Last week, Hailey Davidson, a transgender woman, won her first professional title in Florida, topping LPGA player Perrine Delacour for the win. The same day, she was sent an email by the USGA saying she’s met the organization’s Gender Policy eligibility criteria and can now compete in its championships and she’s hoping to hear similar news from the LPGA via a reciprocity agreement, according to Golfweek. So much for fairness in women’s sports. In January, Ms. Davidson underwent gender reassignment surgery, and she’s been undergoing hormone treatments since 2015.(Snip)The science in these cases is clear. Biological men have more muscle mass, larger hearts and lungs,

Walden, who lives in Bedford-Stuyvesant, was charged with murder and gun possession. He has ties to the Flamer Gang

One of the victims of a horrific subway stabbing spree lost his eye in the attack—and the teenage suspects staged the early-morning rampage as part of a gang initiation, prosecutors said Sunday. The gruesome details emerged in weekend court appearances for two of the three teens arrested in the Friday attacks, which left five victims bloodied and battered in lower Manhattan. Taquarious Soto-Burgos, 19; Joseph Foster, 18, and a 16-year-old boy were charged with robbery and weapons possession in connection with the predawn violence. A fourth suspect remained at large. Prosecutors have “information that the defendant’s violent crime spree on innocent

Housing and Urban Development Secretary Marcia Fudge said Monday the Biden administration won’t prevent illegal immigrants from access to public housing, as she announced a program to deliver $5 billion in emergency housing vouchers aimed at preventing homelessness. Asked if the administration would pursue a Trump-era policy to make sure that only U.S. citizens receive housing aid, Ms. Fudge said, “The answer is no.” “We are doing everything we can possibly to take any living person in this nation off the streets,” she told reporters. “That’s kind of our posture.” In 2019, the Trump administration proposed tightening regulations to prevent undocumented immigrants

A 4-year-old boy found dead in a Dallas street was kidnapped while he slept, his distraught mother said. The boy, who suffered multiple wounds from what police say was an “edged weapon,” was identified Sunday by his mother as Cash Gernon, WFAA reported. The “happy-go-lucky” boy was sleeping when a suspect, identified by cops as 18-year-old Darriynn Brown, barged into his home through a back door and kidnapped him on Saturday, his mother said. The boy’s grieving mom said he had no idea what allegedly led Brown to target her son, whose body was later discovered in the street

The commission formed to observe the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa Race Massacre has announced that it has booted Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt from his seat on the panel a week after he signed a bill outlawing the teaching of some race and racism concepts in public schools. A statement from the commission did not indicate the reason for the parting, and a spokeswoman said the commission had no further comment. However, commission project manager Phil Armstrong sharply criticized the Republican governor for signing a bill into law that prohibits the teaching of so-called critical race theory in Oklahoma schools.

Police in Louisville, Kentucky, are reportedly investigating after a disabled Army veteran claimed she was called a "White b----" and then beaten by a group of Black women in a grocery store parking lot on Mother's Day.
In an on-camera interview with WAVE3 News, Pamela Ahlstedt-Brown recalled trying to leave the Kroger on Breckinridge Lane on May 9 by backing out of a handicapped parking spot–but stopped short when she noticed that a vehicle had blocked her in. "I get out and I say, ‘Do you guys need any help?’ and she said, ‘[expletive] you, you White b----’," Ahlstedt-Brown told the outlet,

Baltimore—The Yankees’ COVID outbreak spread to a ninth member of their organization. Aaron Boone said Sunday they got news a “staff member” tested positive, which they learned Saturday night. According to Boone, the new positive is not part of the on-field coaching staff and the team didn’t name the person, as it did with pitching coach Matt Blake, first base coach Reggie Willits and third base coach Phil Nevin.(Snip) The staff member that tested positive Saturday is quarantining in Baltimore and, like the previous eight, is fully vaccinated. The other positive cases remain in quarantine in Tampa.

Police in Northern California have arrested three social activists on charges that they vandalized the former home of a police expert witness after he testified on behalf of fired Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin during his murder trial in the death of George Floyd. The arrests Tuesday in Santa Rosa were in connection with the targeting in mid-April of the onetime residence of defense use-of-force witness and retired police officer Barry Brodd. Pig's blood was smeared on the house in Santa Rosa, north of San Francisco, and a pig's head was left there. Police were quick to conclude that the thousands of dollars

Eric Clapton has hit out at 'propaganda' over vaccine safety, claiming he suffered alarming side effects after his Covid jabs. The legendary guitarist, a lockdown sceptic, said his hands and feet became 'useless'–prompting fears he would never play again. In a message to his music producer, he said: 'I took the first jab of AZ [AstraZeneca] and straight away had severe reactions which lasted ten days.' The 76-year-old said he 'recovered eventually' but suffered further 'disastrous reactions' six weeks later after the second shot. He added: 'My hands and feet were either frozen, numb or burning, and pretty much useless for two weeks,

In a twist worthy of Mark Twain himself, a St. John’s University professor has been fired for reading a passage containing the N-word from Twain’s anti-slavery novel “Pudd’nhead Wilson” in her “Literature of Satire” class.
Hannah Berliner Fischthal, an adjunct instructor at the Catholic college in Queens for 20 years, uttered the N-word once during a remote class Feb. 10—after she first explained to students the context of the word and said she hoped it would not offend anyone.(Snip) The day after the class, however, she got an email from a student who said she had to “abruptly” leave

A teen attacker with a 12-inch kitchen knife turned a Manhattan straphanger’s morning commute into a ride from hell. The still-shaken survivor of the early Friday stabbing spree aboard a downtown No. 4 train detailed the gory fight for his life, recounting how one of the assailant’s partners-in-crime urged the knife-wielding suspect to “keep doing it” as the blood started to spill. "I started defending myself,” said the 44-year-old man, who asked for anonymity Saturday as he spoke to a Daily News reporter from his Manhattan home. “I tried to avoid being stabbed… I was going to work.

The clown car takes another lap; now it's nine people out of a small sample, enough to take the field. Imagine, an experimental vaccine that does not prevent you from catching the target disease, which itself is so insidious that people can have it and not know it, and sensitivity of the tests can be altered to produce results depending on the desired outcome. And even if you're vaccinated, the unvaccinated pose a threat. Trust the science and take the jab.
