seems he is far more interested in tut-tutting the Republican base than he is in finding out what we think. The GOP should have been over him in December of 2020 when he poll-tested words to get Americans to comply with lockdowns and masks. His study, in conjunction with the Beaumont Foundation, found that Republicans were particularly skeptical of these COVID-19 mitigation strategies. Luntz came up with some ridiculous suggestions: Survey respondents had a much more positive reaction to the term “stay-at-home order.” “Calling it a lockdown brings to mind jailing your population,” Luntz said.

One of the most obvious misconceptions about liberals today is that they personify tolerance. The Oxford English Dictionary defines tolerance as "the ability or willingness to tolerate something, in particular the existence of opinions or behavior that one does not necessarily agree with. A recent poll by the Survey Center on American Life at the American Enterprise Institute found that Democrats are twice as likely as Republicans to report ending a friendship over a political disagreement (20% versus 10%). Liberals are also "far more likely than conservatives are to say they are no longer friends with someone due to political differences" (28% versus 10%).

Clips of a leaked CNN interview published by Project Veritas show Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez saying she thought she was going to be raped at the Capitol Riot. In the video clip published by Project Veritas Tuesday, Ocasio-Cortez told CNN’s Dana Bash that she is a survivor of sexual assault, noting that she has not “told many people that.” Project Veritas’ source believed CNN would air the interview in August, spokesman Mario Balaban told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

An emotional hearing this week in which police officers attacked in the Capitol riot testified before a House select committee investigating the events of Jan. 6 turned more Americans against the need for the probe, according to a Morning Consult poll. Among voters of all parties, 53 percent supported the investigation, down from 66 percent in the survey in June and 58 percent just a week ago. Four out of five Democrats were in favor, while only a quarter of Republicans were, along with half of independents.Only 49 percent of those polled said they had watched all or even part of

People who do not comply with Covid-19 pandemic restrictions are mostly male, more extroverted and more likely to put their own self-interests above those of others, suggests a new study of behaviours internationally. University of Sydney researchers assessed behaviours and attitudes towards Covid regulations in 1,575 people in Australia, Canada, the UK, and the US between April and May last year, during the first wave of the pandemic. Their study, published in the journal Plos One, found that about 10% of people reported being non-compliant with restrictions. These ind

Thanks to a reworked menu and long hours, Jeannie Kim managed to keep her San Francisco restaurant alive during the coronavirus pandemic. That makes it all the more frustrating that she fears her breakfast-focused diner could be ruined within months by new rules that could make one of her top menu items — bacon — hard to get in California. “Our number one seller is bacon, eggs and hash browns,” said Kim, who for 15 years has run SAMS American Eatery on the city’s busy Market Street. “It could be devastating for us.” At the beginning of next year, California

A Coptic Christian church was recently burned to the ground—not in Egypt, where the torching of Coptic churches is not an uncommon occurrence, but in Canada, also known as “the church-burning centre of the Western world.” In the early morning hours of July 19, St. George Coptic Orthodox Church in Surrey, which served 500 families and provided food for the homeless, was set aflame and completely destroyed. Only one charred wall remains standing. According to the report, “The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but Surrey RCMP [police] said it is being treated as ‘suspicious.’ The St. George Coptic

A father of five, already hooked up to a bed in a Las Vegas hospital, texted his fiancée and expressed his regret over not getting the COVID-19 shot. “I should have gotten the damn vaccine,” Michael Freedy wrote. On Thursday, the 39-year-old, known by friends as “Big Mike” died of complications from coronavirus. He contracted the disease during a vacation in San Diego with his fiancée, Jessica du Preez, and their five children—ages 17, 10, 7, 6 and 17 months. Shortly after they returned from the trip earlier this month, Freedy developed a painful skin rash.
