The vote in the House over whether to create a “January 6th Commission” has ended. The bill passed, which is expected given who runs the chamber. What wasn’t as expected (or perhaps it was?) is that 35 Republicans joined hands with their Democrat colleagues, agreeing to walk headlong into a partisan buzzsaw.
This per The Daily Caller.
The House of Representatives passed a bill Wednesday that would create a bipartisan, 9/11-style commission into the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, with dozens of Republicans joining Democrats in a rebuke of GOP leadership.
The bill passed 252 to 175 with support from 35 Republicans, even though top GOP leaders opposed it and

Geraldo Rivera threw paper and turned his back on Dan Bongino during a wild screaming match over the Palestinian-Israel conflict on Hannity Wednesday. The Fox News personalities appeared together on Sean Hannity to discuss the Middle East conflict which has killed at least 227 people in Gaza and 12 in Israel. The two appeared ready to resume hostilities from the moment they appeared on air after a similar spat in April. Fox News host Hannity began by asking Rivera, an outspoken critic of Israeli aggression, for his views.

Joe Biden has had his 100-day honeymoon. People were bound to start complaining eventually.
But then something at the gas station caught my attention. As I was filling my car, I noticed that someone had put a sticky note on the gas pump. It read, “Prices Compliments of Joe Biden.” When I told a friend about it, he commented that those notes have been appearing around town. (snip) On my 15-minute drive home I saw two pickup trucks proudly flying “F*** Biden” flags. Yup, something’s definitely different this time.

Thomas Lifson caught the fact that Biden made a joke that would have sent journalists screaming to their psychiatrists had President Trump made it: When they asked about Israel, he said he’d run them over. What someone noticed later is that, in addition to threatening violence to journalists who made him uncomfortable, Biden may have been faking that he was driving. Sharp-eyed observers noted that his steering wheel didn’t control the tires and believe that someone else was driving the car. (snip) In fact, if you watch slo-mo footage of the event, it appears very much as if Biden has a dummy steering wheel.

The leading Black Lives Matter organization declared "solidarity with Palestinians" Monday, a week after Hamas terrorists in Gaza began firing a relentless barrage of rockets into Israel, indiscriminately shelling civilian targets as well as dropping some missiles short and blowing up buildings within its territory.

I’ve shied away from reporting on events in Maricopa because it would require more hours than I have in a day to track intelligently the back-and-forth in that recount. My touchstone there is the fact that the Democrats’ and NeverTrumpers’ ferocious efforts to stop the count strike me as the actions of people with something to hide. (snip) Events in a small town in New Hampshire, though, are more interesting because a low-key audit may reveal serious election anomalies harming Republicans.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot attempted to defend her racist interview policy on Wednesday, explaining why she would only give interviews to “journalists of color” and exclude white journalists on the occasion of her two-year anniversary in office. Former President Barack Obama called Donald Trump a “corrupt motherf–ker,” “madman” and a “racist, sexist pig” to people behind the scenes, a new book claims. Obama had actually preferred Trump as president over Sen. Ted Cruz when the two were locked in a Republican primary battle, a forthcoming book by writer Edward-Isaac Dovere says.“I didn’t think it would be this bad,” he later told donors, the Guardian reported, citing Dovere’s “Battle for the Soul: Inside the Democrats’ Campaigns to Defeat Trump.”“I didn’t think we’d have this racist, sexist pig,” Obama is quoted as saying.

Nearly 1,000 Apple employees have signed an internal letter to CEO Tim Cook urging the company to issue a public statement in support of the Palestinian people, The Verge reported Thursday. "We are frustrated and disappointed because once more, many of those in positions of power and influence - who boldly stand for human rights in so many other just causes - either choose to remain silent or release ineffectually neutral 'both sides' statements with regards to the Palestinian situation," wrote the letter's authors, who are members of the Apple Muslim Association, according to The Verge.
